The crews that are working in the Willits area and up in Brooktrails are the best tree service I've seen they really know how to get the job done

During the recent storm they removed a huge leaning tree on our property . They worked til 3 am or more during the rain and wind . Thank you for your hard work and removing a huge hazard to our neighborhood.

I've had a lot of different tree services and these guys were the best.. wonderful attitude, cleaned up after the job and it was a delight to know them...so if you need anything please give them a call.. you won't be disappointed...

Contracted by Edison to remove a palm tree. Very professional and safety measures were obvious. Clean up was thorough. The crew was very pleasant.

In February 2024 Rick Mowbray trimmed our four trees. They have never been done this well in 48 years.

Mowbray’s came out with SMUD’s Vegetation Management efforts and removed a nuisance Campher. They worked fast and efficiently while maintaining a notable level of professionalism, experience and respect. All of this on a Friday afternoon, too!!!Couldn’t have been a better experience! I wanted to write to say a huge thank you to the Mowbray crew that came out to take care of a huge branch on our powerlines. Crew 512 did an amazing job, were quick, and very professional. Victor and his crew mate did a great job.

Mowbray's crew did an excellent job of trimming the trees along the Edison lines that run through our ranch. They even removed some limbs and debris that were left by a previous tree trimmer. They were very professional.

Mowbrays in Utah. Great group of guys hard working and they do a great job love that it is family owned and operated.

These guys came out to trim an oak tree off the power lines for my neighbor who was not home so they asked to come through my yard. No problem. They were very courteous and their lead guy was extremely pleasant and professional.

Edison Contracted Mowbray to removed a 120ft > pine that was Diseased tree, That was within 5 Ft of the side of our house and 30 Ft to my neighbors house The Expertise with removing a Tree of this size was Professional. Safety and Attention to Existing Houses not Damage them and anything on the Properties. And the Foreman came and spoke to me about concerns before starting work.
Being in construction for 29 Years and around this type of work and others and a Crane Operator myself. SAFETY was there Main goal.
The Mowbray Crew discussed the Scope of work to be done and there Safety Meeting and work commenced.
They came with there Own Traffic Control and Spotters to watch out for Pedestrians that may come into the Work Zone.
At the End of the Removal and Clean Up, It was like they had never been there Besides the Tree was removed.
The Forman came to me and asked if there were any concerns after the job was done, there were none.

Update: the company finally sent a crew to my house 4 weeks later. These folks weren't the same folks as last time. They were professional and puntual. After talked to them, my husband agreed to let them remove the tree. I remember their names David and Oscar. They worked on the tree for 3 days and cleaned up every day before they left. There was a little accident that hit my sunroom's window but David notified us immediately and called a window company to have my window fixed. Other than that, everything was nice and smooth. We are in Walnut Creek, CA. I updated rating from 1 star (old crew) to 5 stars for David and Oscar team.

Unresponsive and unreliable.
PG&E contracted this company to remove a pine tree in my yard to prevent growing branches from reaching the power lines. On Thursday, 2 people came to my house to look at the tree and said they would do the service on Friday at 1 pm. I waited for them on Friday but no show no courtesy call. However, we got the phone number of one of them and called to ask if they were coming and he said: "plan changed we'll come on Monday but we don't know when".
Again, today is Monday and we've heard nothing from them until 2 pm. I called the guy and he said he does not know anything and gave me the company name saying I should call the company. I got on the internet searching for the company number and called them but no response. Fortunately, I found these helpful comments here and from Yelp and I will definitely not let these guys set foot on my property again.
We just moved in to the house and now I understand why the pine tree looks so ugly & half dying. It was trimmed by PG&E's order in the past. I am so sorry for those who had bad experiences with this company and thank you for spreading the word.
FYI, one of the guys told my husband that PG&E paid them $10K (yes, ten thousand dollars) to remove the pine tree. He told us because we ask how much it costs to trim 3 other trees in the yard together he said it is $5K and that PG&E paid them $10K for the pine tree removal.

Came out did a job on Cajalco Road in Mead Valley contracted by Edison did a great job clearing the trees from the power lines going to my house very professional highly recommended

This company did such an amazing job. My husband said they have tons of bad reviews but I beg to differ. I thought they did awesome ! So professional and took time to be careful and never hit or damaged the electrical lines or our fence. They even moved our potted plants away and then back after they were done. I wish I could give them a double 5 (10*) That's how impressed I was. Thank you to the crew who came here today.

Mowbray Tree Services was contracted through SMUD to prune some large trees at my home near power lines. I was somewhat concerned based on other reviews, but they did a clean job overall. I wish they were more communicative in regards to what they would be pruning, just so SMUD/them/myself would be in the same understanding. I just explained any concerns when they arrived, and they respected them.

Did an excellent job with my tree. They did break a stepping stone and didn't say anything, just threw it away. That didn't sit right, kinda sneaky. I wish they would've just said "sorry about that." But otherwise they did an amazing job, and at a reasonable price, and cleaned up everything.

SMUD contracted Mowbray to trim some of our branches away from their lines. They only cleaned up part of the mess they made and left the rest for us. A big branch of our fruit tree was ruined as well. Would not use this company.

Real bunch of classic individuals I guess working for this company I've seen them sitting in front of my house to trucks with to chippers for employees for a total of 45 minutes doing absolutely nothing but playing on their cell phones I guess they might as well be playing the milkman they sure are milking the company they work for truck number 394 is one of the trucks

Parked in my private driveway with one truck and blocked off my typical driveway in front of my garage with another truck. They weren’t even working on my house

Called this company 6 days ago.... No response. One if the employees damaged my car. Minor damage, but nonetheless. They need to respond AND PAY FOR THE DAMAGES.
