Soot Removers LLC did an amazing job cleaning two chimneys and the vent of my dryer. I highly recommend this company because of Tikar Carroll. He arrived on time, was detail oriented, and extremely clean. I had no idea that someone could clean two chimneys and our house would be spotless. We asked Tikar a seemingly infinite number of questions. Tikar answered every question in detail because of his tremendous knowledge and skill. Finally, if you haven’t cleaned out your dryer vents in years, (I’m not talking about sticking something that is furry and grabs a foot of lint inside the dryer, I’m talking about using a machine that gets about a bucket’s worth of combustible lint out) you are in danger of a house fire. The company got ahold of us very quickly after we contacted them. The rep over the phone gave us info and kept us in the loop with the tech. They got back to us soon with pricing and availability which was within a week. Our technician came and shared lots of info and tips on how to use/ maintain the fireplace. Tikar is an expert with pellet stoves! I have an older Enviro stove and we couldn’t figure out the exact problem. After multiple visits to my house he was able to fix the problem! He did not charge me a service call every time, he was more interested in fixing my problem. I have not met a more honest, professional and reliable young man in a long time. He also does chimney cleaning. It’s hard to find a local pellet stove repair guy and I highly recommend Tikar and Soot Removers.

Tikar and Tatiana run a very good business based on strong customer service, very good communication throughout the process and high quality work. I strongly recommend Soot Removers for not only sweeping the chimney but doing a thorough job of cleaning and inspecting the entire pellet stove. Definitely will call them next time!

I had dryer vent cleaning done for the house and I just want to say that Tikar was incredibly thorough and professional!!! Kept me updated throughout the way and had some great photos of the vent and all of the gunk that was pulled out. Had cameras in the equipment that passed through the vent and was able to show me what it looked like all the way through, that was super cool.

Also answered all my questions and has insanely quick communication. I asked for the snapshots and footage of the inside of the vent and he sent it right away… very impressed. Honest and good person/business. Will definitely continue using this business.

After making an appointment with a very congenial woman named Tatiana. My technician Tikar contacted me the night before to give his ETA. He showed on time and was very courteous and respectful. He performed a chimney Sweep and inspected it for potential defects and gave his recommendations. He also performed a dryer vent clean out. I highly recommend you have a dryer vent Clean out to anyone; it was amazing to see how much lint had accumulated in 17 years. I will definitely have them return next year to do annual maintenance. Showed up on time and was prepared. He provided covering so that no ashes spread to the floor. He did a thorough job cleaning the chimney and the fireplace. He cleaned up when he finished. He even noticed a flaw in my gas supply line and fixed it. I am completely satisfied with Soot Removers. They do a great job.

Tikar is amazing! He is not only professional and clean but extremely informative. He went out of his way to explain the workings of my insert Breckwell and he knows the science of an efficient fire. He also discussed the needs we have for our exterior chimney and made recommendations not just based on the jobs he can charge for, but recommendations for the health of the chimney long term. Tikar was very professional and thorough. Our dryer is in the middle of the house so the only way to vent the dryer is up out of the roof. Crazy design but yearly maintenance will prevent blockages. Tikar took care of 31 years of lint. Fortunately nothing caught on fire. Don't wait like we did. We're going to have him come back for the chimney too.

Tikar comes out every august to clean out our lint vent. It gets pretty clogged up. Does a great job and cleans up in the end.Last year he found a sock!

I have been very impressed with the service I've received from Soot Removers over the years. Because I have a dog and cat, hair goes everywhere including inside the dryer vents. Soot Removers comes annually to clean vents (including the dryer). I can honestly say they are timely (never kept me waiting for them to arrive) and I honestly feel my home is safer as a result of the work they do.
