Ronald at SaveATree is fantastic! He will come give you an honest assessment of your trees and take the time to explain what they need, what his team will do, and how they can make your trees more healthy and provide much needed shade. We have 5 Chinese Elms in our front yard and one Japanese Maple and they took care of them. Fertilized them and pruned them so they would not interfere with the house and they also maintained the “full look” of the tree so they still look as beautiful as ever. I highly recommend Ronald and his team! Great people and extremely friendly. They’re licensed, insured, and have great equipment to get the job done.

Emily and her crew of Daniel and Daniel were fantastic. They showed up on time and stayed longer than expected. They did an excellent job of pruning our very large flowering gum eucalyptus. The tree looks amazing. And they did a great job of cleaning up when they were done. No leaves or branches anywhere. Thank you for your work!

A neighbor recommended SavATree to us and we are very happy with their service … from the free consultation with arborist Ronal, who was very knowledgeable and informative, to the actual pruning of our four redwood trees, and yard cleanup. Everyone was professional, courteous, and responsive to our questions and concerns. “Natural” pruning made our redwoods look terrific and several neighbors have complimented the outcome. On our smallish lot we now feel less “at risk” from the redwoods dropping debris on the house and cars during winter weather and the trees look healthier and structurally enhanced. Highly recommend SavATree!

My neighbors and I were worried that a suspect tree would be a risk for snapping and smashing me to bits right where I work from home...So Emily came through with an expert analysis and calmed any of these concerns, reassuring me that the redwoods in my yard were safe and healthy. Although it was a free assessment, Emily was super generous with her time, very thorough and I know I will sleep better at night thanks to her, amazing job!

I’ve used SavATree (formerly Arborwell) for 20 years. They have always been very knowledgeable, responsive, and professional. Tree trimmers David and Daniel have done a wonderful job on my big trees and Japanese maples over the years. Ronal has been very helpful and conscientious as my account manager, regularly visiting my property (especially if I’m having a plant issue) and recommending appropriate plant health care treatments (both acute and preventive.) I highly recommend them.

Ronal was our arborist and Dave was our trimmer, SavATree did a phenomenal job with six of our large trees, the pruning was fantastic with the right amount removed and shaped and incredible visual beauty when finished. They arrived promptly and worked efficiently despite challenging conditions including a power line and communications line. They cleaned up the job site and did no damage to any of our nearby plants due to their careful approach and precautions. Ronal is very knowledgeable and we look forward to working with the team in the future.

We continue to be please with the professionalism and work of SaveATree. We have worked with them on multiple occasion for tree care and tree removal. Each time we have worked with them, their clearness, punctuality, value, professionalism, and follow through have been great.

The guys did a great job pruning all the dead wood from two rather tall trees. They also cleaned up after themselves and the yard looked fantastic afterwards.

Thank you Emily and her crew Daniel Bautista, Eric Briseno, and Jose Prado for the careful pruning work on our trees. One of the more difficult ones was a very large pear tree that already had a branch break. They were able to prune to lighten the weight on the overhanging branches, yet preserve the beautiful shape and the shade the tree provides. They also pruned two ash trees and, with care and a great deal of skill, kept the branches from falling into the vegetable garden. Many, many thanks to this hardworking crew!

A legit arborist is harder to find than you think, but this outfit has one of the best in the Bay Area on their team. Kalen Glenn has helped me with trees at my business and home, and each time he provides service, it’s followed through with lots of knowledge and thoughtfulness. Kalen has helped solve issues with my trees heath, and has reversed some of my inexperienced wrong-doings, to help bring the beauty and shapes back to my trees. It’s nice not to worry about broken limbs, or dangling branches, and even better to know I have a pro in my corner when Kalen is around. I highly recommend Save a Tree for their overall high standards and quality of work.

I called SavaTree to diagnose an ailing tree and help with tree care. Ronal and crew are true professionals who truly care about tree health and understand their role in the ecosystem. Ronal is one of the most knowledgeable arborists I’ve encountered. He explained and walked through the process and presented a detailed proposal which you can look over and approve at your own time. After the service, he will also walk through the work they have completed with the customer before signing off on the project. Dylan Garrett and his SavATree crew successfully engineered the removal of a 200+ foot giant sequoia tree that spontaneously keeled over with the cumulative rains and wind, and was ‘leaning’ diagonally against our roof and gutters for nine days, in San Mateo. This was a potentially dangerous situation, a mere 15 feet from power lines. And the process took 9 hours, largely due to PGE’s delays. But Dylan, ever patient and supportive, orchestrated a team of
contributing workers—two crane operators and seasoned arborists with power saws, log handlers and chippers, PGE specialists, etc.—and the curiosity of scores of neighbors. The preservation of safety was admirable. And entire process was amazing. It made me appreciate the efficiency of pros. Thank you!

I have been a client for almost 10 years to safely maintain a large heritage tree and more recently to maintain some smaller trees. A special call out to Emily Rushka, Jonathan Cardenas and Ronal Veliz Garcia who are all knowledgeable and responsive. The teams that do the trimming are truly amazing -- skilled and careful. This is a great firm.
