I had a very complex electrical issue since my house was built in 1910 and we couldn't even find the right panel. Dennis and his coworker worked diligently to brainstorm solutions, and even though it was late and they must have been tired, they stayed until the very end to fix my issue and provide additional recommendations. Honest, communicative, professional, and competent. I have already recommended them to neighbors.

I used ELC Electrical Service and had an excellent experience.

Sam (Serghei) is an awesome electrician. He is very experienced and did a very clean job during his install. He went above and beyond by double checking his install for safety purposes. He is definitely one of the good guys!!! I would use his services again for future electrical projects!!

Sam's the man! Him and his team took care of all of our electrical needs for our SFR in the Bay Area including:

- Install Tesla Level 2 Wall Charger and dedicated breaker (we purchased our own Charger from Best Buy)
- Run new lines to power (2) exterior security cameras, and install (2) wired Reolink Floodlight 180° Cameras
- Add GFCI outlets to our basement to power our new sump pumps

Sam is very knowledgeable and truly one of those who take a lot of pride in their work. He's very detail oriented and friendly! During our onsite consultation, we told him what work we needed and after our walk-through, he also caught a few electric-related items that could use some attention.

He is very thorough, and honest. Doesn't try to upsell, and his work and price was incredibly reasonable for the scope of work he performs. Friendly guy and his team is also very responsive via email, and phone. I like that his team sends email confirmations for all scheduled appointments, and emails for payment in a very timely manner.

Our project included a consultation, permit application managed by his team, 1 day to complete scope of work, and closing with an inspection around our schedule.

We found him on Thumbtack app, but I'd say just give his team a call.

I had contact with Rachel in the office and Dennis in the field and both were very friendly, patient, efficient and clear with their communication. Dennis replaced the electrical panel, completing all the work in a professional and timely manner without causing any undue stress on my part. I would definitely hire ELC Contractor again.

We had a great experience with Sam. He was extremely thorough in diagnosing that the lack of power in our office actually stemmed from burned out wires in the attic; we had a few other electricians take a look and no one else figured that out. We feel very confident in his work. We also felt like he gave us a good price and he was honest about what had to be fixed now versus what could be a more long-term project.

David came and was extremely efficient in completing the job!

I really highly recommend ELC!!!! They were on time, fixed my problem fast but best of all ELC found various discrepancies on a new electrical panel installed by a contractor who built an ADU on my property. The ADU was finished over two months ago and passed all the inspections and even got the certificate of occupancy from the city!! ELC actually went to the building department and told them about the discrepancies which were against codes and a safety hazard! To make a long story short, because of ELC, the building department called the contractors and are having them come to my house to resolve the issue. If I didn't choose ELC to come over and fix my original electrical problem, I would have thought that my ADU was good to go with no electrical problems and living with a safety hazard that could have resulted into a horrible scenario that may have involved my family and grandchildren!! Thank you so much ELC for taking that extra step and looking out for the safety of my family!!!

Great job at a reasonable price

I had a fantastic experience with ELC Contractor installing my Tesla Level 2 EV charger. From start to finish, their work was incredibly high quality and detail-oriented—you can tell they genuinely care about doing the job right. They were extremely professional and respectful of my home, wearing protective booties so they wouldn’t track in dirt and vacuuming while opening up the walls to keep everything clean, which really stood out to me. They’re also fully insured and promptly provided proof of insurance for my HOA, making the approval process seamless and giving me extra peace of mind. On top of all that, they were reasonably priced, especially given the level of quality and care. I would 100% use them again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for electrical work done right.

Very helpful response to an emergency situation. We experienced a complete outage to only one of the two hot phases, so half of the circuits in the house were without power, while the other half remained powered. Sem responded to a phone request within 20 minutes and was able to verify that the issue was due to PG&E overhead lines and not to the house main panel or subpanel.
