All reviews for Proyecto

Proyecto is awesome, did a great job with two installs of two bathrooms. Would hire again!

Abe and his team have great taste in design and are top-notch in craftsmanship.

Proyecto is the best contractor we ever hired or could have asked for, we did an addition to our house with them and they were superb, they pay attention to detail and I love the way they managed my project, 100% recommended.

We have been working with proyecto on bay area remodeling projects for many years and they are a pleasure to work with. All their contractors are professional, very good and friendly.

Our remodel turned out FABULOUS. Our cabinets and custom fireplace were show stoppers and did wonders for our resale value. Proyecto overall was very responsive and supportive in what can be a stressful project.

My experience working with Proyecto has been a pleasure. They deliver a great product and work hard to gain customer satisfaction. I recommend them to anyone getting ready to start a construction project.

"We have had the pleasure of working with Proyecto as the architect on multiple projects. Their proactive approach, commitment to process, and attention to detail make them an exceptional construction partner. They communicate effectively, anticipate challenges, and collaborate to ensure a smooth project. I highly recommend Proyecto to anyone looking for a skilled and reliable construction team!"

We have worked with Proyecto for many years and they are on our list of preferred builders. They are committed to excellent workmanship, and always offer creative solutions to the many complexities that arise during construction. Thanks Abe, Manuel, and team for all the hard work over the years!

I have the pleasure of working with Proyecto Build from a B to B standpoint. If your looking for a company that cares, than this is your Team. Let’s face it, your California home may be one of your greatest investments. As we operate in unprecedented times you need professional guidance, expert problem solving and exceptional building practices. Abe and his team do just that. At face value their going to build you a beautiful home, but longterm their protecting your family legacy.

I had my bathroom completely redone by Proyecto almost a year ago. They did a great job and at a reasonable price. I was lucky to get their best tile guy, who's work is absolutely spectacular. The entire work was done within the promised time-frame, and the communication between all the parties involved was easy. I would recommend them very highly.

I’ve worked with lots of contractors and construction companies before but these guys are truly the best. Amazing quality and craftsmanship. Communication was perfect and I felt confident in trusting this team with my dream home!

I'm on owner of a historical house in the Claremont neighborhood of Berkeley and after calling and speaking to several contractors selected Proyecto and could not be happier with my decision. They show up when they are supposed to, have excellent communication and did very high quality work within the quote they provided me. Abe who runs the show is a genuine person who clearly knows what he is doing.

I am an architect and have worked with Abe and Manuel of Proyecto on several projects around the East Bay. In my professional experience, they have always strived to do things the "right" way, even through setbacks of no fault of their own. The company was quite new when I first worked with them and there were a few learning experiences, which have been addressed to the point that I now consider them strengths of the firm. I would recommend them without hesitation to anyone looking to have work done on their house.

Nystrom Design is a local interior design firm, and we recently completed a full-house remodel project with Proyecto. They were involved in the early planning stages with cost estimating and scheduling to ensure that the project would meet the homeowner's budget expectations and timeframe. The project was completed quickly and skillfully. We had a very complicated custom tile pattern in the master bathroom, and their tilers did a beautiful and meticulous job executing the installation. Proyecto was willing to work with us on custom details, and helped us resolve a few unexpected conditions that arose during the process. We look forward to working with Abe and the team on future projects!

Finding quality work is hard enough, finding a business that also cares about your project is huge task. Abe and his team are detail oriented and care about all aspects of the project. Not only about the design but also the keeping you focused and within your budget. They care about your project, your wallet and provide exceptional work. Highly recommend their services.

The Proyecto team did an incredible job on our home, reconfiguring the laundry, building a new wall, built-in cabinetry, and walk-in closet, creating gorgeous and sturdy floating shelves in the hall and living room, and, most impressively, laying new hardwood floors that somehow perfectly match the 1915 floors of the rest of our house. The work is beautiful, and they were so friendly, responsive, and professional throughout the whole process. I cannot recommend them highly enough!

Proyecto was fabulous to work with from the moment we signed the contract through the completion of the project and beyond. We were so impressed with their vision, execution, attention to detail, and customer service. They came to the jobsite every day (it was a six month job), were consummate professionals, treated my family with courtesy and respect, and always cleaned up afterwards. Their work was fabulous; truly, we've had multiple friends ask about them just because they love our kitchen so much! And even after the job was over, they consistently returned our phone calls and came back whenever we have asked. We would absolutely use Proyecto again for any future remodels, and wouldn't even bid the job out. They are that good.

Abe and I connected several years ago through our local chapter of the National Association of the Remodeling Industry, NARI. Since then Abe and I have collaborated on a number of successful projects.

We work with a number of General Contractors serving the residential market. Abe and his company are unique and set themselves apart with their attention to forming strong relationships with the Customer and Design Team, managing communications and following a clean process. Those components together engender a strong sense of commitment and simply put is the formula to build trust.

Abe brings business experience and knowledge about aligning customer’s expectations with available budget and works hard to advocate the most bang for the customer’s buck. Abe understands the nuances that separate an average contractor customer experience from excellent one as much as he understands that unique transition that happens on a project as it moves from design into construction. These skills are unique and invaluable to his clients and to us.

Behind Abe, Proyecto sets itself up as a leader in the residential construction business in the East Bay and beyond.

We highly recommend Abe and Proyecto's services; we are happy to refer clients we work with to consider as a candidate to construct their project.

I am a rep for Hull’s Nor Cal, a window & door supplier who has done many projects with Proyecto! Every project has been beautiful and has gone so smoothly! Everyone in the company is very detailed & communicative! I would & have recommended Proyecto 💯❗️

We have been working with Proyecto Build and their customers for years now. We often get feedback on contractors/builders from their customers when they come in for their lighting needs and it has always been positive with praise for the work Proyecto is doing. It is obvious they do everything they can to deliver and to keep their clients happy. Personally dealing with them from a supplier side has been very easy as they have a knowledgeable team and they are super organized.

I'm a Realtor in the East Bay and Abe Wortman at Proyecto is my go-to resource for design-build consultation. When a client is considering a property that needs some updating, or major reconfiguring, I call Abe. Even before they write an offer, he helps them imagine what's possible and doable in their budget. So when we get to the offer date, they feel confident they understand the scope of the project and the range of costs to make a house their dream home. And for my clients who use Proyecto for their projects-- the work is top quality, they're true to their agreements and the communication is open and easy--and the designers are great. Also, they are great for building Accessory Dwelling Units (ADU's), which are super popular these days. Proyecto always makes me look good!
