Wonderful & knowledgeable staff ♡ My go to garden center! I always find something you just don't see at other flower nurseries. Love this place, couldn't recommend enough!

I have only recently discovered this place & am thrilled I have. Staff members are very knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. Plant and accessory selection is great & the plants are very healthy. This place allows me to visualize my dream garden.

Had a nice patio umbrella given to us as a wedding gift by a friend from this nursery!
It broke, less than 2 years old! We stopped in to see if there was anything they could do for us and their gracious manager took one look at the broken part, apologized for our inconvenience and gave us a brand new one!!!!
That kind of customer service is rare!!!
This is my new “go to” nursery from now on!!!

After striking out at Ace, Home Depot and Sloat, we finally got to Armstrong. The staff was so friendly and knowledgeable! They made great recommendations and didn't make me feel dumb for being a beginner. They saved me time and money by pointing me to the fertilizers and tools I actually needed. Excited to repot my urn plant pups!

The staff there is very sweet and super helpful! I had asked a busy worker about how to get a Christmas tree and she told me to find someone walking around outside they should be able to help. I couldnt find anyone outside, but she came and found me as soon as she was finished with her other customer to help me. Everyone there was pleasant and kind. Will be returning next year for another tree!

They have DA rose but not many, 89$

I love coming here for all of the rare and unique variegated plants that I cant find anywhere else. I love the variety of monstera, philodendron, alocasia and others that rare plant hobbyists enjoy the most. It is what makes this Summer Winds Nursery special and makes me keep coming back every month to buy more. Thank you!

I enjoy coming here to browse with my kids. They love seeing the fountains, sculptures, gazebo, and wide variety of plants. The selection is pretty nice. The staff are helpful and knowledgeable. Inside, they have a cute area with great gift ideas.

The erstwhile Armstrong nursery is now SummerWinds - they have somehow kept the same friendly ambience, overly knowledgeable staff and a wonderful choice of flowers, trees, shrubs, vegetables, herbs and all your gardening needs.
I love their wide selection of flowers and kitchen garden supplies - and mostly appreciate the staff who is always ready with a smile and the answers.

Armstrong nursery is a pleasure to go look around even if I'm not buying anything. They have a wonderful variety of healthy plants and accessories. The staff has always been friendly even if I thought they really didn't answer my question, but the staff members will always try to get you the correct answer. I'm a price conscious person, the prices are generally good, some hard to get plants or larger sizes can get quite expensive.

A great full service nursery with extremely knowledgeable staff. Indoor plants/container garden starts/annuals/perennials and a full landscaping service- they have it all. Great quality horiticultural stock. More expensive than big box or generic retail stores- but it’s worth it.

Great staff! I had a load of questions and they walked me through each step. I felt comfortable and went Home to repot plants and propagate my snake plant for the first time. Didn't try to sell me on anything. Great advice and great products! Will be back

Love this place...although I did have a small issue.
I had called about a specific bag of soil they carried to see if they had it in stock. I was told by a guy they did- plenty according to the computer.
So I drove all the way there...just to find out, after looking around for it, that (he said) they were out.
I asked if he was sure...maybe it was on a delivery pallet somewhere in back (I used to work at Orchard Supply Hardware, so I know how things work). He said he'd go check (pretty sure he just walked out of sight for a few minutes without actually checking because it was 10 minutes until they closed). Came back and said he couldnt find any. But that there would be more by next Tuesday (5 days later)...but I needed it asap because I was seeding a new lawn.
The very next day, since I suspected he was just trying to brush me off to close up for the day, I called back & spoke to a nice lady.
She said that they DID have it. I said are you absolutely certain because I dont want to drive all the way back there just to be told they didnt have any again. She said yes according to the computer. I asked if she could physically verify please. She said okay- came back and said there was a FULL PALLET in back that had been delivered 2 days prior!!!
I told her of my conversation with the guy the previous day & she apologized for his inaccuracy.
Other than that, its a great place. Even exchanged a plant Id bought there a month prior that had mysteriously died (as long as you have original container).

Excellent plant selection, high quality tools and pots, and very friendly and knowledgeable service. Prices are higher but they probably pay their employees more, which is why the service and plants are much better than big box stores. If you’re willing to pay a little extra for variety, quality and service, this place is highly recommended.

This place was amazing! The plant selection was astonishing and I could’ve easily spent more than an hour there just looking through the plants. I’ve been looking for a healthy Desert Rose for 2 years and was finally able to get my hands on one here. If I didn’t have to fly home, I would’ve easily bought one of their dragon fruit plants because I’ve always wanted one. The staff there was super nice and I was able to have a nice little conversation which was super fun.
