Cost effective solution to all plumbing problem

The owner of the company whose name is Rick came through on Easter and helped us out and was awesome
-
We had a copper pipe burst right before a snow storm. They came right out the day after we called, fixed it and told us how to avoid a repeat of the same thing happening.

“I want to extend my sincere thanks to Juan and Brian from DrainAid for their exceptional service today. After struggling with a stubborn galvanized steel line, I called for help, and within 15 minutes, Juan and Brian arrived. Their incredible advice and prompt assistance allowed me to get back on track and finish my project in no time. I hadn’t used DrainAid in 15 to 20 years, but thanks to Juan and Brian’s expertise, I’m reminded why their service is top-notch. Thank you for your outstanding support!”

Came out and solved a plumbing problem, at my cabin, that required them to dig to get to the pipe repair. O’Brien plumbing was unwilling to make the extra effort and would have charged more. Very professional and efficient service!

O'Brien’s Drain Aid Plumbing are the absolute best plumbing company! I got a quote to snake a line and video the pipe (work demanded by LACSD) and Drain Aid stuck with their quoted price even though the lateral line ended up being 180 feet and they needed commercial equipment rather than residential, which they initially brought. It ended up being a much bigger job than anticipated and yet they stuck to the best price I could find on the mountain! I had called several local plumbers before scheduling O’Bien’s Drain Aid and their quoted price was the best, and then they went above and beyond! Amazing company! Very honest!
Competent, hard workers, and great people! -
Eddie has been to my house twice. On time, pleasant, clean and neat. The first call was to replace my leaking outdoor faucet. Price quote on phone was $600. Eddie looked at it, tightened something, no more leak, NO CHARGE!! Looked at leaking bath faucet, unfortunately the Moen was not made to replace cartridge so bought new one, Delta this time and Eddie back to install along with his trainee Brian. Both very nice, efficient and clean. I highly recommend this company.

I live in an older home and I've had to use a plumber on more than one occasion. Everytime I've specifically dealt with Drain Aid, I've not been disappointed. Drain Aid responds immediately. Rick is incredible at what he does. He's fixed our issues within minutes. They are fair, honest, experienced and professional. I highly recommend Drain Aid for their resources, knowledge, and efficiency. This is truly a high quality company.

Rick has been wonderful.
He (his son & crew) have been compassionate, punctual and professional throughout our whole ordeal.
I would highly recommend Drain Aid Plumbing for any of your plumbing needs!! -
Please don’t do business with Rick 0’brien.. won’t go into detail at this time. If you don’t want major negative issues ...please go some where else. Find someone honest who Is BBB accredited

We had very little leakage form pipe, Rick fixed it and charge us unreasonable price. We asked for discount but he showed disrespectful manner.
-
Terrible!!...he refused to come back and fix his crappy work and now a new water heater is ruined! Didnt even change the hose and charged us for straps when we had them!! Home insurance should drop this guy! He just left and didn't call me to inspect his work when he was done!
-
Warning! Dishonest and disrespectful!! Home warranty sent this plummer to replace my water heater . He replaced it with a used one that is currently leaking. When I called him on it, he got rude and defensive about it. According to him, the leaking heater is now my problem..see pics!! Stay away from this guy!! I'll be seeing him again in court! Rick if yr reading this, yr ain't off the hook yet! Read comments on YELP about rick.

Drain Aid Plumbing is the worst. This crook demanded $300 cash to clear a main drain once he had a toilet off and refused to go any further unless he got the cash. I got the cash for him and he promised he would make sure the drain was cleared. The Tenant called me within an hour of his leaving and said she flushed the toilet once and did a few dishes and the bottom floor toilet backed up and over flowed again. This was the reason Drain Aid was called out but when I called this crook and told him he did not do his job he said he would not come back unless I promised to pay him again for the same job he got paid for. I wish I had read the other google reviews before hiring him. He has nothing but bad reviews.
I would not even give him one star but google won't post the review unless I click at least one star. I will report him to the State Contractor's Board. -
Now, this guy was a real peach. First I asked Robert, the owner of Drain Aid Plumbing, Crestline to remove only a water softener; the charge was $200 (wow). I authorized the work and Rick proceeded to perform. Then, while we were in bible study (at our home), he showed up and said the work was completed. When I went down to inspect the work, I found that he had not only removed my softener, but he also removed my whole house filtration system. When I reiterated my original request (of only having the softener removed), he stated that he must have misunderstood me. He then told me that it wasn't really his fault and that it would cost an additional $200 to re-plumb the whole house filter. It is obvious that I'm either dealing with complete incompetence or a criminal, or both! I told him to reinstall the filter or he wasn't getting paid so he decided to argue with me that it wasn’t his fault. I’m not sure whose fault it was, but it certainly wasn’t mine; I’m not “licensed” plumber, though I know much more than this guy. I then told him to remove himself from my property and he can sue me to get his $200 (the original CRIMINAL cost to remove the softener).
Upon inspection of the room he was working in, the following was noted:
1) All of my copper tubing and valves were stolen by this plumber (will file a police report)
2) Two leaks from cross-threaded connections he created on the main line.
I would advise against using this unprofessional criminal. Rick at Drain Aid Plumbing will only cause you grief and by the looks of him, most like steal from you. -
Get quotes in writing. Quoted $500 for a job. Mentioned it won't be higher no matter what. I had to work the day of the appointment. Charged my mother almost 50% more. $730 total for 30 minutes of work. Tells me I got overcharged by another plumbing company, then goes and does the same thing. Last time I'll be calling them.

I HAVE PROOF. LOOK AT MY PICTURES! Rick the owner is a SCAMER! PLEASE do not go to this company. He is all talk! He SCAM my mother on fixing a leak in the pipe and Guarantee a 100% this is the problem. My mother Ask for a Receipt and told her to wait until the insurance Demolition the floor. Once the floor was done. I ask can you come back because it's still a leak. He said he don't know what's the problem but he fix one part of the problem. Smh I told him no we paid you to fix the problem not half. Once I called him out he hung up in my face and never came back. He charged my mother $500 to cut a pipe that wasn't connected to anything and said this was the problem! Smh people PLEASE DO EVER MESS WITH COMPANY. RICK IS A SCAMER!
