Great company to work with

Very professional and cost effective. Completed everything on time best quality work

George did a great job replacing drywall and adding new windows. He had one of the most competitive quotes for the work. Highly recommended!

I highly recommend Tinka Construction. I saw how they transformed a rundown garage into a lovely one-bedroom apartment with all that it needs. And I think the price was fair, very much worth the quality work done. When I look at the new apartment, I find it hard to believe what was there before!!

George and the Tinka Crew came through with flying colors for our recent kitchen remodel. Professional business acumen coupled with superb craftsmanship provide a great experience and beautiful remodel. Highly recommend.

My project was to create a walk-in shower. George and his team did an absolutely beautiful job. George understood exactly what I wanted and each member of his group worked extremely hard with care, and attention to detail. The end result exceeded my expectations.

George was an absolute pleasure to work with. I had a very tight deadline which we were able to meet. Everything was documented and planned perfectly. I was involved in the purchasing material process to avoid any misunderstandings. I would recommend Tinka Construction to anyone looking to remodel their home.

George remodeled my two bathrooms and installed hardwood floor in my condo and helped with permits. I would highly recommend his team! He was very communicative with anything that is going well or taking longer than expected. There were no surprises, he is very transparent in the process. He will make what you are looking to do in construction come true and with ease.

I used Tinka to replace some exterior trim, a door, and paint the outside of my house. They came in with the lowest quote. The only extra that I paid was for items that I added on later. They were very thorough in the prep - filling cracks and holes, cleaning, scraping loose paint, etc. Everything was done very nicely. My house looks so good now. George and his guys were very nice and easy to work with. I would definitely use Tinka again and would recommend them.

George came by to put a wall up in my home. It was complicated since there was an arch at the top (and it was previously a doorway to another room).

He and his team finished the job extremely quickly! It only took 3 hours one morning (while I worked from home) and it was a wonderful job. The wall looks great. George had pre-cut the pieces and everything was ready to go.

George is super nice and friendly, and was really direct in explaining what they needed to do. He also asked me exactly what kind of wall I wanted (and if I wanted it to be painted, etc) and was great at providing advice.

I would definitely work with them again!!!

I highly recommend Tinka Construction. George was pleasant and easy to deal with and his workers were very professional too.

The contract was to install new siding. Dry rots and termites were discovered when the old ones were removed that require some new stud and frame replacement. Both windows had to be taken out and installed back. The internal drywall was torn down due to water damage. Garage door frame was also replaced. Everything came out beautiful when it was all done.

George Catalin and his crew at Tinka Construction saved our bathroom renovation!

We started the upstairs bathroom renovation summer of 2019 with a different contractor who was referred to us by a friend. We trusted this person who took our money and didn't deliver. He was using our bathroom as his first bathroom renovation.

After months of a gutted non-functioning bathroom, we fired Vic and got estimates from several contractors to remodel the existing bathtub setup to a new modern bathroom containing a shower with floor to ceiling tiles, glass enclosed doors, modern fixtures, tile on one side of bathroom wall, tile flooring, new window, new door, new canned lights, paint, install vanity, etc.

The contractor estimates were all over the board ranging from $10K to $35K and some of them didn't know what they were doing judging by what was said and written during the estimate process.

We chose George and Tinka Construction because he was honest,
professional, on time, pleasant, easy going, provided an estimate that was fair (not too cheap and not too expensive).

George was the only contractor that suggested changing the shower head and faucet to the other end of the wall since the current placement was under a window and could not be raised higher to accommodate the new shower head. George also stated there was a need for a new electric panel for the additional canned lights per legal requirements.

Tinka Construction provided a written contract detailing the bathroom renovation tasks and costs with a payment schedule prior to start of the remodeling.

We were willing to wait until the new year 2020 when George and his crew at Tinka Construction were available to do the bathroom remodel that started in mid-February 2020.

The remodel was going well until COVID-19. Then remodeling and everything stopped. We had to wait for completion with final inspection in June 2020.

Throughout this long drawn out process, we have appreciated
George's honesty, advice (given nicely and never pushy), knowledge, professionalism, timeliness, attention to details, and craftsmanship. George kept to the renovation schedule as best as he could under COVID-19 conditions.

Now the bathroom is stunning. We get many compliments on how beautiful the bathroom looks and how it feels like a high-end luxury bathroom in a 5 star hotel.

Tinka Construction provided premium high end quality work and all their crew from electrician, plumbers, painters, etc. were courtesy, on-time, clean, and did the best work.

