Kyle serviced our furnace on November 14. 2024. The unit is 10 years old but is in great shape. The service went fine. Kyle pointed out two improvements for us to consider. I like that he doesn't use any pressuring techniques to "upsale". Kyle is an excellent service tech. Thanks. DW

New service. Recently Kyle came and fixed my air handler. He was awesome troubleshooting and fixing my AC before it got to hot. I appreciate the amazing Midstate Refrig. service as always.

Every one of their techs has been incredibly friendly, helpful and thorough! These guys are truly amazing at explaining what they're doing and what needs to be done, if anything, and in a way that I can easily understand! The office does a great job of keeping maintenance schedule and are always friendly as well. They installed a whole new A/C unit and thermostat for me. I've called a few times when something didn't seem right and they didn't hesitate to come check it out even if it was something super minor. I will continue using them for all future needs!

Excellent customer service. I talked with Lynda who was very patient, informative and helpful setting up a maintenance agreement and scheduling maintenance on my HVAC system.

The gentlemen that came to assess my home the damaged duct work were kind and considerate. The techs sent to repair were polite, fast and very professional , going above and beyond to make sure my ducts inside my home and underneath the home were in good shape and installed new duct that pulled away under the home. I highly recommend them. My estimate was given prior to work done and 300 dollars cheaper than the given estimate.

Appointment changed for day before scheduled appointment. My house is nice and cool with the 90 degree weather outside. Both men worked as a team to service my A/C unit.

Mike, the technician was wonderful! He detailed and carefully inspected all the A/C equipment, he answered all my questions with patience , he explained beautifully and provided suggestions. I had the most grateful experience with Mike!! He is awesome!

These guys are seriously the best. They’ve come out 3 times now when my AC broke and every time was same day service. They are also honest and don’t try to fix things that aren’t broken. Very affordable. Highly recommend!

I have fought and fought with Richmond American homes on my AC install on my new built home and have gotten nowhere. They came out 6 times in the 2 year warranty coverage period and fixed nothing before finally blowing me off for good. I called Midstate to come out, assess my AC unit and service it. I called them on Thursday and they were out the next morning promptly at 8 am. Kyle was my technician. He took the time to explain all the engineering design flaws as well as the manual intervention flaws from Richmond. He showed me pictures, walked me through and explained everything in detail. I am so thankful I called these guys. They gave me full trust in them in the one visit. I started a service contact with them and now I have peace of mind that my AC will finally function as expected. I highly recommend these guys.

Michael Scott was more than just professional. He was very personable, listened to the customer, and solved a years-long issue. Very attentive to detail, too.

We first called Mid-State a couple of years ago on a neighbor's recommendation. They were prompt, transparent in their fees, and did a great job. When our old AC gave out in May 2023, we called Mid-State again. They were prompt, did a great job, and again - fully transparent in their fees and what they were doing. Even better, our electric bill dropped over $360 for the 12 months following the new AC unit, as compared to the previous 12 months.

I would absolutely recommend Mid-State for HVAC work. They're honest, do a good job, and -- unlike so many companies we've encountered in this part of the world -- are there when they say they'll be there.

Great customer service on the phone & the gal (can’t remember her name, sorry) was very helpful to find a tech that would come after hours during incredibly high temperatures because having no a/c was brutal! The technician, Eddie, was a very professional & kind young man, willing to educate me as a fairly new widow & old lady living alone for the first time. Prompt and complete follow through. I called in the morning and the gal on the phone was very courteous and made a few call and got me on their schedule. Later the same day, a tech showed up and listened to what I was experiencing. He knew exactly what needed to be done to solve my problem. Our issue was fixed in minutes. Tech then went on to do a complete inspection of our furnace. Tech McKinley did fantastic work and was professional with great informative communication. Highly recommend Mid State Refrigeration. Very pleased, great customer service beyond my expectations.

Always get a service person out to the property within a reasonable time so my tenant gets their AC working

After calling two other places and not getting a callback, my neighbor recommended Mid-State.
I had installed a mini split unit and I kinked one of the copper lines so I had to call for help. The scheduler was very helpful and their technician, Eddy, worked a very long day to fit me into the schedule, otherwise, I would have had to wait another week. He fixed the issue, vacuumed the system and recharged it. He explained what he was doing and I could tell that he wanted to make sure it was done correctly. Very good at what he does and he seemed like a really good person. This is definitely the company I will call next time I need hvac, again.
