I was extremely pleased with the work Mr. Stevens and crew did for me. The price was fair and the work was exceptional. His crew is awesome - hardworking and quick. Everything was cleaned up nicely and they went above and beyond what was agreed upon. I will use them again when any other tree service is required.

JD did an amazing job removing a dying tree and stump from my front yard. He was very professional and kind guy. His crew worked hard at getting the job done at a fast pace. He even included my kids in removing the tree stump at the end. They loved being a part of "taking down a big tree". We will remember this experience forever. ❤️ I would definitely recommend them!

JD and his team were absolutely amazing. In addition to coordinating work remotely and executing tree removal, trimming, and grinding multiple stumps, they took the time to actually educate our family, explaining the services and the reasons behind their recommendations, and being incredibly responsive through the entire process.

Our primary project was a critical removal of a mature oak tree (>55 feet) that had been growing and leaning dangerously over our recently purchased home. Along with safely handling that tree, he also identified other trees that presented hazards and figured out cost-effective ways to address them, and took care of another tree that was about to be an issue for both us and a neighbor. To top it off, all the work was done at extremely competitive prices and ahead of schedule...

Overall, we can't recommend North Alabama Tree Service highly enough, have already referred 5 people to them as clients, and would happily send more business their way...

JD and his folks are good people to do business with. They communicated well, showed up when they said, were very professional and conscientious taking care of my property, cleaned up behind themselves, and didn't try to make any changes to our agreement. Would definitely call them again!

We had 2 huge oaks in the front yard. One was really close to the house. JD and team took those down with the precision of a surgeon. Crew was very efficient and very careful not to damage property. This company comes with Workers Compensation insurance and general liability. I would highly recommend!

J.D.'s crew did a fabulous job taking down 3 very tall Sweet Gum trees and grinding the stumps. The work was scheduled right away and they showed up precisely when they said they would, with all the proper equipment. The job was completed in one day and cleaned up before they left. I am well satisfied and I highly recommend this company.

Needed some high up tree branches trimmed from over our pool. North Alabama Tree had the right equipment, knowhow, and skill. Did a great job and cleaned all debris from our yard. It was interesting to watch how they did the trimming without getting close to the pool.

JD and his guys were able to come in on short notice and complete a job within my short time line. Will definitely contact again. Very professional and insured. Also, check out his firewood sales yard (Firewood Alabama) on East Limestone Road between the City of Athens and Madison.

By far the most professional, knowledgeable, and respectful tree service around. JD is extremely friendly and honest about his work. His crew is efficient and cleaned up after the job (which many don't do). I had a dead gum tree 9 stories high and they were able to remove it without a hiccup...and ZERO damage to my property or driveway or lawn! No joke ppl, just call JD now.

JD and his team were very thorough, professional, and fairly priced! Our job was rather large and it was completed in a timely manner. We're sincerely pleased with the quality of work that was completed. I have so much space in my backyard now.

JD and his crew took down a large dying oak tree overhanging my deck and house in a matter of hours without damaging anything. He was very communicative and was able to schedule the job on short notice.

JD & Crew removed two large Bradford pear trees from my front yard that were near the house and ground the stumps. I was able to schedule the removal much sooner than expected. They were timely, professional and made sure everything was completed and cleaned up to my satisfaction before leaving. I highly recommend this company for tree removal.

JD and his crew did an excellent job removing two large trees from my yard. These trees were extremely hard to get to and one had several large limbs hanging over the house. My yard is on a hill which made these trees almost impossible to get to with large trucks but it was no problem for JD’s lift. His crew took extra care in removing the trees and in protecting my lawn. His crew also did a great job of cleaning up the yard too. JD was honest and his price was very reasonable. I will definitely be calling him again if I need any tree work done.

We had a large amount of trees (25+) topped to open up our view overlooking the city. JD and his crew did an excellent job. Friendly, hardworking, and professional. They were well equipped and experienced and made quick work of a very large job. Highly recommend!

JD provided excellent communication. Crew was focused on safety. They removed a 100+ yr old oak tree hanging over the house. Their equipment was superior to using a crane. I will use this company in the future and I highly recommend them to you!!
