These guys did exactly what they promised! I love my new edition to the back of my house. Marvin and his crew did wonders on my home!!

Mr. Marvin Cox and his crew, built a beautiful 25 ft X 12 ft bricked sunroom, with a wall of windows that is truly majestic in looks. We added a bricked wood burning fireplace, which Marvin’s crew did an excellent job on. The tiled floor is shiny and gorgeous! We drink our coffee out there every morning, and look at the stars at night! Marvin, you made our retirement that much nicer! We highly recommend Mr. Cox, to build you a sunroom! You won’t be disappointed in his obsession for detail and making it perfect!!!

I am so pleased with the work and follow-up that both Marvin Jr and Marvin Sr have done on the insulated sunroom we added to our home that I am compelled to write a review (something I rarely do).

Marvin Jr came in and evaluated the area we wanted to add the sunroom, answered all our questions, gave us a fair estimate, and completed the job as promised. It looks great and has added so much more heated and cooled living space to our home! We love it!

However, we ran into an issue not long after he installed it (about 2 years ago); a small but persistent leak started where the sunroom roof met our home's existing roof. He promised when he initially consulted us on getting this built that the sunroom would not leak and when I informed him of what was going on, he made sure to live up to that promise!

Over the next year and a half, he or someone on his team would come over and try to figure out where the leak was coming from to no avail, but they kept trying to figure out how to fix it (new flashing, new shingles, etc). After getting some advice from a roofer friend of mine and sharing that with him, Marvin came over and put ice shield over the seam and it hasn't leaked since! Using this kind of material was not something in our original agreement and Marvin could have said this was our home's roof problem, not his work, but he went the extra mile and made sure to fix it.

I don't know too many contractors at all that would stick with you on problematic issues like this, but Cox Construction did. I know he was probably frustrated with it and I'm sure they spent more on labor and material trying to fix the issue than they made on the initial install! But they kept giving great customer service until it was fixed, so I wanted to make sure and give them a great review.

And something else they did recently, the digital panel on the GE heat and air unit they installed in the sunroom went out and Marvin Sr contacted and arranged for GE to come out and fix it under warranty, no charge at all! This is not something he had to do (he could have directed me to contact GE myself and figured out how to get them to come out), but he volunteered to get it taken care of.

Fantastic people to work with!!

They replaced $40,000 dollars worth of storm damaged glass in my four seasons sun room , they did a very good job, fast, and helped communicate with the insurance company to help me get my home fix. I’m a very happy customer!!

They come to get measurements for quotes but never received quotes even after asking about it 2 times.
