I needed a quick inspection service for an old rental unit. The technician found a small wiring issue. This could have been a major problem. The work was professional and detailed.

Our office AC went out during a heatwave, but their commercial AC repair service had it back up and cooling within hours. The technicians were very professional and prompt, and they just saved our workday comfort.

Unfortunately need to give this place 2 stars. The technician himself was good but the lack of transparency and follow up afterwards is why it went downhill. We called to get a unit cleaned. They gave a price. We asked 3 times confirming they will clean everything (not fix just clean )at that price. Person said yes each time. Of course when the technician comes here it is considered a service call w filter cleaning and even though he didn't clean our filter cuz the unit was broken they wanted to charge us the full amount for coming. Even after explaining to the manager what happened he wanted to charge us the full amount. We had no problems paying something for the advice the technician gave but not the full amount and certainly the discount he offered was very little. We agreed to a lesser amount which I still feel was too much. Again the technician, Armen, was good but the experience felt like a scammy foot in the door technique. I won't be using them for the ac upgrade they suggested because I don't fully trust them.

This was for an annual HVAC maintenance call. The technician was competent, but kept trying to upcharge me for things I didn't need, like a whole new unit. Then he charged me $88/lb for refrigerant which, it turns out, is very high. When I checked my Amex statement later in the month, I saw a charge from a company I didn't recognize. I didn't connect it to HVAC Alliance Expert, so I looked up the company. It doesn't exist, and showed a location which is an empty building, and listed a phone number that doesn't work. So I reported the charge to Amex as fraudulent, got a new card, etc. Later I found out this was for the HVAC work, so I had to reverse everything. Extremely annoying.
