Muy buena

I have staining on the bottom of my pool that cannot be swept away. I had my pool acid washed six months ago to get rid of the staining and then it came back after six months.

I love my Pool Guy, but I didn’t think that he had the knowledge needed to really properly addressed this issue. So I’m taking it upon myself.

I went into Del Rancho Pools store with a sample of my pool water and I have to say I had the best and most informative experience that I could possibly have expected. The staff was super friendly. I’m super knowledgeable and helped me run test free of charge on my pool water using their automated equipment that gave me super accurate results. Then they went over all the test results with me to properly identify what is going on with my pool.

It turns out that it’s likely due to me having too much metal in my water that is causing the staining and they provided me a metal eliminator and stain preventer pack that I can use myself to help remove the staining. They also gave me some other things that I can do on my own to help improve the chemistry of my pool, including increasing the muriatic acid dispenser and reducing down my salt water cell because that was producing too much chlorine.

I started service with another company before being referred to Del Rancho Pool by the company who in stalled our child safety fence Pool Safety located in Escondido. The difference between Del Rancho Pool and the other guys who share the same name as a popular sink and toilet company was night and day. The level of service Ive been given has been amazing. From the first time I met Mike who spent an hour and a half going over my entire system and answering every one of my 100 questions and 3 okay 4 stupid ones before I even committed to becoming a customer to the tech Brian who installed my iPad control system and Adam who services our pool weekly. These guys are amazing. Mike pointed out several issues which was causing calcium buildup and poor water quality. Our salt / chlorine generator installed in the wrong place. Easy fix that could and probably did cause premature wear on the systems components. My OCD wanted to buy an entire new control system thinking I needed it. Mike explained to me that my system was just fine and just needed some tuning. Most companies would take advantage of an uninformed customer to sell them something they don't need. Not Del Rancho, thats not how they do things... And Mike, my wife Molly says thank you!! Del Rancho Pool builds and remodels and doesn't just operate a store who sells blow up floaties and makes service calls. The price Im paying for monthly service is exactly the same as I was paying the other guys. Id like to add a quick story, about two weeks ago at 9:30 Friday night I had turned on the heat on the jacuzzi about 20 minutes later we walked outside to get it and the jacuzzi was bone dry. I panicked and according to my neighbors a few choice words could of been screamed. I called and texted Brian the tech and Adam our service pro. Brain as it turns out was at a 40th birthday party which couldn't have been his own because he's way too old :) who knows where Adam was. What I do know is that both immediately called me back. Brian walked me thru a few steps to pump the water back into the Jacuzzi which thankfully ended up in the pool and not down the drain. Adam started sending me sketch drawings to help me correct the error and even offered to come over to help me. And here Ive thought customer service was a thing of the past.. I hope this helps you make a good choice when selecting a company to take care of your pool.

I just acquired a spa when I bought my home, didn't know the first thing about maintaining it. Came in with a question about the water hardiness and the folks here were super helpful. They were patient and informative and I have a much better understanding now. Thank you!

Del Rancho is my go to for pool maintenance. Free water testing and they did a free checkup during a Hayward promotion on my poolvac. Took it apart and installed new feet, no charge. For problems I can't fix, like my pool heater, they are prompt and reasonable. Come to the house, go straight to the pool equipment. Hardly knew they were there. I highly recommend Del Ranch Pools and especially Kevin.

Horrible place, they will tell you a story on the phone, then change it when you arrive.
Avoid.

I contacted to owner to ask for a referral. He has a blog about building pools in Mexico as if he is a person to get to help build a pool in Baja area. He referred me to someone he worked with once. The guy ripped me off and has set me back on my project to the point where I can't move forward with anything. It's better to say no then to refer a bad person. Then to make it worse when I called to ask him about Steve Kipping he said it was my problem for hiring him. Not even nothing to say I'm sorry or maybe I shouldn't have referred him. He also called him and complained that I left a bad review. Maybe if he hadn't done all of that at least he wouldn't have also stood my money. It's not his fault but as a professional in the business who blogs about his knowledge of building pools in Mexico one would think he at least had some referrals.
