We used them last year to cut a tree that was full of fungus and rot. They were very quick and fair in price.

We have had Hilltop tree service to our property several times and they do an excellent job each and every time they’re here. We would recommend them them to everyone.

Hilltop Tree Service did an excellent job not only clearing dead and problem growth, but cleaning up all debris. They also were very respectful to neighboring property owners concerns. I highly recommend their service!

Me and my mom just moved to Placerville. Our property had a lot of brush and trees that were dangerously leaning to power lines or growing dangerously close to the house. Our main concern was fire hazard so we decided to hire professionals to clear the property and build a defensible fire line. Hilltop did an amazing job clearing out the brush, cutting down and trimming large trees and disposing of branches. All the tree stumps were cleanly cut to the ground, all the branches were put through a chipper shredder, and upon our request they spread and mixed the chips with the soil using a tractor. These guys were fast and had all the right heavy duty equipment to get the job done. They showed up right at 8:00 am with all the equipment ready to go. All of the guys were seasoned professionals, very friendly and super helpful. They even took the time out of their busy day to fix and sharpen my mom's small chain saw... wow thank you! We are very glad and thankful for the job Hilltop did for us. Me and mom will use their services again in a heartbeat and will HIGHLY RECOMMEND them to everyone we know!

Hill Top Tree Service is top notch in all areas of their tree service. They worked diligently to remove a large pine tree, I needed to be taken down. They were polite and courteous & they did a fabulous job! 5 Stars for sure!

Eric runs his business professionally and personably. He is prompt to return calls, discuss adjustments to estimates and has years of experience evident when he walks your property with you discussing your needs and wants. He and his crew have worked my 4 acres twice now- removing 4 large oaks from within 20-30 feet of my home, trimming up my driveway and trimming brush. Most recently the crew came again to trim a MONSTER triple trunk oak in my fenced garden with another oak in the back inside of it. Due to slope they needed a CAT with tracks to take brush up to the chipper as the chipper couldn’t make it down-they did a great job of not destroying my dirt road and left it better than they found it. All the guys on the crew were kind, professional, and immediately acted if I had an issue or question. I will have them back anytime and recommend the crew and business.

Experts in the tree removal service is an understatement! Hilltop is "Professional, on-time, clean, fast, good running equipment and friendly, hard working guys! For everything.... I cannot believe how good the price was and added bonus peace of mind! They removed 5 over 100 ft. tall Ponderosa Pines in 2 days, all within feet from my house! Here's the bottom line in tree removal...Don't cheap out! If too good to be true it is! The company must be Insured & Licensed or YOU the Homeowner could most likely be liable should anything happen.

Don't EVER use this company. They will leave a path of destruction just like a fire. They say they will trim/thin, but what they really mean is remove everything. Got carried away when trimming fruit trees, so much so, there was nothing left, so had to remove.
Worker first tried telling me the tree was bad, until I said no, because we it was full of fruit in summer. What was once beautiful landscaping, has been destroyed by this company.
