Today I called because my HVAC wasn’t working at my new home. When I spoke with the call center, they told me the travel time and diagnostic fee would be $69. However, when the technician arrived, he tried to charge me $119 instead.

The technician did not seem very experienced. He noticed our breaker was tripped but still wanted to charge me $119 just to flip it back on. Even after that, the air conditioner still didn’t work because my new thermostat was still charging. I asked him to try the unit with my older thermostat, but he refused to test it.

Overall, the customer service was not good, miscommunication on pricing, lack of effort to properly diagnose the issue, and little willingness to troubleshoot beyond the basics. Very disappointing experience.
