Gutierrez & son's have always been our go-to. From routinely trimming our palm trees to safely removing 3 out of our 5 palm trees. Amazing customer service from Mark and his crew. Definitely recommend!

Gutierrez and Sons has been my go to tree trimming service provider for the past 5 years and their work has always been exceptional. I can generally get an appointment within 2-3 days of calling. The crew arrives promptly, they are remarkably efficient, take care to not damage anything in the process, and never leave a trace other than the fine job they did trimming the trees. They also seem to go the extra mile to satisfy their customers, e.g., they put my Xmas tree through the chipper without me even asking them to so.
As far as quality, price, and timing are concerned, Gutierrez and Sons is top notch and highly recommended.

Gustavo & Fabian showed up ON-TIME. Both were extremely professional and provided me with their expert opinions on the health of each tree. They gave me quotes for cutting to stump or complete removal.

I used F*****'s last year but decided to switch to Gutierrez & Sons this year, and I couldn't be happier with their service. They were prompt in providing an estimate and consistently available to address any questions or follow-ups. I'm giving 5 stars mainly because of their outstanding crew. They went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied with their work, always checking in to see if I wanted any additional trimming, without ever showing signs of frustration. They carefully covered my backyard turfs as promised and left everything clean and tidy afterward. The only downside was a small accident when they punctured a hole in my drip hose, but they were quick to take responsibility and returned the next day to fix it. Additionally, while the owner and his son, who directed the work in the morning, had promised to return at the end of the day to review the job never showed up (though he texted me if I was pleased with the work). However, because I was pleased with the work, I would still give a 5-star. If you are picky with your yards, I would highly recommend Guiterrez & Sons.

We used Gutierrez and Son's for leveling and grading our backyard to lay artificial turf and build a walkway in front. They were extremely professional, courteous and polite. They showed up and finished their work on time and did an immaculate job with clean-up and hauling dirt when they left. The quality of their work meets our expectations and their price was very competitive. Needless to say that we will use them again for our future projects.

Gutierrez & Sons Tree Services and Landscaping is the best company I have ever used for tree work. They showed up on time and worked with a flowing system that was actually enjoyable to watch. There was not one problem and everything turned out even better than I had hoped. I highly recommend them and I will use them again.

We recently purchased a home whose landscaping had been neglected and selected Gutierrez & Sons to cut back several 40 foot trees around our property. They showed up on time, they were polite and always asked questions if they were unsure what to do. Before they cleaned up they walked the property with me to make sure the work was to our satisfaction. The good work the team did has transformed the look of our home. I would not hesitate to use them in the future.

We have several trees in our backyard, two of which had protruding roots that were disrupting the ground. We know we had to do something about them, but had been procrastinating because we thought it would be a big expensive job. Finally, we decided to call Gutierrez & Sons, because we always see their business cards distributed around our neighborhood. Gustavo came out to give us a free estimate. And for the size of the project, it turned out to be a great price!! We went ahead and retained them. As promised, they showed up on time!! The team consisted of four to five members, who proceeded to get to work without delay and worked diligently throughout the day. Every day they arrived on time and worked in a very professional and respectful manner. And when they were done for the day, each day they made sure to clean up. All interactions with the entire team was pleasant as they were polite and respectful. They estimated four days and sure enough it took exactly the time they estimated to get the job done. And not only did they do a fantastic job, they actually went over and above making sure everything was done properly. And when asked to make some minor changes, they responded without hesitation. For anybody looking for tree removal service, I would highly recommend Gutierrez & Sons. We will definitely use them again should the need arise as well as for any future landscaping needs. If we could give them more than 5 Stars, we would!

Gutierrez and Sons Tree Service Company has the most reasonable price quote. They did an excellent job pruning our fruit trees and removing our Ficus trees in Palos Verdes. Gutierrez trimmed two overgrown ficus trees for us on 6/11/24. They did an excellent job; we were quite impressed. We have had several services over the years and Gutierrez is without any doubt the best we have had. Their crew was extremely courteous.

Gutierrez & Son will be my go to for tree trimming. They gave me the most reasonable quote. They were prompt, professional, neat and easy to work with. They also work very quickly. They trimmed my trees up, removed my weeds, cleaned up and hauled it all the way. My trees haven’t looked this good in years. I highly recommend them and definitely will be referring them to others.

Fantastic experience with these guys - we bought a house with several fruit trees that had never been shaped, and a big avocado tree that had us a bit worried before the crazy Santa Anas came through, and they handled it all with a super quick turnaround. Professional, courteous, and apart from the trimmed trees, they left no signs that they were even there. Absolutely recommend!

We hired Gutierrez & Sons’ Tree Service to remove a tree in our front yard a while back. We had five trees—two tall palms, a tall fir, and a smaller fir— despite our reluctance to part with trees, we needed to remove them for various reasons. Gutierrez & Sons handled the additional tree removals exceptionally well. Their pricing was very fair, and they promptly assembled a team to complete the work in only five hours.

What truly impressed us was their attention to detail. For instance, one of the trees had pushed up a concrete slab in our backyard. Gutierrez & Sons ensured that the slab was level again. Another tree was dangerously close to our sprinkler lines, so they re-ran the Sprinkler PVC, ensuring it was properly buried underground. When they finished, the property was immaculate—it almost seemed as if the trees had never been there. The soil was smoothed over, and the surrounding area was spotless.

In the coming years, we plan to revamp our backyard, we’ll definitely hire Gutierrez & Sons for that landscaping project. I would highly recommend them for your tree service/landscaping projects.
