I called Richard during one of our crazy wind storms. We have a tree in the front yard that looks like it might fall on the roof. Richard was in the area and headed right over. He quickly assessed the situation and based on the size and type of tree, and the direction it will fall, he determined the tree is not a threat to the house. He recommended we let it fall rather than hire him to remove it.
Richard was professional, knowledgeable, and confident. He made me feel at ease about the house and was willing to remove the tree if we prefer to get it done before it falls over.

Highly recommend these guys!!!! They definitely know their stuff!!!! My trees and property look fantastic!!! Super friendly, conscientious of garden plants and lights as well as work hard all day long!!!! Thank you guys!!!!!

We recently hired Amador Tree Service to reduce the fire fuel around our house as well as haul away construction debris. They were professional, efficient and reasonably priced.

We had to show proof to the state's Fair Plan to keep our insurance and Amador Tree Service's work came through with flying colors.

Amador Tree Service did an outstanding job in removing a tree from our front yard. The tree was in the middle of a circle of bricks and they were able to remove the tree without any damage to the immediate area or the surrounding landscape. The crew came on time, worked steadily, and removed all the rounds and branches. I highly recommend this business to anyone and will use them any time I need tree removal or trimming.

Richard and Solomon are great, they came right after a very bad storm and got everything done quick and threw in some free removal. He also pointed out a very dangerous branch that was hung up in the trees. That no one else noticed, I would highly recommend them, and I will be calling them from now on for all of my tree removal and trimming needs

I found the company with a google search and called. Richard answered the phone immediately. I Explained what I needed then he said he would be in my area that afternoon and would stop by.. Richard showed up in a few hours and I explained I had a tree about to die and was hanging over my well. We agreed to a price for the removal (plus a second tree if the crew had time) with me doing the cleanup. The crew showed up even earlier than I expected. The crew immediately went to work and finished the job in a very timely manner. I cannot say enough good things about this company and their employees!

Very professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. Richard and his team did a great job on several of our large heritage oaks. Very careful and skilled. Highly recommend!

Rich, Matt and their team removed nine trees, three of them being monster bull pines and having to work around fencing and other obstacles. They did a great job taking out the trees around these obstacles, cleaning up the work areas and hauling off the resulting timber. Rich and Matt understand what customer service means (unfortunately an art that has become lacking in today society) and practice it very well. Not to mention their great sense of humor that made them a joy to have here. There are more trees on the property to be cleared out to help mitigate wildland fire danger and I will definitely be using their service again. Thanks guys!

We had a real emergency on our hands that 2 Sacramento based tree services were scared to do. The tree was massive and fairly close to our home and a street. Over the years the tree had been cabled and held together, but it had finally come time to bring it down.

Richard came the same day we called and wrapped another cable/strap to hold it until we could get it thinned. Once the major limbs were taken off the tree was scheduled to be brought down. A climber came and the rest of the Amador crew worked constantly all day for 2 straight days to get it done. We asked for certain parts to be left and recycled into a future use. Many neighbors were given firewood and keepsake pieces from the tree... all cut and given by Richard's crew.

Once we had it all cleaned up we made an appointment to cut up the big trunk pieces which will be used and enjoyed for years. More on that later. We enjoyed the whole crew, paid what was a fair price for the work which was both technical and big in scope. We will not hesitate to use Amador Tree Service again. We actually look forward to finding more work to do with them... they are that good.

I Have Several Japanese Maples That Needed Professional Attention… Whenever I Had Someone Trim Them…. It Was Obvious They Did Not Know What They Were Doing…. I Posted Asking If Anyone Know How To Properly Trim Them…. Amador Tree Service Got Back With Me Right Away…. Two Gentlemen, Anthony and Matt Came And Properly Bonzied Each Of My Maples Beautifully…. They Were On Time, Friendly and Very Professional…. I Highly Recommend Them!!

September 2024 update. I had more trees to take down to minimize fire danger to my barns. Richard and his crew did another fantastic job and dropped 15 more trees of various sizes. Tough job due to massive branch over hanging the buildings, but Richard climbed the trees and sliced and diced the branches to prevent damage when they finally could drop the trunks. Well done Richard and team. Now my barns are safe.

2019. Very efficient and professional, competitive prices. Great crew and they all know their business. Dropped trees close to stables (I didn't have the guts to try) and I wasn't worried at all while watching them. I'll definitely invite them back for my future tree needs. Great job Richard.

Amador Tree Service is an exceptional company. Richard got back to me the same day I called him. He went out to look at our 140 foot pine tree that needed removal for insurance purposes. He gave me his bid which was reasonably priced for the work that his crew did. They climbed and topped the tree and then brought the bottom half down. Chipped the branches and cut the tree into rounds…about 70 pieces came from this beautiful pine. Nothing was damaged while bringing this giant down which shows you these guys know what their doing. Cleanup was impeccable! The crew was kind, funny, and very considerate to us and our property. Richard answered every question I threw at him with patient and knowledge and he always got back to me immediately. I would not hesitate for one second to recommend or use his company again.

Amador Tree Service came over with their wood chipper and handled a large pile of yard work we had accumulated. The chipped and hauled everything away quickly! Thank you a ton!

Richard and his crew are absolutely the best. Prompt, thorough and reasonable quotes along with the highest quality work. They go above and beyond with experienced arborists and highly skilled workers and leave a completely clean job site.

We had a big oak tree come down during a storm. Amador Tree Service removed it and then trimmed 11 other big oaks to remove weight from the outer branches to lessen the chance of future problems. They are very professional, friendly, and clean up perfectly after the work. We highly recommend them.

A thing of beauty! I had a very unusual situation that is too complicated to get into here, but Matt and Travis took care of the problem politely and professionally. They removed a very dangerous massive tree branch without harming anything around it. And it was surrounded with hazards. I highly recommend them for tree services. Good men doing good work.

I was worried about the health of my trees after one died suddenly. They came out with their arborist and walked my property and checked all my trees and gave me good news that most my trees were really healthy. They came back a week later and removed the dead one and cleaned up a bunch more in a day. Trees look great!

They arrived. Did their job cleaned up no complaints. They took everything away. I’m a happy camper.
