These guys are the best! AC not working, they came out on time, very professional, analyzed and identified the problem (bent switch), fixed it, now everything works perfectly. NO CHARGE!!!! Very professional, very honest, finest in their profession. Very lucky to have them here in Rancho Santa Margarita! Highly recommend them.

Air conditioning broke the week before a heat wave of course. Scheduled an appointment and the owner came out himself and was prompt and professional. Wore a face mask the entire time during the diagnostic and repair which had to be uncomfortable. Once he diagnosed the issue he drove to Irvine to the manufacturer to get the replacement part in order to finish the job that day. It was 92° and the following day was going to be 98°, so I really appreciated the effort he put in to repair my unit as quickly as possible. His prices seemed fair but I didn't shop around so I can't comment directly on that. I didn't feel like I needed to shop around due to other reviews of the business. I also wanted to help a local small business and I'm very glad I did. I would definitely recommend to others and will use him in the future for my HVAC needs.

Had my Thermostat checked and replaced with a new one today by "Abe". He was punctual, polite, extremely helpful and knowledgeable, never tried to over sell us with uncessissary ad-ons, and was very professional. The appointment was only a 2 day window. The prices are very reasonable and you get great service.

Fair pricing! Great results! They installed a new furnace system in my home. They have the best pricing among all competitors. On time installation, quality service, and a excellent crew. I highly recommend Abe and his team at Sunset Heating and Cooling. Sunset replaced my failed furnace and AC unit with a new system and i am very happy with the process and results. From quoting, to scheduling, and through installation, Sunset was five star- responsive, on time, professional, courteous, quality work, all at the best prices I found. Plus Abe patiently answered all my questions. Sunset is super!

I called Sunset to give me an estimate to change my furnace, one of my friends recommended this company. We already had two other estimates
but Sunset had the best price, same warranty, and brand as the others.
I didn't have to overthink my decision and went with Sunset. During the job they had my furnace removed we noticed there was a lot of debris and chucks of drywall inside the box. They did an excellent job cleaning and sealing the box while still maintaining my carpet clean. I'm very satisfied with the work Abe and his assistant did and I highly recommend Sunset Heating & Cooling!!!

P.S.- It passed city inspection and HERS test in the first check.

Abe and his son at Sunset Heating & Cooling were fantastic! We initially had another company come out and quote us for a new condenser and furnace. We were then referred to Abe by a friend, and he quoted us half of the other company's quote! He was even able to get us scheduled within a few days for the instillation. My next door neighbor recommended Abe, who has done work on his home, his daughter's home, and other rental properties he owns. I actually had 5 other companies come in to bid for two new air conditioners and one new furnace, as the current units were 31 years old! Sunset Heating and Cooling was the choice I made, and I'm so happy that I did! I was having a contractor pour concrete on the area were the a/c goes, and he came at no charge to disconnect the old units and put them to the side. When he came to do the work a couple of days later, he and Bryan were punctual, professional, meticulous, and a sheer pleasure to work with! Even a couple of the other guys, who came to haul off the old units, were so friendly. Abe does a great job with explaining things, and he wants to educate you about what he's doing and welcomes any questions you have. My office in my home used to be hotter than all the other rooms, and Abe made sure that I would be happy with the outcome. My new a/c units are quieter and more efficient than I ever thought I would have. Plus, I have never met someone so genuine and caring! Abe and his company came very highly recommended, and I can see why. I have already recommended him to another neighbor, who is looking to install new a/c units.
