Rich, the owner is an awesome pool builder!
Our project was the smoothest construction project we ever had built. Awesome. -
Even though I ended up not building a pool with this company, I just wanted to say how happy I was with how responsive Rich was and how detailed he went into the process. Burt, who was our consultant was also super. Despite having car and other logistical problems, he still was a great representative of the company and went over some of the finer details. Thanks guys for your hard work!

Kelly and Victor are the main event at Pacific Paradise. Always helpful and responsive. We built our spa in 2019 and use it multiple times a day (especially during covid). Kelly always responds when I have any questions or maintenance issues. Just met Victor a few weeks ago but he took the time to solve a minor issue and made sure everything was working properly. We love our spa and have no regret using Pacific Paradise as the builder.

We've never had a backyard pool -- we previously lived in HOAs with lots of pools. So, taking this project on was overwhelming and we needed an expert team. Rich, Kelly, Victor and Bryce were a great, experienced team -- designing our beautiful pool and landscaping at our new forever home. They were problem solvers too. When unforeseen things came up, they had solutions. We highly recommend Pacific Paradise Pools.

Our front yard remodel got off to a rough start with time delays and construction errors made by a sub-contractor. We met with Kelly and walked through the problems. She accepted responsibility and removed the struggling sub-contractor. Jose and Raymundo managed their in-house construction crew. They fixed all of the problems, paid close attention to all the details and communicated effectively. Bryce was a tremendous asset to us. His guidance on materials and plants brought the project to a level beyond our expectations! We are happy to recommend them.

All I can say is WOW!!! Such a beautiful outcome to a stress free project. We chose PPP after seeing my cousins pool that they did and after talking with Rich it was an easy decision to go with them.
From start to finish, where so many things could go wrong, it went really smooth. We started with Tim who was with us every step of the way in the tear down. Tim was super nice, helpful and knowledgeable, couldn't ask for a better project manager. After Tim, Kelly took over to put everything back together. Knowing how hard it is to pick out colors, tiles, pavers, etc., we really leaned on Kelly and boy did she deliver, the end result is just gorgeous! Kelly's guidance, expertise and responsiveness made us feel relaxed and cared for during the process. Victor was by our side for inspections and pool start up, what a super guy he was, we had so many questions upon start up and he held our hand all through it, he is a true asset to the company.
All the subcontracted crew that came in from excavation, plumbing, tiling, pavers, pebbling, etc., EVERY single one of them worked hard, we're courteous, cleaned up after themselves and did top notch work! We are beyond happy with the end result and would recommend PPP to anyone looking to have a pool built. Thank you Rich, to you and your entire crew!!!

We Highly recommend Pacific Paradise Pools, who did a wonderful job redoing our pool and part of our yard. Our family is enjoying it very much. They were so helping making crucial decisions, using their expertise to guide us through the process. We are proud to recommend them.

We worked with Pacific Paradise Pools on a full backyard renovation. We had a general idea of what we wanted, but worked very closely with their designer Bryce to work out all of the exact details. Bryce was an amazing partner to work with as we designed our space. He helped us choose all the hard scape materials, ensured that the design was cohesive, and helped recommend which plants to use in our landscaping. Lee was the project manager over seeing the work, and they were always very punctual, thorough, detailed, and overall did an amazing job. They showed up every day, worked really hard and didn't stop until the project was done. We even had a few custom requests, and they were able to accommodate us. We are very very happy with the end result, and would definitely recommend this company for any yard renovations or hardscaping.

After remodeling our house during the last 4 years, everything was set up for the icing on the cake, a nice pool with a spa for our backyard. When looking for the company to deal with this important project, we had a referral from one of our neighbors who recently worked with Pacific Paradise Pools for a remake of their old pool and were very satisfied with the results, so we decided to contact them, besides a couple of other companies to have a fair comparison regarding pricing and options. We ended up closing a contract with Pacific Paradise Pools after comparing pricing with the other two options, that ended up being pretty close for the same design and features, so preferred to go with the one with a direct referral, besides that, Rich Tonti showed to be very knowledgeable and his 40 plus years of expertise in the field gave us a sense of trust. As with every big project there are always minor issues that have to be addressed, and have to say that we managed to resolve all of them in a professional manner, ending up with a spectacular final result, a gorgeous 34 x 17 pool with spa, water features and fire pits, with top of the line tech, as we dreamed off, built on schedule. The whole team at Pacific Paradise Pool, including the contractors they used were up to the task, an honorable mention to Lee and Cesar who always run the extra mile to achieve the expected results, kudos to them. So, whenever you have a pool project in Orange County, this company should be on your list.

This is a good Design and construction company in OC. Good design team and construction crew. I recommend this company.

I hate my pool. I wanted a sleek, modern design instead, but they talked me into a '90s-style pool and pool equipment that can't do the job because there aren't enough ports to heat my pool. Every day, I walk into my backyard and regret the owner talking me into an awful pool design. I absolutely hate my pool, and my equipment is overkill. I'm extremely disappointed. I hate hate hate my pool.

Had the consultant come by for an estimate, he basically said that it would be his first quoting a simple pool since he was used to homes in Orange County areas such as Laguna Niguel which are basically million plus dollar homes and I guess our middles class neighborhood like Whittier, wasn’t rich enough to quote. After all that talking he said he would try and get us a a price that day, it’s been about 2 days and still have not receive a courtesy quote. All we wanted was to get a price and have a pool built. I will keep looking for other contractors.

I am looking to build a pool for my business in my parents backyard. I have gone through the city for all official permits and licensing. I called this company after seeing their sign in a front yard in my parents neighborhood. When I got a call back, I believe it was Rich I spoke to, was extremely unprofessional and rude. He first told me that there’s a bunch of licensing and whatnot I need to get from the city so I’m not shut down. Seeing as I’ve had my business open for a year, I am aware of what I need, especially since I’ve already spoken to the city for moving my business to a home property from a commercial. He then began talking about how he’s been in business for so long, he’s amazing at what he does, and was not so humbly bragging about himself and his work.
I told him my mom (the homeowner) was getting a few bids from a few companies just to compare and see who can provide what we were looking for, for the best price when it came to materials and customer service. We’re willing to pay more for a company that respects what we want and is happy to work with us. He then told me that he wasn’t going to wait in line behind other contractors and it would be a waste of his time. I told him, in respect for my parents and myself , I didn’t think we would be a good fit and hung up. As someone who owns a business I can’t imagine telling someone they would be a waste of my time, even if I thought my goals and theirs were on opposite ends.
We met with companies who have won awards for their pools and work who were far more humble and accommodating and willing to work with us, knowing we were getting multiple bids. My best advice for Rich is be a little more humble and allow your potential customers to look at other companies. If your work is so great, you would stand out and they would pick you, right?
**Update in response to business owners response: he literally told me that it would be a waste of his time, with us getting other bids (my husband was sitting right next to me and can attest to this. I wouldn't put something so critical in a review if it had never happened**
