ACW is very knowledgeable, and fair. They're our preferred electrician. They came out quickly and resolved our issue as quickly and as cost effectively as possible.

Great work- called them afterhours (past 5pm), left a voicemail and received a call back within 30 minutes to book me for the following day.

They worked me in first thing and got me squared away on a 6-20r 220v outlet.

Todd (owner) and Craig (superintendent/operations lead) showed up to look at the job and got us squared away.

James/Jordan came and completed the job.

They requested a broom to clean up the small mess and left our space in great shape.

    I’d recommend them.

I called a few of the bigger companies with great online reviews as well but this small business was quick to respond, showed up early and took care of us promptly,

    I will use them again

ACW was a subcontractor for Bret Slaton Homes during the remodel of our house after tree damage. When our contract with Bret Slaton ended abruptly, we had to hire a new electrical company to take over the permit and finish the work. Unfortunately, they not only had to complete the unfinished work, but also correct multiple mistakes and code violations left behind by ACW.
Among the problems discovered were live wires left behind inside the walls, code violations involving breakers, improperly located devices, and work that did not match the approved design plans. For example, AFCI breakers were required for final inspection on new circuits and on original circuits that had been modified beyond 6 feet with a new device added, yet several breakers installed by ACW had to be replaced in order to pass inspection.
We also found that a closet light switch had been tied into a bedroom AC outlet circuit, and a bathroom GFCI installed by ACW was placed too close to the sink faucet. When the new electrician relocated that device, they discovered ACW had left a hot wire behind the wall covered only with black electrical tape. Testing confirmed it was still live, which created a serious fire hazard.
Most of the electrical work in the laundry room had to be redone because ACW either missed or ignored the design plans showing where switches and ceiling lights were supposed to be located. In addition, there had been a city note during inspection requiring the smoke detectors to be checked before final inspection during the framing and prewiring, but ACW never prepared the house during framing when they ran new electrical cables for the interconnected detectors required by code. That oversight cost us significantly more money later because the installation had to be done after the walls were closed.
In total, we spent about $12,000 to fix work ACW had already been paid to do and to correct their mistakes. It is very concerning that a certified electrical company would perform work that failed to meet code and created issues that should have been obvious before final inspection. Based on our experience, I would not recommend ACW.
