Service was quick (less than 24 hours after I contacted them) & excellent; the price was right; the technician, Joe, pleasant & extremely competent (my house is old as are the electrical installations), &, delightfully, they have four-legged office assistants (Brody the chocolate lab, Dottie the cat, a poodle & a bird)! Randy Rankin & the staff are simply the best.

I have been searching for years for a reliable electrical service for my small home jobs - things like replacing ceiling fans and outdated light fixtures, putting in new outlets, etc. I had a disastrous experience with a local company about 6 months ago and decided to just give up. After checking online I saw that Rankin Electric had received rave reviews and consistent 5 star ratings. I called for an appointment and the gentleman who answered the phone could not have been more helpful and pleasant. I needed an outside wall light fixture by my garage door replaced for safety reasons and he sent someone out the same day - in the rain! The electrician arrived on time, was very courteous, explained exactly what he was going to do and 10 minutes later it was done. The fee was very fair. He told me to compile a list of projects and he would be very happy to come back and take care of everything in one day. All in all a very pleasant, stress free experience and I've found my new electrician! I can highly recommend Rankin Electric!

Yesterday (2-23-17), I called Randy with a problem that needed trouble shooting. Luckily, Daniel was in the area, and within 30 minutes, he showed up and had the two problems resolved in 15 minutes. I have used Rankin Electric for the past two years, and I've been very happy with the results. The techs are very professional and knowledgable. I highly recommend Rankin Electric for any electrical needs.

I had an emergency repair that needed to be taken care of immediately. Rankin Electric came out and took care of the problem in no time at all. The technician was extremely knowledgeable and very professional and explained the situation every step of the way. The technician used his time very effectively and efficiently to get the job done. They went out of their way to find the parts that I needed. They also made sure that everything was in safe working order and that all of my concerns were acknowledged and addressed before they left. Rankin had done some previous work for my daughter and me at a rental home we just purchased. I had been having a problem with a portable heater cutting off the electric, so I needed to know if it was a breaker or outlet issue. I called Rankin on Monday morning. My appointment was made for Tuesday between the hours of 8 and 12. Daniel arrived at approximately 9 o'clock. I appreciated his honest approach in assessing and resolving the issue in a timely manner. The cost of installing another outlet, so I could utilize my patio for cooking was very reasonable. He did it quickly and did not make a mess at getting the job done. I would definitely recommend Rankin Electric.

I highly recommend Rankin Electric. I had several issues around my house that I thought would take an entire day to fix. When I called on a Monday to set up an appointment not only was I treated Very well, but they also worked with my schedule. Brian B was our electrician who showed up on time and was extremely polite. He was able to
tell me everything that he was doing and what I needed. He finished everything faster than expected and even offered recommendations for future work. Again, I would highly recommend Rakin Electric and specifically, Brian.

From the first phone conversation until I called to pay the bill, the experience was wonderful. Very satisfied with my experience! Rankin was highly recommended and deservedly so. I don't have a lot of experience hiring electricians, so I asked my mother's building manager who they use. So happy I asked. Rankin shows up when they say they're coming, their hourly rate is fair, their technicians work fast, and they clean up after themselves! The office staff is always knowledgeable and helpful. Rankin has installed ceiling fans, switches, outdoor lighting, and installed an outdoor outlet for our sprinkler system. They also fixed an ongoing electrical problem at my office two other electricians couldn't solve.

Daniel came out and took care of everything with decisive judgement from years of experience. I've had multiple electricians out over the years and they've all been clowns. Daniel was able to troubleshoot the problem in about 10-15 minutes for each one making him an effective tradesman and craftsman. Whether it be crossed wires from a previous Beavis electricians or from the our resident widow's late husband doing the best he could after many strokes. He fixed it all and at a very fair price. You get what you pay for and when you get excellent service at market value that is a steal in my book. If you're having any electrical problems call Rankin and just be polite, patient, and open minded and you'll get that in return.

Rankin has made every repair, improvement, new install, renovation that has worked seamlessly in our home. Always a fair price. Always done to perfection.

- Update, I recently used Rankin again for some electrical troubleshooting. Once again, Rankin helped me out tremendously. Very professional and very knowledgeable. I received next day service and am very satisfied with the work I had done. Julian was polite, professional, and honest with me. He took time to listen to my concerns and went beyond to replace all my very old smoke detectors, new breaker in panel box, got my family room lights in working order, and tried to get my jacuzzi tub back in operation.

The dispatcher is friendly and tries to get us the help we need as soon as someone is available. We have lots of need of Rankin's experienced electricians at church. Some light or timer is always needing care. They keep our lights on. The prices are reasonable and the work is outstanding. If there is a problem, they come back out until it's done to everyone's satisfaction.
