Had a great experience with this company! Great customer service from Ray and Jesse. Jesse came and inspected my mom's plumbing and confirmed there was no leak. She lives in an HOA and there are three houses that share 1 water meter. There was concern that one of the houses had a water leak due to the heavy water usage, and the HOA requested the plumbing be inspected. Jesse was able to come out and diagnose the situation. Ray was was the one who I spoke with to schedule the appointment, and he followed up with me afterwards. This was a great experience, and I would definitely recommend someone to contact this company for their plumbing needs. Should we have any issues in the future, I wouldn't hesitate to contact them.

I have used several other plumbers in recent years and Roto-Rooter far outshines them all! They precisely explain the problem, they give options that make sense, they act on the problem in the least expensive way, and make recommendations that are helpful. This is not the first time that I have been impressed with their knowledgable expertise and efficient service. Their charges are less expensive than others.

Jesse quickly figured out and replaced a detached and disintegrating washer on the cold water tap so our kitchen sink is back in business for the holidays.

Then, for good measure, he replaced the hot water tap washer too.

We are good to go!

Fantastic service every time I’ve ever needed them. On the two occasions I’ve called for help in very bad situations the SF Roto-Router team has come and gotten the job done quickly and perfectly. Having the entirety of a third floor washing machine dumping out onto the floor of a second floor apartment is no picnic, but this is the team that can consistently gotten to my emergency and had the situation rectified so everyone can sleep soundly that same day. I will definitely call them again, but I’ll still keep hoping that I won’t have a reason to!

David came over in the timeframe given by the dispatcher. David was very professional and found a couple of places that also needed help. He explained everything he was doing which helped me understand the problem. Never have used Roto-Rooter but you will be my first call next time I need a plumber. Thanks again!

This company was definitely a life saver. I immediately called Roto-Rooter SF and their customer service team were more than attentive to get a technician out to us asap. Our tech, David, did a fantastic service and was more than knowledgeable. He gave us some pointers and kept us informed with what the next process would be. I highly recommend Roto-Rooter SF.

From my initial call until the job was done, staff members were highly professional. I received a specific 1 hour window to expect the service person. Donald arrived right on time. He evaluated the situation and explained exactly what he would be doing to address the clogged drain at my sidewalk that the night before was overflowing. He cleared the drain quickly and offered suggestions on strategies to reduce the likelihood of having the problem again. Thanks, Donald!

I thought for sure our 90+ year old sewer line would need replacing. Arnold came out with all his equipment and took care of business. He rooted out the main line very quickly and pulled out tree roots. Then he used a larger tool down the clean out and removed more roots. He was fast and efficient! He told me to keep having the line cleaned out yearly versus replacing which would cost me 10-20k. Very honest and nice man. Highly recommend!!!

He was GREAT!. He'd been here before, with the other guy whom I disliked. This guy, did everything he could. He got the problem fixed and we bonded about cats (the animal, not the musical.) Fantastic customer service!

The technician was able to diagnose and fix my problem in an hour. He was pleasant and professional and arrived much earlier than quoted. Plumbing issues are the worst and Roto-Rooter is an amazing service that I would definitely use again! Thank you!

Jesse did a great job of fixing the leaks in a sewer line for our HOA. I had some difficulty finding firms that would take on this job - and was very pleased with Roto-Rooter for their very prompt response, quote, and scheduling and completion of the job. I would definitely recommend them.

I had an excellent experience using Roto-Rooter. The technician Mario Falla was punctual, prompt, efficient, and helpful. He identified the problem with our toilet quickly (cracked base), did not charge us for initially testing the pipes with the snake, procured a new toilet for us, and installed it within 24 hours. Mario was honest, courteous, and extremely competent. No question, I would use Roto Rooter in the future, and furthermore request Mario Falla: he was excellent.

We had a leak in our lower level bathroom ceiling .. water came out the exhaust fan onto the floor and water was standing in the light of the fan. Serv Pro came out that evening and removed the ceiling drywall and couldn't find any pipes that were damaged nor could they find any drywall that was damaged -- mystery.

We called Roto and Jesse was very curious about this and offered to squeeze us in. He too came to the same conclusion about the water not coming from pipes in the floor above and no other visible signs of damage.

He then offered some free advice about some troubling sewage and drainage pipes that would eventually cause issues in the future if not fixed.

Finally, he recommended that we open up sections of the ceiling upstairs so we could test a theory as to whether water was coming in from the lower level bathroom vent -- he apologized and empathized at the cost and we said "actually, we had plans to open that part of the ceiling upstairs to add a rainfall water shower -- do you guys install those by chance" and Jesse replied "Oh that's actually perfect timing for you then and yes we install those, just send us an email of what you want and we'll send you a quote."

Super nice guy, down to earth, easy to talk to, knowledgable, funny, honest .. just a wonderful human!

Jesse was very communicative, friendly and knowledgeable. He offered recommendations to prevent future clogging and service options. I would definitely recommend him!

Dave was the technician that responded to our clogged sewer drain on the 1700 block of Quesada Avenue in San Francisco. He came in a very timely manner and was efficient and professional in his job. In no time he had the stoppage unclogged and we were back in business. Dave helped us out of one of the worst dilemmas ever. I would say without hesitation I would use Dave again and would recommend him wholeheartedly.

Everything went seamlessly and the drain was repaired in minutes. The plumber was very nice and arrived within the window of time scheduled. He even offered the online coupon which I wasn’t aware of, which helped with the final cost. The hourly rate is $365/hour (not pro-rated) but that’s probably in-line with SF rates. I would use them again.

I called them midnight, they couldn't get someone here immediately but got back to me promptly just passed 8am the next day. David was here, he fixed the issue in our shower, and provided many tips to us as well. Very nice guy.

My sewer line backed up causing flooding in a light well, shower and basement. David came quickly, was very professional and made certain the line was cleared. The thing that meant most was kindness and concern, he gave me faith in humanity. I am so grateful.

We scheduled a drain cleanout in advance of the winter rains and holiday guests, and Jesse from Roto Rooter was a pleasure to work with. He came on time, listened patiently while I explained our concerns , and got the job done, quickly but thoroughly. He even remembered coming to help us out last year, so he was familiar with the troublesome spots in our pipes. We feel great to have a connection with this local, family-run business.
