For the first time since I’ve lived in my home, I weathered this week‘s storms with high winds and rain worry free! After years of randomly pruning my Stone Pine and Maple, I knew it was time to get an arborist‘s opinion - large limbs were hanging precariously over my neighbor‘s roof and small branches were suddenly dropping. When Davey’s Arborist Adam Jensen came from the SF Office, he put me at ease. He listened to my concerns, assessed the health of the trees and shared a thorough care plan - including deep root feeding and limb removal. The estimate was clearly itemized and Adam checked back to answer any questions. On the day of work, Adam’s team arrived on time, performed work safely, were professional and super talented. They used a ‘bucket’ truck to access limbs over my neighbors roof, cleaned up thoroughly and finished early. I also was pleasantly surprised I could pay with the convenience of a credit card and payment was not due until I received my invoice. I never imagined what a difference it makes to have my trees cared for in the hands of certified / well trained professionals - who love trees as much as I do. I am confident my trees are standing tall and proud, thanks to Davey’s. You earned my trust and loyalty.

I can always count on them to properly care for all my trees' needs at least twice a year which includes pruning & fertilizing of nearly a dozen well matured trees. I've used this Davey location for five different tree removal projects over 13 years (multiple trees each project). The projects were technically very challenging--steep slopes, large trees, extremely restricted access routes, and power lines. In each case, I got quotes from other well respected firms. Davey's quote was always competitive and their work was ranged from very good to sensational (consistently excellent). Each round, the work was completed in a more sophisticated manner (their use of knuckle boom crane between our house and overhead utility lines was amazing). The crews have always been great to work with. I'm hard pressed to think of another contractor that has impressed us more.

Ruben and his crew were wonderful. Not only were they competent and skillful, but they were also friendly and very conscientious. They took care of all my trees and left my yard much tidier than how they found it. They are terrific and i hope they will help me in the future.

Awesome customer service and expert tree trimmers. We had them crown, prune, and clean up the massive eucalyptus and cypress oak trees in the creek behind our building in San Carlos. Stephen Howard, a tree specialist and true professional, came out several times to assess the situation and make sure we were all clear on exactly what needed to be done to take the weight off of the trees and make the area safer for the surrounding homes and buildings. He also met us at the site when the job was in progress to answer any questions we had and to make sure we were happy with their work. With Davey’s Tree Company you know you are in excellent hands with competent people who care about their work. We highly recommend them to everyone, and especially to those with homes and businesses that align Cordilleras Creek in San Carlos and Redwood City, when using tree experts is imperative.

Davey Tree company was excellent in service, responsiveness and logistics. Cal, the foreperson, was very friendly, helpful and answered any questions and concerns. The tree-cutting crew, led by Luis, were very organized and thorough in their great work and cleanup. We has a large, overgrown Monterrey pine tree which was a complicated job, but the Davey Tree crew completed it in a very efficient and timely manner. Kudos to Angelina and Makayla in the front office for their assistance and communications.

Dylan orchestrated a flawless job for us. He got there early, moved all the cars and other items that were blocking the area around the tree. The actual work was done quickly and without needing me to oversee. It went smoothly and quietly. And the cleanup was superb. Thank you guys

Davey has been my arborist of choice for more than 20 years now. They are knowledgeable and help make sure my large trees are healthy.

Our small but crucial initial-job -- disentangling a favorite tree from our power wires -- was performed with excellence by Jose & Mike, under Dylan's patient management -- good team, coordinating busy schedules & street access & finding parking-places, in crowded central San Francisco, quite a feat. I watched enviously as Mike smoothly climbed our tree and re-landed safely, something I once did but can do no more, got us out of a pickle in high winds here. Very professional, and many thanks.

Abel, Carlos and Nick were very professional and were on time and cleaned up the yard very nicely.

He just finished this year's job, and I am very happy with the work. He understands trees and the differing needs. I know I can walk away and have confidence.

Davey Tree did a good job on cutting back branches that were touching our neighbor's roof and our roof. They were willing to go back up and cut more off a branch our neighbor didn't feel was far enough away. The arborist, Katelyn, was available for consultations rapidly, and checked up on the crew after the job.

Davey Tree cut down a Heritage Tree next to my house a week ago. They were totally amazing in every way! Luis, Tobias, Alfredo & Fidel. They worked so precisely together it almost seemed choreographed! A beautiful ballet! They were very quiet, quick, efficient and impressive! I will definitely recommend them and use them again myself. Watching them work, handling those huge pieces of tree as though they were little sticks! Never anything out of control! Even loading the larger pieces into the back of the truck, two of them were impressively aligned to each other. Two others did chipping and sweeping and kept everything moving quickly and smoothly and very, very tidy.

Beyond all that, I spoke at length several times with Luis who showed such kindness, empathy and pleasure at sharing information with me; it felt wonderful to have someone really listening and genuinely wanting to help me in any way he could. (Thanks, Luis; I heard that the base is up at the cemetery like we discussed. It's wonderful that you followed through on that right away). When I spoke with any of the other guys, they were very kind and sent me right away to Luis.

Today, I spoke with Adam in the office and he was great too and I know he'll be able to help me with my next plans. Good listener!

From the consultation to the end result, the arborists, supervisor and the trimmers were very friendly, knowledgeable and worked diligently to contour the trees to my liking.I am so pleased that I hired Davey to do the work. Excellent work by Davey to trim the Japanese Maples and Oak around my house. It started with Kenny putting together a proposal and patiently answering some questions I had. Abel, Stephen, and Alfredo were very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. The trees look beautiful now and healthy.

Davey’s tree care did a great job in our yard. Kenny took a lot of time going thru our yard and really listening to our needs. And the team that did the pruning, the foreman Abel and his co workers Carlos and Alfredo, were conscientious, knowledgeable, careful and friendly.