Tinka Construction patiently answered all our questions, worked on our design vision, and they willingly came back and fixed any issues until we the customers were totally satisfied.

We recommend Tinka Construction for your construction needs and we plan to use Tinka Construction again! We have already recommended George and Tinka Construction to our neighbors, friends and family. Keep in mind Tinka Construction is always busy because George and his crew are that good so be patient and George will work with you, your budget, and your schedule.

Very satisfied happy customers! THANK YOU George!

George and his crew were fantastic. I recently relocated from the East Coast to San Francisco and a friend of mine recommend George for some renovations in my condo.
When I contacted him he got back to me right away and scheduled a time to see my new place.
George knocked down a wall in the master bedroom, repainted everything and changed the baseboards. He went above and beyond to meet my deadline (my furniture was scheduled to arrive only a few days laterand exceeded all my expectations. The bedroom looks really nice now.
I highly recommend him!

Tinka Construction remodeled our bathroom, and did a great job. George was really helpful in suggesting places to get tiles, and other accessories needed. He also had good suggestions about finishing touches. They showed up on time and finished the job in a timely manner.

I worked with George on an extensive remodeling of 2 units that spanned a year and a half. The scope of our work included kitchen & bath remodeling, flooring, painting, and structural work. George and his guys are always very friendly, helpful, and solution-oriented. I look forward to working with George and his team on more projects in the future.

Several months ago, I contacted George for a bid on a new property that I purchased. George was extremely responsive, set up an appointment to come by, showed up on time, and gave a thorough, detailed bid. Though we didn’t end up moving forward with George’s bid, I strongly appreciate his attention to detail and responsiveness. The photos he provided in the bid also helped clearly illustrate the work plan that he had in mind. I would absolutely reach out to George again when exploring a new project. Thank you George!

We hired George/Tinka construction to complete a shower. The area had dry wall, a shower bed & pipes behind a wall but no tile or water sealer. George is completely professional, friendly, and a pleasure to work with. He has a team of guys that show up on time, clean up after themselves & do beautiful work.
The plumber, tile guys, & electrician were all skilled & cheerful. I drew crazy diagrams for my tile placement & they followed my plan completely.
I highly recommend Tinka. We are very happy with the job & now have a beautiful shower with a whisper quiet fan & a Grohe rain shower with spray nozzle. Recommended by George & spot on.

George and his crew of plumbers, electricians, glass and window experts did a great job on our bathroom remodel. We had a fairly extensive remodel (6 weeks in total), where all the plumbing and electrical was changed around in order to accommodate a tub and double vanity (where we orig. had just a single sink and shower stall). George was on top of pulling City permits and scheduling all of the inspections.

My wife and I had 3 contractors bid on the project and felt that George had the most reasonable price and also responded in the most timely manner. The project was never left sitting; there was someone working on the bathroom in some way every single day. That was important to me as I know some contractors are so busy they will leave smaller projects hanging. He also went above and beyond the scope by making sure the floors were level and adding a niche to the shower wall without charging us extra for it. He clearly cares about his work.

George and crew also came back a couple months later to remedy some small unforeseen issues that arose after the bathroom remodel. Professionalism much appreciated!

We couldn't be more pleased with the results of our bathroom remodel with Tinka Construction. The people George brought in were friendly, professional, and did excellent work. We mostly designed it ourselves, and tweaked a few things with their expert advice. They weren't pushy in the advice, just speaking from experience, and listening to them paid off. George is very chill, and ultimately the work he accomplished left us with a gorgeous space. We might just hang out in there all quarantine.

George and his team were amazing. From the moment we met George and his team, we knew that we could trust them. They were very professional and we were very satisfied with their quality of work. Even though our project wasn't very big, George and his team took the time to listen to us. He was very good at explaining the entire scope of work to us. Because we were so pleased with the work, we decided to do an additional project with him (kitchen remodel)! I would recommend Tinka Construction for any construction project you might have!!!

After purchasing the house, I needed to remodel my kitchen and dining area, and Tinka construction with George gave us a very competitive price with even better ideas how we should do it than we had in mind. He and his team was so attentive to each request and working so professionally. Before doing something George will always run the changes to us for our approval! With the little space for dining area that was available, they made it look so big and spacious with just turning a window into a sliding doors that was going to our porch! He also helped with choosing the cabinets and giving great recommendations for which appliances to get.
We are very pleased with their professionalism and knowledge. Will highly recommend to all my friends who live in the area!
P.S. Have to mention that they also finished everything in the time frame George game me at our first meeting!
