Love this place, walked in immediately welcomed. Then noticed how organized everything is. Staff super helpful and friendly. Had some wire harnesses made while I waited. Couldn't ask for a better place in Anchorage to get all your wire and connector needs.

Polar wire has great super flexible wire, heat shrink, terminals, tools, marine wiring supplies, fuses, and so much more. Everything I go to Polar Aire I geek out a little and want to buy one of everything. Everything I've purchased there has been high quality and very reasonably priced.

The BEST jumper cables period. These cables will not let you down especially when it's -45 degrees Celsius. Amazing customer service by Russell. I have never ever seen this level of professionalism by any other company. They custom made me exactly the cables I wanted. They even give you a lifetime warranty. Way to go guys.

This place has great service. They made me new custom outboard motor battery cables while I waited. Yamaha wanted $180 for the manufacturers part while the polar wire equivalent was less than $50. The cable seemed better quality than the sample that came from my current motor. Picked up some high quality jumper cables while I was there as well (they make those too!)

I rarely do reviews, but I have to say the quality of the jumper cables I just got are excellent. really excited about my purchase having never touched them before, I was a bit nervous buying them online, but they are very high quality and I love how pliable the cable is. They fit easily in the bag, no origami required! Nicely done!

I came in with a pretty detailed issue regarding a 6 panel switch for my winter trike. This lady was beyond knowledgeable and set me up with a Marine grade panel board which was better quality than name brand switch boxes. Not knowing the proper nomenclature, the lady deciphered through my lack of knowledge and knew what I was needing and was patient. This is the type of customer service that makes you feel good spending your money and reassures you that you are getting a quality product.

I have just completed rewiring my fishing boat. I had used Polar Wire products on another boat project 10 years ago and found the wire totally superior to other products. For this project, I called and talked to Cristin who helped me order a dozen custom cables. I was amazed at the quality of the cables and the connectors. Cristin was awesome to work with and I'd recommend Polar Wire to anyone looking for high quality wire at great prices. Below are my before and after pictures.

People are helpful and nice...beware of a restocking fee for returns!!! 😤😡 I wasnt told about this and they're return policy is not on their receipts.

The staff is super friendly and very helpful. Their products are high quality and fairly priced. The hours of operation are not convenient...M-F 9-5. Adding some Saturday hours or even staying open a little later would be very helpful for those of us who cannot take off of work to go shopping.
