Capistrano Air has responded quickly and on time whenever I have called for service. They have always been professional and quick to diagnose the source of a problem. Then they let you know what the options are and how you can save money instead of trying to upsell you. I really trust this company and have recommended them to my neighbors and anyone in need of heating and air conditioning service.

Capo Air replaced my 20+ yr old furnace and 15 yr old AC -- very happy with work done! Chose Capo Air based on reviews - found reviews to be totally accurate ... entire staff are very professional and pleasant to deal with, answering all my questions. Caden & his install team were amazing ... did excellent job with both old equipment removal and new equipment install, as well as did thorough cleanup once done. Would highly recommend!!

Great company and great experience. Patrick came and explained everything thoroughly. He emailed several options, all competitively priced. He readily tweaked one of the options so it matched exactly what I wanted. Mike and his helper did an excellent job on the installation and explained how everything worked when they were done. I am very happy with the equipment and entire purchasing process. I wish more home repair/improvement purchases were as easy.

Above and beyond. Capistrano Air really knows their stuff. I manage properties for 35 years now. We had an All Pro heat pump unit that the AC wasn’t cooling. I had a company come first round who didn’t fix it and said I needed an expensive 5 hour advanced diagnosis. I decided to get a second opinion. I found Capistrano Air in a search, Chayne came and fixed the heat pump exchange. Chayne properly & promptly diagnosed the problem and had it up and running quickly. Very fair price & no problem since he came. They are my go to HVAC group from now on

I called later in the day and they were able to send a technician out the next morning. George was wonderful! He called before he came and when he arrived to be sure I was expecting him. He was friendly and genuinely honest. He was very upfront about everything and explained everything in detail. I felt the service was reasonably priced and within an hour George had cold air circulating through my home again. George was also very safe. He wore a mask and put booties on. I loved my experience!

We had Capistrano Air out to do a maintenance service and pre-sale inspection of two AC units at a house we are getting ready for market. Shane, the technician, was both prompt and very thorough in servicing the units and checking on their condition. He explained all the work he was doing in simple to understand language.
One of the units was not operating properly, as we had suspected, and Shane explained the possible solutions to the problem. We will follow up on his recommendations and will likely use Capistrano Air as the contractor based on the exceptional service provided.

Capistrano Air is my go to for all HVAC needs at the shopping center I manage. Matt and Pat are quick to respond and their pricing is very competitive. They also work on residential properties and replaced the HVAC in my home. Truly great work.

I called last night and left a message when the compressor on my A/C unit stopped working. I followed up this morning with Matt and he scheduled a technician for between 1pm and 5pm today. Given the heat wave in Southern California, i was ecstatic that Capistrano Air was able to accommodate my heat emergency the same day. The technician arrived promptly at 1:00pm. He was knowledgeable, courteous, professional, and well trained. He agreed with my assessment of the problem and was able to fix it in 30 minutes. This is a company that will not only have my HVAC business but a company I will use for routine maintenance and will delighted to recommend to others. I already have recommended them to my next door neighbor who called a company 5 days ago to schedule an appointment that has yet to call back. This is a top notch organization and I have already told the technician that I will use them in the fall when I plan to replace my 14 year old compressor and coil.

When our air conditioner stopped working just as the weather heated up and we called everyone. First NexGEN came out and gave us a $15K quote. Yes! A $15K quote! They said we needed a new system and did not attempt to find the problem.

So we called for a second opinion. Capistrano Air answered our call quickly and Matt, the owner, sent someone as soon as possible. We waited only a few days, which was great, because other companies we called couldn’t respond for 1-2 weeks.

Jorge looked for the problem and found the issue quickly. The quote was only $1,100!!

The next day he fixed our air conditioner and it works great!

Called with no emergency and asked for quote. Quick response for our Mitsubishi Splits. Good pricing and commitment on yearly maintenance. Shane showed up and impressively tuned each zone unit (4) and cleaned screens.

My thermostat went out during the past heat wave. Capistrano Air was recommended by a friend.
I was able to make an appointment within 2 days of my call
My time frame was between 10-1. At 11:15 Luis called and said he will be coming closer to 2pm.
I had to change my afternoon appointment because I NEEDED to get my a/c operating
Luis called at 12:30 that he finished sooner and was on his way.
Luis arrived in a timely manner and did a very complete inspection. I needed a new thermostat which he had in his truck.
He apologized for my having to cancel my afternoon appointment and compensated me for the inconvenience.

I like that this is a family business and not a big company
For sure I will call them again. Next year I will do an annual inspection service with Capistrano Air

Capistrano Air has been servicing A/C units in our properties for the past 8 years. The technicians have always done a great job and Matt answers your call without recording nonsense for arranging appointments and accommodating customers requests plus invoicing, not to mention that he is a very nice and fair person. I strongly recommend Capistrano Air to all Orange County residents for HVAC system maintenance and installations

This company is the best A.c. and heating company by far in Orange County. We have used them on multiple occasions. They are honest and charge a fair price for there work. And have not even charged me on several occasions to fix minor issues. They are smart kind and fast. I have used several other companies that tried to rip me off. These guys are the opposite. Best company I have ever used by far.

2024 update: yet again another amazing service. Especially given it's the in the middle of July for a service call. Due to our maintenance we learned from last time this service was just a typical compressor replacement. Luis was our technician this time, very friendly, speedy, and knowledgeable. Thank you crew!

Capistrano air was able to come out in one day, during the summer! The technician George, was so helpful, very deliberate in checking everything. He fixed our ac super fast and all at a great price. We've taped their card to our AC unit to make sure we use them in the future. Highly recommend!

These guys are great. Fast and responsive. We contacted 5 different companies in the middle of August when our ac all of a sudden stopped working and they not only responded quickly but made sure to come same day! Got us back up and running same day, luckily it was that type of issue, and quoted us a system that was extremely reasonably priced. They didn't raise the price quote just because they could. We appreciated their help and transparent pricing. Absolutely would use them again.

I returned home on a Saturday and was greeted by a heat wave and a hot house. I turned on the air conditioning and heard "pop!" followed by the smell of acrid smoke. Worse, there was no cool air.

I called Capistrano Air and they were able to schedule an appointment for Wednesday. Luis arrived, and quickly diagnosed the problem as a blown transformer in my forced air unit. He then recognized that there was an electrical short somewhere in my system.

He took the time to troubleshoot it thoroughly before diagnosing a problem with my old Nest Thermostat. The blown transformer and increased voltage likely overheated a component within. As an electrical engineer, Luis' explanation made sense to me. I did not feel like he was trying to exaggerate the problem in order to inflate the invoice.

I said I would replace the thermostat on my own. And I did.

Luis even cleaned out our condenser. All of that extra time and effort spent beyond replacing the transformer, and the total invoice was still under two hundred dollars. I cannot overstate how surprised and pleased I was with the quality of service I received from Capistrano Air. I recommend them without question.

Hands down, most reliable, honest, affordable local gem in the area. Matt was incredibly attentive and makes you feel like you are the only customer he has because he completely engages in conversation with you and explain everything. He had someone at my house the same day for a diagnosis. He followed up with me via phone to make sure I received my quote because he had not heard from me. There was a slight discrepancy in the email address he had and I was so grateful he followed up with me. Once he had the correct email, I had the quote in 1 minute. He was able to schedule the repairs super fast. The crew (Caden, Shane and one other gentlemen) were incredibly friendly, respectful, prompt and knowledgeable. They were so fast, they changed out my entire outside unit and furnace in 6 hours. Thank you Matt and your crew for giving my family air conditioning for an unbelievable competitive amount of money and superior quality.
