From the moment I met Islander, (who came to my house to give me an estimate for my job), to the last day of the project when I said good-bye to the crew, my experience working with Bear State Construction Services, Inc., was nothing less than phenomenal.

I had previously gotten four estimates for my partial bathroom remodel (tub, shower, and tile surround). I had already decided that this would be the last quote before making a final decision on whom to hire.

Before I even knew Islander’s quote, I was hoping that I would be able to hire him. He is very personable, knowledgeable, courteous, and professional.

Upon hearing the quote and without hesitation, I hired Bear State Construction and I couldn’t be more thrilled with the outcome. From start to finish, the entire crew (Islander, Basilio, and Naun) transformed my tub, shower, and tile surround into a stunning showcase that I am proud to display to anyone who visits.

This crew is meticulous, hardworking, pleasant, responsible, reliable, efficient, skillful, thorough, and clean … everything you could possibly want in a contractor. I was astonished by their superior craftsmanship. Also, their attention to detail was impeccable, and they ensured that I was happy with the progress they made every step of the way.

Additionally, they completed the job in a short period of time without disrupting the household or compromising quality or budget. Moreover, they were very respectful of my property.

This company is nothing short of amazing. Islander, Basilio, and Naun were an absolute pleasure to interact with throughout the entire remodeling process. They brought with them an abundance of know-how and experience to render the best possible outcome. I feel confident if you hire this company for your remodel, you will not be disappointed … I certainly was not.

Islander will give you a honest and reliable quote! we needed some shower changes and he straight up gave us ideas that saved us money. As it turned out we didn’t need his services. However, he helped us with what we needed, when he could have easily did a little work for us and charged us more than his suggestions cost us! Great guy! We plan to call him for any other needs we have in the future.

Islander worked with us to bring everything we wanted in our bathroom remodel together. He offered suggestions and recommendations based upon things we wanted considered. Islander and his entire team were very professional, They arrived at the same time every day. They were never late, and I appreciate that more than most will understand. Each day before they left, they cleaned up and I never had to deal with cleaning up after them.

Their communication was very appreciated. Anytime I had a question I received a quick response. I thoroughly enjoyed working with all of the staff and getting to know them as they are genuinely nice people.

Islander and his team did an amazing job on the bathroom remodel in our 1940s home. They showed up on time every day, worked the full day, and cleaned up the space each workday so we had minimal disruption to our routine. Our home is a single bathroom house, and they were very mindful in scheduling the installs to make sure we didn’t have to go without the toilet for longer than was absolutely necessary to the job.
Islander is communicative and super involved throughout the job, he made recommendations that improved the outcome, and went above and beyond to source a couple things that were hard to find but felt really important to us.
We could not be happier with the final product and will absolutely hire them again as we continue to improve our old house. Give them a call. 5 star experience!

The fastest way to lose my business, is to waste my time. Why waste your time going to a customer's home to provide a FREE quote only to never submit a bid. That can't be cost effective for you either! I was looking to regrout a bathroom, paint interior doors, and replace sinks, faucets and showerheads. It was a middle of the road price point

I followed up after a week and Islander stated the proposal would take more time because he is busy.

I get contractors are busy, they are short staffed or have green employees that need training, but if this is your situation, be honest and do a better job estimating your time lines. I understand this is a balancing act, but do better! I don't like my time being wasted anymore than you do. I am self employed as well and I try to be respectful of my client's time as I hope they respect my time.

It's not cheap providing free estimates with the gas prices. I will be removing your name from my vendor referral list. This is unfortunate because I thought you were more professional.
