Gary and his crew were so great! They trimmed our japanese maple, making sure to keep the active nests shaded, and cleared all the leaves off our large decks.

I have worked with Artisan Tree Trimmers on a few occasions and always find them to be excellent in terms of quality of work and overall character. Gary always goes above and beyond to make sure my trees look their best.

Gary has trimmed our birch trees for years. He does an outstanding job and we have the best looking trees in the neighborhood. We value not only his trimming, but his advice. He is extremely knowledgeable and can help you with other issues you may be having with your trees.

We have used Gary's services for many years and have always been very satisfied. We have a beautiful old oak in our back yard that Gary has shaped and thinned over the years to keep it healthy. HIs experience shows in the work that he does. Gary and his hard working crew are the best.

At first I thought Gary's quote was somewhat high, but then a crew of 3 showed up and worked nearly 3 hours to shape, trim and thin my two trees. They did a superb job. Both trees are healthy and lovely now.
They were prompt, friendly, professional, cleaned up after themselves and in all ways more than earned my respect. I will be happy to recommend Artisan Tree Trimmers to anybody.

This is a review for a stump removal job done by Munzer. I called around 4 companies to get the quote because it was a big job and everyone came and looked at the work that needs to be done and quoted me. I decided to proceed with another company as they gave me a competitive quote. Munzer from caltreez called me proactively and said he will match the other company’s quote and therefore I gave it to him. Once he got the job he was immediate to find a date to do the work. On the day of the work he did not show up but sent someone else to do it and that is fine. They did the entire job and at the end he changed the quote by ~200$ extra and said that they had to remove more stumps that they initially thought. I do not understand what is the point of coming, inspecting and giving an initial quote. I did not argue much and I gave them ~150$ extra. This shows that he is not honest. For the actual quality of work itself, they broke my sprinkler pipes and it no more works and I have to redo the pipes and when I try to reach him now to fix the issue he does not respond nor pick up the calls. HE WILL DO WHATEVER TO GET THE JOB AND ONCE IT IS PAID FOR for the sub par quality of the work done, he will never respond or fix the mess that he made. Stay away from them as they do not stand by for the work they do. If there is something less than 1 star I would give them that.
