I've known the owners of this company a long time. I knew that I could trust this company to do a fantastic job on fixing-up my house. That gave me a lot comfort throughout the construction process.
I am very happy with with the excellent quality of work, efficient/timely workflow, and attention to detail. I happily would hire them again!

Jesse and Josh are great to work with. They built a beautiful addition on my house in Danville. They finished the project on time with no issues. I highly recommend.

You’re not gonna find a better Framer. Believe me, I tried! Christiansen Brothers is by far the most knowledgeable, responsive, and capable Framing company. I had the pleasure of working with in my 10 years, running a general contracting business. They are extremely approachable and have the knowledge to workshop detail details or follow a plan exactly. Can’t recommend high enough.

We had a great experience with CBC and we can highly recommend their work. They completed a full kitchen/dining room addition plus other remodeling work in the living room of our home. Chris was a fantastic project manager/superintendent - he kept us informed and was always looking for ways to make things work smoothly. Julie was a dream to work with as well.

Great people and great customer service. They built a beautiful project and it ran smoothly and on time. A few things had to be revisited ( nothing in construction is perfect) but they showed up immediately and stood behind their work and their subs work. Highly recommend them, the superintendent is wonderful.

The Christensen Brothers are top notch. They have so much experience and pay attention to every detail. They are not happy unless their customers are happy. I would highly recommend working with them for any project from ADUs to full custom builds.

I had CBC do 2 projects for me. The first was framing a standalone studio/in-law unit. Years later, the second was a large new home build (5,200sq.ft.). For the 1st project, their bid was competitive but I mainly hired them for 2 reasons: they seemed like people who I could work with if situations came up, and they also came across as very experienced and knowledgeable (confident). The project went great (on time, met expectations) and the quality was definitely a cut above others. I had done some remodeling myself, and also worked for contractors when I was younger, so I am able to see when corners are cut. CBC did none of that. It really did feel like they were building it for themselves. That made me decide to hire them for the new home build, obviously a magnitude more complex that the studio/in-law unit. I had the same experience here. They built the home with top-quality, were easy to work with through changes/problems, and finished in the timeframe expected other than a few week delay due to heavy rains. One aspect that I appreciated was the subcontractors which CBC used. I would say that 80% were excellent, and the other 20% were real good. None were average or lower. I specifically thought that the foundation, roofing, and HVAC subcontractors were the top of the top, I could not imagine anyone doing the work any better. On an ending note, I’ll say that within a year before/after our home build project, there were 4 other new-build/remodel projects going on my street for some reason. Two of those went into lawsuit issues between the owners and builder. With CBC, I knew that this was not a possibility, I could sleep at night not worrying about nightmare scenarios. I can't vouch for these guys any more than I have, they are the best.

Jesse and Josh provided an essential service on a project. We were in the beginning process of building an ADU, but I needed help. They stepped in and framed the entire addition. I was originally concerned about the interface, because some of the project had been completed and the plan drawings that I had drawn up were far from perfect. They came in and seamlessly took over and completed the building structure. In every small detail their work was an upgrade to the requirements. The work proceeded quickly and in an organized manner. I consider myself very lucky to have had the brothers and their very qualified crew on the job.

Christensen Brothers Builders are excellent. I’ve worked with them several times both own my own projects and for clients, and they’ve been consistently great. They’re professional, easy to work with, and very experienced.

Their prices are competitive, they show up when they say they will, and the quality of their work is always solid. They’re also friendly and good at explaining what’s going on so clients feel comfortable with the process.

It can be hard to find trustworthy contractors, but these guys are really solid. Highly recommend!

I was admittedly nervous stepping into my first major home remodel, but from start to finish, my experience with CBC was terrific. This was our first experience with home remodeling and I was terrified. I thought, "lots of money, constant oversight, disregarded timetables." None of this happened with CBC - Jesse, Josh, Chris, Julie and the many excellent subcontractors they work with transformed my house under budget and in less time than they initially predicted. The work is top notch - lots of attention to detail, the work areas were always left super-clean, information consistently well communicated, work was fast and efficient.

One of the things I appreciated most was that Jesse would recommend things - extra insulation, a board placement, a design element or a structural consideration - that let me know he was treating my house like his own house. In the end, these suggestions turned out to make all the difference. The team worked seamlessly with my designer and indeed were almost like another team of designers to bring beauty and excellence to the house.

The quality of the work is outstanding. We remodeled the kitchen, dining room, family room, hallway and entryway. The only bad thing is that the work ended and I don't get to hang with Jesse and Julie and Chris everyday anymore. If you are looking for a company with integrity and honesty that also knows what they are doing and can produce skilled craftsmanship, you have found the right company.

After many projects under our belt we brought Christensen Brothers in to work on a Lafayette remodel. The attention to detail, professionalism and speed to work was unparalleled. We highly recommend the team for any project big or small.

We have worked with Christensen Brothers for 3 projects. They are amazingly easy to work with. They did an office room addition. Great framing job with top notch wood and they made it match our house to look like it was part of the original house. Next project was a huge kitchen remodel. We knocked down walls, lowered a ceiling and lowered a floor to make our house 1 level. Original house was built by Shapell and had an elevated kitchen and dining room. Hazard!! Our house is built on a tension slab so this was not easy but Jesse and his team did it effortlessly. We had to join our second sink and dishwasher plumbing to existing and had to go through the tension slab. No problem!!
Our 3rd project was the remodel of bathrooms. Perfect, again, and we changed the layout and made more storage.
Our house is all updated and we miss the Christensen Brothers Crew. I never used a designer because Julie who is 1 of the project managers helped me through the whole design process. She is great!! Chris is another project manager who is easy to work with. The crew and subcontractors were always polite and on time. All projects came within budget and were on time. Christensen Brother’s worked around our life happenings which included parents passing etc. For many decisions, I was not even in town but we handled them over FaceTime or phonecall. Amazing people to work with.
