I had the privilege of collaborating with Bay Scenery on a landscape design project recently, and I'm absolutely delighted with the results. Our property featured an aging swimming pool that was in dire need of a complete makeover, and what truly impressed me was Bay Scenery's prowess as both pool builders and landscape experts.

We have had our home for great many years, looked at how we might be able to refresh the outdoor area for the past few years but stopped short of getting some ideas from various designers that we worked with. Its very hard for us to visualize the end results so we always stopped and wondered what it would look like and never started construction part of it. We saw an ad from Bay Scenery and visited their site and saw their portfolio, they seemed to use a lot of 3D renderings that looked great. Contacted them and after a short visit by one of their project managers, we asked to go and see one of the sites that they have done renderings for to see how good were the end results vs what they designed and rendered. We were amazed when we visited one of their client sites, the rendering was as if it was a picture that was taken from the site.

Contacted them back and went through a design process that took about 2.5 months from beginning to the end but they were very much willing to work with my wife and I to make updates and adjustments as we needed them. Some of that time was probably caused by us being very picky but they helped us get where we wanted to be.

Construction crew is amazing, they are courteous and very much skilled in what they do. They were at the project every day from 8am to 4pm until the project was finished. The construction took about 6 weeks from beginning to end.

Very organized company to work with, great people and lots of skill and caring for what they do.

I have been wanting to do a new ADU build for my backyard for a while so that the older parents would have a place to stay in a few years. Have been going around and talking to a few architects and initial fees were in tens of thousands of dollars which seemed excessive considering that the entire ADU cost to build would be not more than $350K which was my budget. It seemed silly to pay 15% to 20% of that budget towards architecture work. Talked to a neighbor who has one built and they said look for a design and build company, they do it all. They did refer me to their builder however they were not taking a new client and their builder suggested I talk to Bay Scenery as it is both design and build and they apparently did the design for this other project as well.

Talked to them, the process was really smooth and easy in 2 months I had my design completely done and in my hand. They did excellent job with the whole process. We are now in the permit phase with the city that could take a bit of time but wanted to give these guys at Bay Scenery an A+ for their design process and their team. When we get to the build after the permit I will probably do an update as well but i have no doubt that they will do fine as they gave me a few of their clients to talk to and they were all happy.

Now lets say what sort of process we have to deal with the city, I pay plenty of taxes lets see what sort of service I get from them

Ali and the team at Bay Scenery Inc. did an outstanding job on our outside yard remodel. The project came in on budget and on scope, despite many challenges outside of our collective control, including roughly 90 days of rain during last year’s El Niño cycle. To his great credit, Ali is an excellent communicator and was able to reliably navigate these challenges and more in a professional and personable manner. We will absolutely work with Bay Scenery again and recommend the company highly.

Been waiting to get some indoor and outdoor work done for our house. Problem has been that most contractors are just that, contractors so I would have to go find a designers and architect to do the plans first and also since this was both indoor and outdoor it would be more than likely two contractors, one for inside the house and one for landscape construction that I was not looking forward to have to deal with.

A friend recommended Bay Scenery as they built a house in his neighborhood. I approached Bay Scenery and asked if I could talk to the owner of that house as a reference before we start work and they arranged it without hesitation. Needless to say the owner was very happy with the work that Bay Scenery has done and showed me around the project.

We started working with their design team, they have 6 full time designers and architects on staff, the process for design was smooth and very collaborative

They helped with the coordination of various services such as Structural Engineering and Soil Engineering and without much headache we were able to pull the permit.

Their construction crew and their project management engaged immediately without delay and within 3 months the project was completed. They worked 5 days a week non-stop on our project until it was done.

All I can say is that they get it done, and get it done right.

I was referred to Bay Scenery by a neighbor who worked with them for their pool remodeling as we were thinking of building a new pool for a while. They are a very responsive company and customer service oriented, emails are promptly answered, meetings scheduled using calendaring system and all. They also have a design studio in Mountain View that we visited often during the design process. Our designer's name was Paniz and she was amazingly creative and knowledgeable. We had a few ideas we wanted to try to see what it will look like near the pool with a pergola and a BBQ place and she would try different layouts and do a 3D model and present it to us in record time which enabled us to make decisions along the way as we were doing the design.

Once the design was completed, they rendered the project for us to get a better visual presentation and are now working on the permit process. Clearly a great company for design and we are excited to start with them the build part as soon as the permit is done. Everyone around us told us it will be stressful and expensive process to get this design done, working with Bay Scenery and Paniz it was neither stressful nor expensive. They took good care of us.

Bay Scenery's experience and professionalism showed when transforming our backyard. Their crews are polite, hard-working, and passionate about doing things correctly. Communication was excellent, and the project was completed in record time. I highly recommend Bay Scenery.

