Impressed doesn’t even begin to describe how I feel about this company. We had a situation in which our AC went out on one of the hottest days of the year and on a holiday (Labor day). For most people this would be a very inconvenient and uncomfortable situation but for my family it’s more dire. My husband and I moved our fathers in with us over the past several years after our mothers passed away. This is the life of only children who love their parents! My dad has health conditions that make him very susceptible to heat exhaustion and heat stroke. Additionally even just being slightly overheated can result in a dizzy spell and fainting. My father in law is a diabetic with severe neuropathy that is chronically painful and uncomfortable so adding the heat to it makes it dangerous. I have MS which makes me incredibly susceptible to the heat. As I’m sure you can imagine, I became very worried very quickly about our situation. I started my search and was having a hard time reaching anyone. Anyone I could reach wouldn’t be able to come into later in the week or said they’d get back to me but didn’t. I finally decided to post on next door about our situation and Chad, the incredible owner, replied and provided Me with Renee’s information- his right hand man. I called Renee who stated he’d be over in 10 minutes. He came over straight away and got to work. We discussed our very old system, what could have gone wrong and what the next steps were. Renee realized our contactor had been fried. He called Chad to see if Chad had one since Renee did not have one. CHAD CAME TO MY HOUSE WITH THE PART ON HIS DAY OFF. This seriously deserves all capitals. I didn’t think there were professional or business owners who would do this kind of stuff anymore and I’m pleased to say that Chad proved me wrong. Renee got to work, installed the contactor got everything working and we have our AC back up and running before it hits the high temps today and I am beyond thankful for DCSAIR, Chad and Renee. You cannot go wrong with them and we will be calling them again in the future.

I've used Chad for my own home AND a rental property. Another company told me I needed an entire new outdoor unit for the rental. Chad said it only needed a recharge, which he did, and its been working fine for months!

Chad the owner is such a nice person and an honest HVAC contractor, which is so valuable for our community residents. His company always installs great quality equipment and the installation work is done properly which makes our technician's job in enforcing CA's tough energy code regulations easier, knowing that quality work has been done when our technician goes onsite for required HERS testing of systems. Keep up the good work!

Chad was super helpful and professional for a visit today. My AC exterior unit was not working. He was able to quickly troubleshoot the issue and pinpoint the problem with the condenser motor fan. He gave me tips on what to do in the future. He was honest in telling me what was working and not working. I was having pinpointing the problem with the AC unit for past a couple of days. He finally narrowed it down for me.

After NextGen air said I needed a whole new heater, Chad came out and inspected my Carrier heater and said us was completely fine, safe and still in warranty. Chad saved me the $10,000 I was told a new heat could cost. Thanks Chad!

Wow!!! I callled these guys for AC repair and Chad came out. He was AMAZING! My biggest fear was having a dishonest technician come out and try to sell me a bunch of stuff I didn't need. Chad was SOOO honest. I thought for sure I needed a new condenser. He said he didn't me to have to pay for a new one if my current one can be fixed. He ended up fixing it in about 1/2 hour!! I thought I was gonna spend thousands! Don't waste your money on big companies you hear and see advertisements for. You are paying extra for them to advertise and they will try to sell you a whole new system...ducting and all. This company has amazing pricing and they are extremely honest. I will refer them to anyone and everyone that has heating or AC problems in Orange County. Thanks again Chad!!!!

Great service with pleasant attitude. Modern complex A/C repairs are simple with Chad in charge :) He has so much knowledge and he is very helpful. I live in Laguna Hills and am so happy to have found the best heating and A/C place in Orange County.

If you have an air conditioning or heating problem and go anywhere else you are making a mistake. Last night we were having a family "prom" for our daughter who is graduating HS and the air conditioning was not working. I called Chad at 9:00 pm and he called me right back. He came out today and fixed our unit in a flash. He is extremley honest, reliable, and his prices are reasonable. Chad was on time and extremely personable. He quickly diagnosed the problem and immediately replaced the faulty part. He is professional and honest. I am extremely pleased with his service and the quality and value of his work.

Called this morning to get my AC serviced, and Chad was able to come out this afternoon. It only needed to be charged with refrigerant and the cost was very reasonable, just like it said on his website. I've already given his business cards to several neighbors and highly recommend him. Chad visited our home and was without a doubt the most helpful and considerate HVAC contractor we have ever encountered. Having own several homes over many years this is a very significant statement to make having never made it before. Chad from DC's Mechanical is one of the last remaining honest HVAC contractors who loves his profession and truly cares for his clients. I have used Chad twice, for 2 different issues.

