Great job cutting my trees in Berkeley!

They did a really good job.

Jose Arnold Rivas and his team removed three large eucalyptus trees from our yard. They were professional and friendly

Great people and great Service! We highly recommend Rivas Tree service…. They did a fantastic job on our trees!!!

Great company took out 3 trees for me and cleaned up everything really nicely and very easy to work with would recommend to anybody who needs tree work done

Jose & his crew were amazing. 10/10 recommend. They were kind, quick, efficient, & very professional with very great rates!

Arnol and his crew were awesome! I had a tree in my backyard that I wanted an arborist's opinion on. Arnol came the same day to look at it and give me a quote. He also took care of a dying tree in my front yard. I highly recommend Arnol and his crew!

Beautiful and professional work. I appreciate the time devoted to learning what I wanted and the effort taken to make my yard look great. Very knowledgeable and hardworking.

Wow, Jose and crew went above and beyond! Great service and quality:)
I cannot recommend Rivas more highly.

Not service related but I was broken down due to a tire blow out on the side of a very tight/bad spot of highway 680 during rush hour commute. A truck driven by employees of Rivas Tree Service pulled in with their hazards and safely offered to assist me with my vehicle. I had already dialed freeway patrol for the assistance which was only a few more minutes away, but these guys took time out of their commute and clearly after a long day of work to help out a stranded motorist. An action like this says so much about their ethics and positive personalities. Out of the hundreds if not thousands of people who passed me, they were the only ones who offered to help. I didn’t get their names but I truly appreciate the gesture and willingness. Thank you.

In 40 years of living in Berkeley we have never had a more capable tree trimmer than Jose and Rivas Services. Jose has a great eye for what to do and managed to climb two large trees, a Monterey Pine and an Oak, to attentively reshape and trim them back. He did so with great dexterity. I couldn't say enough about this skilled craftsman and his pricing is very reasonable.

We highly recommend Rivas Tree Services. We have used them twice to clean and cut large trees and palm trees in our backyard. They are very responsive, hard working, honest crew.

They did an amazing job clearing an absolute train wreck of big dead trees in the creek behind my house, which would’ve caused major storm drain issues this winter if left unattended. Their price was very reasonable as well. Hero of the day in my book for sure.

Very happy with their work. Very good prices & they cleaned up after. Would highly recommend them

I have used Rivas tree service twice now. I had a large tree removed for safety reasons. And shaped and trimmed a walnut tree and removed several cypress bushes. Fast work, super friendly and a family owned business. Prices are reasonable and the scheduling was super fast. Highly recommend!

Rivas tree service is AMAZING! They are fast, fair priced and friendly. They arrived on time, performed the work as prescribed, and then cleaned up really well, and on top of all, they all had great attitudes. I will definitely be using them again for my tree work!

Excellent professional tree service. Very reasonable price, great communication. Left everything clean and were extremely careful not to cause damage to our garden. Highly recommended.

Rivas tree service was recommended to me by the fellow who cuts our weeds annually and they offered a good price so we went with them. They just (Oct 2023) removed a large dead tree on a curved slope of our property (not an easy task) and did a good job and also completed everything in only two days. They also drove some of the wood to one of our neighbors who was interested in having it (which was nice of them to do). Would definitely recommend them and I expect to be using them again in the future (assuming their prices stay reasonable).