Bay Scenery came in to finish our pool and spa after a not so successful first attempt by another pool contractor. We are extremely pleased by how they handled our issues with professionalism and care. They listened to our concerns and paid attention to the details to give us what is a not just a swimming pool but a piece of art decorating our property. We hired Bay Scenery after interviewing a few different landscape companies. We weren't 100% on a design, but told them we wanted a park like setting. Based on their recommendations and the technology they used providing an incredible 3-D image of how the backyard should look, we were very happy. The whole project took a couple of months. Upon completion, were extremally pleased with the results. We absolutely loved the final outcome. I'm attaching some pictures during construction as well as the final outcome. It's been almost a year since they completed the work and if an issue has come up, they have been great in responding and having someone come out to fix within the next day. I would highly recommend using Bay Scenery for your landscape needs. The team is fantastic.

We originally hired Bay Scenery for landscape architecture, but when we ran into major issues with our overall building plans and the project came to a full stop, Behdad stepped in and completely saved us. He created an incredible design that worked perfectly within our very awkward, almost triangle-shaped setbacks. His creativity and skill are unmatched. They did a excellent job installing pavers in our backyard. They rebuilt the irrigation system, and properly routed the drainage. Also they partnered up with a sub-contractor to move the AC unit, and this was a 0 hassle for us.

The provided cost and time estimate was very accurate. We were originally thinking to do concrete cover, but I greatly appreciate the fact that they suggested permeable pavers instead, in order to make sure that the tree roots get adequate water.

The crew was professional and did a great job. Every day they they made sure the access path is cleaned up, and work area is clearly marked.

After work was done, they reached out to do a final walk through for all the work items, which I think was a great touch.

And we love the results! If you are looking for skilled and reliable team, look no further!

I have came across Bay Scenery one day searching for a local builder to assist with our landscaping project, I had some ideas but was not sure how to go about it. Their portfolio was impressive and was not sure if they will do smaller projects or not, shortly after I filed out the contact form, Nadine from their office got in touch with me and setup an appointment with one of their project managers who had a lot of great ideas, felt comfortable with their approach and ideas and entered into a design and build agreement with them. Met with head of their design team, Behdad, in person and he took the time to refine the ideas and discussed budgets for the overall project. Design took about 2 months and it included all details from planting to lightning to irrigation to hardscaping and even a pergola. Their build team started a week after we signed the build contract and in about 2 months they finished the project. very courteous team as well with their project manager Rafael being on the job site almost every day to check on the team. We recently had the pleasure of working with Bay Scenery on the design of our new yard for our Eichler home in Palo Alto. We completely re-did both the front and rear of the house.

For years we wanted to have a swimming pool for the house but was always afraid of what it will take to get it done. We searched for local pool builders and talked to a few of them, they seem to be only pool builder and would not do any of the other work like the patio or anything else. one of the pool builders we contacted was Bay Scenery and they told us that they are multi licensed and able to take on almost everything as they are also a GC and a licensed landscape contractor. We started working with their inhouse design team, design process was fairly easy and took about 1 month but the permit process for the pool took a while with the city (Hillsborough) not Bay Scenery's fault, we just had to wait. Bay Scenery took care of all the permit work from working with other engineers like structural engineer and civil engineer as they project managed the entire process. Once permit was given, they were able to start the pool almost immediately and then the rest which took about 3 months which seems like a long time but there was a lot of patio work and they also build a basketball court for us as well. Overall very happy with our selection

Alfonso and David handled the stonework with precision, and Rafael kept the entire project organized and smooth. The team works clean, communicates well, and takes genuine pride in what they do. Ali and his team did an excellent job replacing our driveway pavers and front yard turf. We were quite particular about the exact sloping, how the edges would look, etc. and they handled our requests and feedback with grace and professionalism. Of course we added a few things along the way that exceeded our budget, but that was our fault. We were able to customize our placement and move it around as necessary to make sure that we got everything correct before they starting digging. I can’t say enough about the professionalism of Ali and his team. Ali was patient in his design of our backyard pergola to meet all of our needs. He was always available to us and responded in a timely manner with any questions or requests. Ali will work with you and suggest ideas that will keep within your budget. There was never a time that I felt rushed into a decision.
Once the design was selected, the crew at Bay Scenery was exceptional with accomplishing the task. Everyone knew what they needed to do and every crew member took exceptional care with ensuring that no collateral damage was done while installing the pergola. Each day they cleaned up the area from the day’s work to make sure that no hazards were left behind and after everything was done. They brought all the necessary tools for the project and completed the job in a very efficient timeline.
I couldn’t be happier with choosing this company and having Ali lead the way with making our dreams into a reality. We were so happy that we added an additional job of replacing our backyard lawn with some pavers and French drainage to prevent any pooling of water from the rain.
