Ruddy and his team are very professional. My AC Guy installed a new central system about 2 months ago at my home. My home is going through a major remodel from the close of escrow.
Main Points
1. They had to go through 2 inspections (City and State) and both provided good feedback on their work quality.
2. My house was not done and Ruddy let me know to call him back to install the vents when the ceilings were complete. He came back almost 2 months later to install them without an extra charge
3. Price was not the cheapest nor the highest but would use them again. Quality work is hard to come by.
I cannot say that for some of the contractors work on my remodel.

My AC Guy exceeded our expectations. We had dual units fail. We ask the other potential repairman if they could at least get one going until we replacement both. My AC Guy did that when initially came out for an estimate. We was impressed with his candor and options but was concerned about his previous reviews. He didn't disappoint us. We purchased the equipment,. He picked up and installed both units in one day. The price was right and service was better. I would give six stars if I could. He's based in Chino and drove an hour to San jacinto to give us an estimate.

Had my AC go out and called My AC Guy. The tech showed up on time, didn't try to upsell me on a bunch of stuff I didn't need, and actually walked me through what the problem was. Fixed it same day.

What I appreciated most was the honesty. I've dealt with other companies in the area that tried to tell me I needed a whole new unit. These guys told me straight up it was a simple repair and had it running within the hour. Pricing was fair and they didn't leave a mess. Definitely keeping their number saved.

today is feb 6th 2020 and since november of 2019 they haven't completed my ac replacement work, they will come at their lease one day then will disappear now they have collected more then 80% of contract money they won't even come or response it is getting very frustrating...

Ruddy fixed our AC perfectly, although he never finished the job. All he did was fix our ventilation system and left. We payed him a lot, and he never came back.

Beware. Excellent job setting up our mini split AC unit but it stopped working 4 months after intallation. I called several times and after telling him our issue he said he was too busy to stop by and fix it. It's been two weeks since he told us that and I tried calling today and no answer.

We had worked with Ruddy about two years ago and we had no trouble with the work so we decided to call him again. He worked the first day and we paid one third of the amount due. He then asked for more money after the second day. He hadn’t finished much more but stated he would return the next day with help to finish. Since we believed we could trust him, we paid him another third of what was due. The next day he didn’t show up and wouldn’t answer his phone. After multiple calls and messages, he said he would return the following week. Again, no show, and didn’t answer our calls. He finally responded, said for sure we could expect him on Tuesday. He didn’t show up and his phone was off all day. It is now Wednesday night and no response from him. We’ve accepted that he robbed us and now we have to pay someone else for a complete install. We hope this doesn’t happen to anyone else, which is why he had to write this review.

WARNING - My AC Guy is more like High Robbery Guy!! ! Ruddy Brown will take your money and you will never see him again. I paid him over $3,500 to install 2 units for my offices. He removed my old unit, I paid him the down payment and never saw him again. He contractor's license is suspended for failure to comply with an outstanding civil judgement. Shame on me for not checking before I hired him. Don't let this happen to you. Be Aware of the name RUDDY BROWN!!!!

DO NOT give Ruddy any of your money, unless you want to never see him again and still be stuck "missing a part" for your A/C and being left with your calls ignored.

My poor grandparents had Ruddy come out to their house to check out their air conditioning unit. He asked for over $1K upfront to order a part apparently needed to fix the unit. He even had the audacity to say there was a cash discount. Lo and behold, Ruddy never showed up again. My grandparents called numerous times, daily over the span of two weeks, and never heard back. His voicemail is full and the one time he answered, he said he'd send one of his guys out on a Tuesday. Well - they never came.

This man is a FULL BLOWN SCAM and judging from the rest of these reviews, he is playing the same game across LA. How do you sleep at night, Ruddy?

July 2024 Ruddy and team installed a minisplit but did not completely finish. They still needed to clean up the drain lines and such with a cover and was going to come back to finish. I also put a down payment on a hvac unit to be installed. It is now Nov 2024. Ruddy does not communicate, has no-showed 3 times, does not call back or respond. Reporting this to the board.
