Very happy with this contractor from start to finish. He got the project going on time and kept everything moving smoothly. The bathrooms turned out great, the living room looks refreshed and inviting, and the high ceilings add a nice touch. The crown molding was installed neatly with great attention to detail. Communication was simple and straightforward the whole way through. Definitely recommend!

We have used Cornelio and his team for all of our major renovations. Their work is extraordinary, their integrity is amazing and their pricing is fair. I recommend them to everyone I know. They can do any project too - from building a house from scratch, building an ADU or tiling a bathroom or updating a kitchen. I trust no one else.

We've just finished a full-house remodel and 500 sq-ft addition to our ~90-year-old cottage-style home with CAP Angeles Construction. We added a bedroom and master bath, reconfigured the entire layout of the rest of the house, moved and expanded the kitchen, and added an indoor laundry room. It was our first real experience with a major home project, so we have little basis for comparison, but we have come away very happy.

Cornelio, the owner, has been great. He's communicative, friendly, and does his best to please. We came in with plans from our architect but without having picked a lot of the finishing touches or having made major decisions about things like floors, windows, doors, or cabinets. He helped us with those, and was perfectly happy to go with anybody we selected or to suggest vendors. We used his vendors for most of the windows, our cabinets, and fabrication of our stone countertops - in all cases, they did excellent work at very competitive rates.

He was both the lowest bidder on the job and came in with the fastest time estimate. His initial timeline had the job finishing in 4 months, whereas the other contractors bidding were saying it would take 6-7. It DID end up going about a month past his original estimate, but even with a month of delay, the job was completed faster than his competitors were saying it could be done.

We had some weird requests because our home has a lot of distinctive quirky accents that give it character, which we wanted to maintain even at the same time that we were updating nearly every aspect of the house. Cornelio went out of his way to make those happen, and when work didn't meet our standards he was very happy to tear things out and see it done right. The door and exterior wood trim on the house were particularly tough to mimic or duplicate, because they were in a distinctive hand-hewn style put together by craftsmen in the 1930s. Cornelio's guys did an impressive job of matching the look.

He's also thrown in some considerable extra work that wasn't in the contract, free of charge. Right at the outset, he removed a giant wisteria and a large tree in the back yard that other contractors were saying we'd need to hire another company to do - that probably saved us a few thousand dollars. His guys also helped us with quite a lot of furniture moving when we were packing stuff away to get out of the house.

Early on, after a batch of demolition, it was discovered that a batch of preexisting old framing wasn't up to standard and we would have to do additional framing and foundation work. This necessitated a change order to the contract, but Cornelio was very reasonable about it. The extra sum was in line with the large amount of unanticipated work involved, and this was a spot where a less scrupulous contractor might have named a much larger figure - we pretty much had to say "yes" given the status of the house at the time. But he didn't gouge us. Through the whole process he has been scrupulously honest and has never seemed like he was trying to nickel and dime us in any way.

The people working for Cornelio have all been great. They're polite and friendly and do excellent work. I think they've mostly been working for him for years, and some of them are extended family. He doesn't use subcontractors for things like plumbing and electrical work, and his in-house people know what they're doing.

He also clearly has excellent familiarity with the building codes, local city bureaucracies, and the building inspectors, at least here in Burbank. His work consistently passed inspection at the first time and we never had had inspection- or permit-related delays.

We were a little worried going into the project - Cornelio is fairly young and didn't come with a long history under his belt. I think this is his first Google Review. He was the lowest bidder by quite a lot, and we worried that we might be making a mistake in not going with a more experienced contractor who was quoting us $80,000 more. Now that it's done, I'm very glad we chose the way we did.

Cornelio and his crew are awesome! They work hard and get the job done. They transformed our 600 sq ft garage into a gorgeous studio guest house with walk a in closet, a gorgeous bathroom, and an even more amazing kitchen. We love the new addition to our property, especially when we have family in from out of town. Very reasonable pricing and Cornelio is very easy to work with and has great connections to all the permit offices. Couldn't be happier!

Highly recommend! Cornelio ensures the project is completed properly from start to finish. He is responsible and has integrity. Cornelio is easy to reach if his clients have any questions. He has an entire team that help support his projects. If any issues arise, they will handle them swiftly and appropriately.

Cap Angeles Construction did and excellent job with our remodel project. They remodeled our bathroom, added a walk in closet, built a deck and expanded the main bedroom. The quality of their work is impeccable. I have even hired them for 2 more projects and I have received the same great quality of work.

Cornelio and his crew did an amazing job on our house! We used them to install a fireplace in our living room and also remodel our master shower. The guys were fast, professional, and took extra care of attention to detail. I can't recommend them enough!

Cornelio and his team completed a bathtub removal and shower stall replacement for me. He was highly recommended by a business associate of mine, and performed at an even higher level than I would have expected, his team consisted of expert artisans, who did an exceptionally well crafted job in each step of construction, which I personally checked. The results were better than I could have imagined, everything came together perfectly in harmony and I couldn't be happier with the end product.

We worked with Cornelio on a garage conversion to studio ADU in Burbank in 2023. We found him through a neighbor's referal and he had done several conversions and remodels in our neighborhood. Subsequently, we've referred him to our neighbors as well!

Cornelio is a second generation contractor and you'll often find his father, uncle or cousins on site scrutinizing his work. He is fairly priced and is easy to communicate with on the vision for your space. If there's an issue you see, he will fix it! If there's a problem that comes up with the design, he will patiently go over the options. The quality of the build has been amazing. We did very smooth stucco walls (in hindsight I would not recommend unless you think you won't bump your walls), and they were flawless.

His contracts are for the building and materials associated but he will also help pick up items for your project (e.g. doors, siding, toilet, vanity, etc) from Contractor's Warehouse, Home Depot or other locations within LA for free, saving you the delivery fees.

If you're on Burbank, he's the one to call for your construction project!

CAP has done multiple projects on my home. One of their most recent projects was new construction windows on my home. We had them rip out the old aluminum windows and replace them with high quality, custom double pane windows.

In another project, CAP did a full demo on one of my bathrooms, down to the studs. In just 2 weeks time, we had a brand new sparking bathroom!

In another project, we needed roof repair work done, and CAP came through and helped fix roof shingles on a flat part of my roof.

CAP was always very professional to work with, especially Cornelio who is well organized, great at communicating…and always comes through even if the job is a tough one.

Suffice to say, I will be using CAP for my next project.