Last December, my 30+ year old Lennox furnace came to a screeching halt (literally). I had 2 other HVAC companies come over to assess my furnace/AC units. Both of them did a quick 5 min. assessment, told me that my old unit has died, and that they do not repair old units. Then they attempted to upsell me on some brand new $15K units. Before thinking about investing in a new HVAC unit, I wanted to first find out how much it would cost to repair my old Lennox unit. I learned quickly that not many HVAC contractors want to repair these older units, they just want you to purchase a new one. UNTIL, I finally found Chad, who came over, climbed into my attic and did a thorough assessment of my furnace unit. He took the time to listen to my account of what occurred and what I heard when my furnace unit came to a screeching halt. He opened up my unit and did a thorough diagnosis of everything. He discovered that my blower had actually shifted out of place which caused the blower wheel to get lodged against the metal casing. Chad fixed it and had it running smoothly in 1 hour. He told me that my old Lennox unit was built like a tank and still running strong after 30 yrs.

This summer, my AC/furnace units stopped working...they simply would not turn ON. I tried my circuit breakers and also manually hot-wire from my thermostat wires, but nothing worked. I called Chad and he came over to inspect my furnace again. He quickly found out that my transformer had blown, due to my contactor going out in my AC unit. Both of these parts were original (never replaced) and about 30+ yrs old. Chad was able to quickly replace both of them with new ones. He had my HVAC system up and running again.

Suddenly, it was cold INSIDE my coop. Because it ws a holiday 3-day weekend it took days to find out that the problem wasn't covered by my senior community . Fortunately, a fellow writer, aka "angel in disguise," directed me to Chad at DCS Mechanical, Inc. As soon as I called him, he came within the hour to figure out what was wrong. The very next day he returned, explained my options, and proceeded to correct the problem. He was efficient, knowledgeable, pleasant to deal with, and respected my senior budgetary concerns. Above all, he stands behind his work and is willing to address any difficulties that may occur. I am happy to recommend Dcs Mechanical, Inc.

Met with Chad this week and he advised us on several ways to save our aging unit rather than replace. We appreciate his honesty and replacing just a few lbs of freeon should hold us off on a large expense. We were up and running nice and cool within a half hour. Thanks Chad!

I was told by the original installer of my A/C unit that I had a leak and was out of refrigerant. They pushed to sell me a replacement unit but settled for $2,800 to refill the refrigerant and repair the leak. I called DC's for a second opinion and Chad came out the next morning and found that it did not have a leak and had plenty of refrigerant. He said my unit runs great and I just needed a new thermostat which he replaced on the spot. He saved me thousands of dollars. We need more people like Chad in this world!

Our HVAC system started having an issue recently, which other repair businesses declined to service due to its age. Chad on the other hand was able to diagnose and help us fix the issue over the phone. His customer service was exceptional; he truly seemed to care about our problem and offered solutions to fix rather than simply replace.

Chad at DC Air is fantastic! He completed a full new install of AC and Heater for us in July 2022. My review is late to posting, but I have more to add. We had an issue with a solar company that "accidentally" blew out our entire 8 month old heater system (which DC Air had installed). After waiting for 11 nights in the 40 degree nights with no heat for the solar company to fix, we finally decided to call Chad at DC Air to see if he could help us. It was the Thursday before Easter and we called him shortly before 5PM. He literally came THAT NIGHT! Checked it all out, told us what he saw had obviously happened (the solar company blew out the entire system due to the panel upgrade where they had obviously connected a 220V to the 110V heater, thus frying the boards of not only our heater, but our oven and our dishwasher). He said he'd hoped to come back the next day and (hoping) the heater company was open on Good Friday to get the necessary parts as he would need to drive to Buena Park to pick them up from South OC. He did come back that Friday (the Friday before Easter when so many people had already taken off for the day) and fixed the heater and we FINALLY after 12 COLD Southern CA nights had heat in our house! He also worked with us on the payment as he knew the solar company was responsible for the mishap, until he was paid directly by the solar company for their mistake. We obviously followed up repeatedly, but the solar company was slow to respond. He patiently waited for 21 days until I sent a 3rd follow up email to the solar company cc'ing Chad and they did finally respond by contacting DC Air with a credit card payment. I would definitely recommend Chad and DC Air for any and all of your HVAC needs!

Great guy. Called in a panic as my condenser on AC wasn't working and it's a heat wave. We live in the same neighborhood and he was home so he popped over after we discussed the issue, I did try and troubleshoot before calling him. He came over so fast, helps we are neighbors and within 10 mins it was fixed. The capacitor was dead. He had the part ready. He also told me the price before he came if that's what it turned out to be. Very friendly chap, very efficient and no sales talk. Just came and did the job and now my house is cooling again . Would highly recommend..

Chad was on time, professional and very helpful. His fees are reasonable and while he was fast to diagnose the problem, he took his time to explain what was wrong and how he was going to fix it. This is the second time I have used his services, and I would recommend him with very high marks. It would be very hard to find someone else out there with his knowledge and honesty.
