As new homeowners, we inherited an extremely complicated HVAC system that rarely worked the way it should. After bringing out multiple HVAC companies—three separate attempts—I was ready to give up hope that anyone could diagnose, let alone fix, the issues.
Then Ray Barnes from Coast 2 Coast Refrigeration was referred to me, and everything changed.
Ray is, without question, the only HVAC professional who not only figured out our system but fully repaired it and brought it back to life. His expertise is exceptional, but what truly sets him apart is his customer service, which is second to none. Ray (and his incredible team member Alicia) consistently went the extra mile—communicating clearly, moving quickly, advocating with the manufacturer on our behalf, and ensuring that every detail was handled with care.
It’s extremely rare to encounter a team that shows this level of pride, professionalism, and high-touch service. Their execution, follow-through, and commitment were outstanding from start to finish.
In addition to repairing our main system, Ray also installed a split unit in our ADU at my request, and like everything else he touched, it works perfectly.
