We were very happy with the service we received from Petersen Plumbing.
My husband had tried to fix our dishwasher (usually a handy guy) but just wasn't able to fix the problem. He decided to reach out to a local plumber and see if they might be able to solve the problem. So when we called Petersen Plumbing he was up front about what our costs might be. We decided to take a chance. Problem was solved in a very timely and proffesional manner. Highly recommend this Plumber!

I don't usually write reviews. I was pretty stressed about the situation, and he just came in calm, figured it out, and handled it. He explained things in a way that actually made sense and didn't make me feel like an idiot. You can tell he takes pride in what he does, and it shows. We got to talking and I found out he's from Mill Valley and his family as well, which I honestly loved. It made the whole experience feel more personal like you're dealing with a real local who cares.

There was a concern about a leak at my property as well as issues with my sump pump. Petersen Plumbing immediately got me on the calendar and was friendly, efficient, and took all my concerns into consideration as we planned what was the best way forward for the problem.

I used a Yelp deal for the first time. The deal itself was not without glitches, but the lack of clarity on behalf of Yelp was quickly and easily resolved by the owner. He was busy the day (aka he took my call and got to my house last minute without any pre-planning), and sent Juan over to take care of my busted garbage disposal. I love the idea of fixing it myself, but I know the pain and many hours isn't worth a job poorly done - Juan found out the Disposal was ancient and dead... grabbed a new one nearby, installed it... and all basically within an hour. He charged cost for the disposal, and one hour of time. It's a rare experience to find a situation where you know they are looking out for you, and you don't feel that "are they trying to take advantage of me?" feeling you get in some of these situations. I find myself excited to have another plumbing problem, which is not only silly, but says a lot about Petersen... and especially Juan. Great job guys! Thanks.

I couldn't recommend this company more. From the first contact by phone, with transparency on pricing and way of work, to the on-site visit (big plus to the mask and care for my family's health) to the education on what the problem with my sink and shower was and how to best solve it for the long run, I would say 5 starts are not enough. I did have cheaper quotes from other companies, but decided to follow my gut and stick with what I would call a premium service. Thanks again John and Taylor for the great work. We are super happy with the results.

I had a leaking toilet the day before Christmas Eve. The plumber we usually use said he couldn’t come until after New Years. I found Petersen on Google and called him—he answered the phone immediately and came the same day and fixed it! He’s extremely nice and skillful. Pleasure to have in our home, will absolutely call him again next time!

Petersen Plumbing responded to repair a broken domestic water supply line at our condominium association. The break occurred late in the day and they responded immediately, working until 11 PM to complete the repair and restore service to the owners. They also returned promptly when one of the owners was experiencing low water pressure after the repair and were able to troubleshoot the problem quickly.

In the middle of a very busy December we needed plumbing services at our home in Novato. John was very helpful over the phone and then quickly came to diagnose our problem and provide a bid. We decided to go with his bid because while we received lower bids and higher bids, he came by recommendation and ultimately his professional passion won us over. It was the right decision. He and his team were so smart about the ins and outs of plumbing and you could see it on the job. They always arrived early,or on time, and their respect and consideration of our home and time was impeccable. They worked hard and tirelessly redoing all the plumbing one side of our house. There are many plumbers in Marin and Sonoma counties but if you want good work done by a solid team I highly recommend John Beard, Jay and team at Petersen Plumbing Services!
