Target Electric came out and diagnosed why my 12 year old system stopped working. I didn’t even know when it stopped, just noticed on SDG&E interim bill. The entire system was checked, the problem found, and a replacement for the problem inverter was located and promptly replaced the next day.
Naturally I wanted an app on my phone so I could monitor before SDG&E bill in future. A few days later when the app wasn’t working, we tried to resolve with texts and calls. When that didn’t work I was impressed that Alex sent someone back to my house just to get the app working. Very pleased with Target Electri’s focus on customer service.

Target electric has pretty much replaced every light fixture in my home! Super quick and always thorough! Sean is awesome and local to me and always just a call away!

10/10! Absolutely would hire again and recommend to friends, family, & neighbors. From my initial inquiry through site visit, quote, and execution they were responsive, knowledgeable, timely, and all-around great people. We received a couple other bids, but really felt comfortable and confident with Steve. Steve upgraded our 100 amp panel with a new solar-ready 125 amp panel, plus added a new EV charger and a few new circuits to correct some old problems and add outdoor lighting/camera options. Once I had the SDG&E paperwork in hand I didn't have to worry about anything else, Target Electric takes care of it all. Steve took the time to answer all my questions and concerns. I have 100% confidence that I received quality workmanship and now have a much safer and more efficient home thanks to Target Electric.

Target Electric La Mesa is Awesome. We needed some Electrical service & repair done to our shop in La Mesa. They gave us the best price to install some switches, outlets, breakers. They ran a 240V line for a new printer. I would highly recommend Target Electric for any repairs or upgrades to your home or business.

Copying my new Yelp review here because of our good experience. Sean of Target Electric did a great job for us upgrading our panel and installing a 240v car charger outlet about six years ago. We haven't needed him since, but when a circuit went out yesterday and all our breakers were still on I called him. He answered immediately, saying we could set up a service visit, but that there were a couple of things I should try first. I'd tested and reset the GFIs that were near the outage, but this didn't help. Sean surprised me when he said I should try them all over the house. Sure enough, a GFI much farther from the dead outlet had tripped. All's well now, and we were saved the cost of service! We will absolutely stick with Target for any future work.

Target Electric has played a crucial role in making my old house safe and comfortable. It's been a pleasure working with Sean and Steve, and they'll continue to be my first call for future projects.

The last project was a service upgrade, which I'm sure was pretty challenging for them with all the inspections and red tape, but was painless for me. In the process Steve found some code violations and shortcuts in the solar+battery system (installed by another company), and I'm really happy that he brought it up and thoroughly explained all the problems in a way I could understand. It gives me a lot more confidence in the end result. Also, a service upgrade is an inherently long process and I appreciate that Sean kept up with the communication throughout.

Estimates should be free and they charged over $400 to come out and give a bogus quote of $17,000. Great if you need an inflated quote when buying a house, but otherwise I would never recommend them
