You can disregard a 1 star review and know it's a disgruntled person with unrealistic expectations. I've known Dave for years and he is someone that knows more about dyeing carpet that anyone in Southern California. I've had him do numerous carpets and they came out great. He has specialized in color restoration for decades and will be the first to tell you the end result won't be "New" carpet. But in terms of extending the life and making a carpet more presentable, carpet dyeing will definingly do that and Dave is among the best in the country.
As a carpet repair technician I have to "Patch" real bad bleach spots because it's a highly caustic chemical that has no business on carpet and will soak into the backing and pad and might need a second touch up of dye. The cool thing with Dave is he can leave the custom mix dye formula to do those touch ups. Problem solved.

Great work and great team! Mentor was fantastic and his team worked fast. He immediately identified the issues with our carpet and scheduled us the next day! Will definitely use them again for additional future projects and highly recommend dyemaster carpet .

If you have stains on your carpet and are contemplating replacing it, you should consider giving Dave a call first. Very professional and detailed. Dave and his team really did a great job blending in my carpet stains. I can’t even tell where the old stains are! My carpet was fairly new and in good condition; it just had areas of pet stains that created spots on the carpet. Thank you very much for being so detailed and getting the results I wanted. You saved me the huge hassle of buying new carpet and moving all my heavy furniture around. Also, these people are so sweet. I was sick with the flu today, and they were super cool about getting everything done while I rested. Thank you for being so understanding. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would!

Covered bleach stains on my sand-colored carpet really well. The spots are unrecognizable now. Blends in seamlessly with the rest of the carpet. Very satisfied with the result.

Dave and his helper did an excellent job revitalizing my carpet to almost new. I would rate them at 4.5 out of 5 with my only exception being not enough dye on under portion of the stairs but this is not easily noticeable. Overall I am very happy with the job.

WHEN STAINS RE APPEAR... DAVE WILL GIVE YOU THE RUN AROUND.

I had a new carpet stained by puppy pee. Dave is truly an artist he was able to match the color by eye
Unfortunately he did not research the kind of carpet I have he knew the stains were from puppy pee. And my carpet never took the dye !!!!

AND his response was oh well tough. Be careful. HE'LL TELL YOU HE CAN DO THE JOB AND THEN IF HE CAN'T YOU'RE OUT OF THE MONEY.
