Professional crew!! They did a great job installing a Tesla charger. The home charger was installed, registered and synced up to my WiFi within hours.

Showed up and got the job done! And explained everything.

Professional, knew a lot about electrical and was honest about what services we needed. They didn't try to sell us stuff that we really didn't need. Definitely using them in the future.

I just had an overhead oven fan and light go out. I was picturing an ordeal of getting up into the attic, which I know Dave can do, because he's done a lot of much bigger jobs. Anyway, he came out an in 5 minutes he had located a minor issue and fixed it. Another electrician might have looked at the obvious stuff and then dug into an expensive fix; but Dave did extra investigation (on his time) and fixed it.

I would recommend him to anyone- anytime.

We recently moved to Aptos, and we have several items on our punch list. We needed an electrician, so we asked our realtor for a recommendation. We called her guy but did not hear from him for a week.

We searched the internet and discovered Direct Electric. They had 85 5-star reviews on Yelp. Dave, the owner, answered my initial call and we scheduled him to look at the job. He arrived at the promised time, giving us a heads up when he was on his way to our home. We wanted to move two bathroom GFI outlets and install power for a new fireplace insert. Dave looked at the job and told us that each bathroom should be on a separate circuit. He also looked at the fireplace and described in detail what he would do. He gave a written estimate on the spot and said the job would take him and his partner Joe 1/2 day. We signed the estimate and scheduled the work in two days around 8:00 am. On the expected job day, he called at 8 to say he was 10 minutes away.

Dave and Joe worked non-stop for 3 1/2 hours. Parts of the job required two people while the others were one-person jobs. They worked as an experienced team. The fireplace required unique wiring, so they made an outside trip to get the necessary parts. Dave and Joe completed all three tasks without any issues.

They did a professional, meticulous job. Dave is a talented electrician, an excellent communicator and customer focussed. Direct Electric is a two-person company that performs like a larger company. We plan to use Direct Electric for future electrical work.

Dave is AWESOME......Couldn't get power to a few boxes in the garage and our outside lights weren't working either.....Dave came over and fixed the problem in 5 minutes.....Then he said he wouldn't charge me!!! But I did ask for a quote for some other work and I'm sure I'll hire him.

Prompt (even on a stormy day), courteous, professional...not in a rush to get in and out. David does not charge a house-call fee or have a time limit before more fees kick in. Even though our repairs were not major, he quoted cost for materials and described repair in writing so no surprises. He did not charge us for his first visit which was simply a flip-of-the-switch, which we could not get to hold. Consequently,we promised to call him the next time we had a need. I like that he offered options and recommendations. Appreciated the quality of work and clean-up after all said and done. Yay...we found our electrician!

Dave and Sonny were responsive and pleasant from the first phone call. They game me a same-day appointment and although they came a little out of the appointment window they initially told me about, I did receive a phone call from Dave prior to the appointment window closing with an explanation and updated time of arrival. They diagnosed my problem quickly and thoroughly, provided estimates of cost and then completed the task. I will call of them again for any electrical problem I encounter.

After another electrician told us it would be a full week before they could come out to help, I was thrilled to hear that Direct could come out same-day. And when they arrived, they fixed my problem so quickly!
Not that i look forward to having electrical problems in the future, but i will 100% call Direct next time.

These guys are great ! I grew up in a family of electricians, so I know a little bit and usually take care of stuff on my own. I hit a problem with a circuit recently where I knew I was going to need help. Having scoured the local websites and reviews, I came up with a top-3 of whom to call. Direct Electric were at the top of that list and the first call I made. I'm glad I did. Dave and his team were able to identify and solve the problem quickly, efficiently, cleanly, and at a fair price. Communication and scheduling could not have been easier. Dave is awesome! We had an outlet that was acting up. Contacted him Sunday and he came Tuesday. Scheduling was easy and he arrived near the front end of the two hour time window. He came, diagnosed the issue quickly and had everything repaired within an hour. He is very professional and easy to work with. I highly recommend Direct Electric ~ thank you Dave!

Dave has always been exceptional, honest, and our go to. He comes out and will take a look at what’s going on and give you an estimate or check it out for you and let you know if anything needs to be done or not. He’s always been available when needed and is truly a nice guy. We trust him with any work we would need done on our older mobile home and are grateful to have him in our area. Great electrician! Direct Electric did a fantastic job installing recessed electrical service to a flush-mount television. They were prompt, courteous, professional, and reasonably priced. The job was far more complicated than expected, but they handled the obstacles like pros. I highly recommend Direct Electric!

I hired the folks at Direct Electric to install a couple outlets in a bathroom, as well as an EV charger. I can't overstate how perfect this service was – they have easily been the most predictable, efficient, and skilled workers we've had the pleasure of working with.

They came up with a creative way to run an electrical line, for the bathroom outlets, and perfectly executed the permitting process and installation of the EV charger. They even tidied up the wires and installed some safety guards.

I will absolutely be using them in the future for my electrical needs. Thank you again!!
