All reviews for Pro Trees Arborist

My wife and I found ourselves in urgent need of an arborist to save our huge and tree-like bougainvillea which toppled over in one of our recent storms. While Theron and crew did a fantastic job on all our trees a year ago, I was skeptical they would be able to help on an urgent basis as they are usually so much in demand. However, because of the urgency, we were thrilled that Theron was able to come out in a couple of days and then he and his crew fit us in the following week. They did a great job salvaging the basic frame of the plant and shaping the foliage and even managed to preserve some flowers for us to enjoy. And, furthermore, they also perfectly trimmed three of our tall palm trees. No damage to landscape lighting, tidy cleanup, respectful social distancing and face-mask wearing for COVID-19, and Rachelle in the office made everything smooth and easy.

There's a big difference between an arborist and a tree trimmer. You may pay a bit more for an arborist, but they're worth it. One hack tree trimmer is all you need to ruin your property irreparably.

Theron at Pro Trees is an arborist. He was very attentive, he listened to what I wanted and advised on how best to approach each tree, individually and with special care for each one. Equally importantly, I told him what I didn't want and he completely understood. The crew came and did a great job, on time, immaculate, and professional. Theron oversaw the operation and made sure his team followed his instructions to the letter.

Theron and I worked out a long term plan to correct the mistakes and negligence of the previous tree trimmers and owner of my property. I will have them back every year!

If you're looking for an ARBORIST who is skilled in assessing trees and keeping them healthy, happy and beautiful, Pro Trees is a great choice.

I totally trust Pro Trees with all of my trees. I have had some RCE work done and most recently all of the huge pines in our front yard trimmed. They always do an excellent job and whoever is working is very professional and respectful of our space. Theron, the arborist is a wealth of knowledge. I have learned so much from the few times I've had him out. I'm a much better steward of the trees on our property since we have been working with them and I couldn't be happier.

Pro Trees trimmed and reduced the canopy of a 65 ft. Aleppo pine on my property, near the street. A primary goal was to reduce the weight over the parking and street. My last tree trimming experience with another business was a total nightmare even with positive reviews, so I was cautious and vigilant. It was the first time I've used this company and they did a good job. The tree looks good and significantly more balanced. At one point I expressed concern that the crew avoid any branches falling on a trio of newly replaced mailboxes directly below the tree. They quickly found a way to avoid damage, which I appreciated. I will use Pro Trees again because I have 6 very large trees!

Pro Trees was so professional and took a sincere interest in my situation. Theron came to look at my tree within an hour after I called him. He assessed my tree for a great price. Theron has a wealth of information and he shared his knowledge with me. He gave me fantastic advice, which I followed. I am thrilled to say, that I won my fight with the City of Oceanside, and my 50 year old Camphor tree will be allowed to live as long as it desires! Thank you, Theron. I could not have convinced the City that my tree is healthy without you.

RE: Pro Trees

We had four large trees, as well as four other trees and large shrubs that needed pruning. Two of these were very difficult to access, (high bank with cacti & other shrubs in the way). We received a very specific bid for all of the work to be done. For much of the day we had 5-7 people in the yards and on the bank. Well-supervised crew members rotated in and out as the job progressed, depending upon the evolving requirements of the work. Upon completion, all debris was completely removed with astonishingly minimal impact on the other plants in the immediate vicinity. Cheerfully, they even helped us move our large potted plants back into place before leaving. The cost for the work represented an excellent value as well. We had a slightly lower bid from someone who had done it previously, but considering the comparable difference in quality and completeness between the two, (nothing looked "butchered" afterward), it is quite clear that we actually got a much better "deal" from Pro Trees. We will be definitely using them again in the future and have no hesitation in referring them to friends in need of trimming or other arboreal services!

I recently had the pleasure of working with Pro Trees, and I couldn't be more impressed. As someone who has managed open space preserves and local parks for years, I've encountered my fair share of tree services, but none compare to Pro Trees. From the moment I contacted them, the owner, Theron, provided a prompt and competitive quote. The crew was on-site in no time, addressing my concerns about the safety of our trees following a significant branch break.

I emphasized the importance of safety while also hoping to maintain the beauty and shade provided by our trees. Theron and his team not only prioritized safety but also managed to enhance the aesthetics of our trees in ways I never imagined possible. Theron's expertise truly shines through; he's more than just a tree service provider – he's a genuine tree artist.

What sets Pro Trees apart is their commitment to going above and beyond. Every aspect of their service exceeded my expectations. Thanks to their exceptional work, we won't ever need to consider another tree service. Pro Trees has earned our trust and loyalty, and I wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone in need of tree care.

We have been using Pro Trees for the past two years to lace our Torrey pine, and we are extremely pleased with the service provided by Theron and the entire Pro Trees team. This year, we had the pleasure of meeting Osman and his crew, and they exceeded our expectations.

From start to finish, they were punctual, professional, and incredibly considerate—taking extra care to protect not only our landscaping but also our neighbor’s backyard. Their attention to detail was evident, and they left everything in pristine condition after completing the job.

Pro Trees continues to provide outstanding service, and we highly recommend them for any tree care needs!

They did a beautiful job shaping and trimming 7 of our trees in front of our home that are approx 15 years old. Very professional and efficient. I would highly recommend their services!

One hour consultation on various problems with my shrubs and trees. Theron has an encyclopedic knowledge of diseases and physical problems and was immediately able to get the to heart of the problem in each case.

Very calm, no judgement assessment of what was going on and left me with a detailed set of instructions on how to remedy various problems.

I'm looking forward to having him back for the fall pruning.
