Luckily they were available within 1 hr of the call and found the heater not firing issue, localized to the part (some kind of a spark plug for heaters :)) and even replaced it right there. Was pleasantly surprised by the speed of the turnaround on a cold winter day where we woke up to no heat.

Dan did an excellent job, was on time and on budget.

Failure analysis: A capacitor failed (heard that one before?) common occurrence in the heating and AC world. This caused "current crowding" (my words) on the control board which failed. Capacitor and PCB were replaced and my unit is as good as new. Seriously, Daniel provided me with a high value service. South Bay is my first call.

I used this service to troubleshoot a issue with my gas heating unit and to install a new thermostat. Responsive and friendly service. Reasonably priced. No attempt to upsell me on additional work when this was not needed. I will use them again if I have an issue.

Dan came to fix my AC since it was making loud noises. Since then, I've asked him to check my system routinely. He is very honest and easy to work with.

Danny came out to our house for Furnace that wasn't putting out heat. Blower worked but no heat. He replaced an electronic board in it. Working fine. He is reasonable for services. Responded within a day.

After dealing with some other nearby establishments who gave me run-around, BS and poor prices, SBH&C did the work 1) well, 2) on time, and 3)at a very good rate ... AND they have stood by with other minor issues related to the installation of our replacement AC as they have come up. You cannot really ask for more from an AC company. I'd highly recommend them (and already I have to my friends).

I always call Dan for any help needed regarding HVAC. He is very reliable and willing to take on extra step to help solving problem even it may be beyond his work scope. I have also recommended Dan to my friend and she was very impressed by his work, too.

They were highly recommended to me by someone. They repaired my furnace and air units. I also then used them for my second house replaced a furnace and added an air conditioning. They did a great job I’m very pleased with my experience on both of the properties:)

One of the motors in our HVAC seized up - and given the age of our system, it was time to replace both of them. Dan installed new furnace and AC units (we have two of each) with highly rated products at a competitive price and great quality.
