I have to say this guy is great he fixed out Fire place from the phone at no charge. we currently run a 900 unit community i can say enough about mike thanks again we really appreciate it

Very thorough! Mike and his assistant were on time, professional, and made quick work of cleaning and preparing our fireplace for those chilly San Diego nights. He checked everything, went on the roof and made helpful suggestions. Very professional.

Incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. Mike talked to me on the phone for a few minutes and ultimately helped me solve the damper issue our fireplace had without needing him to come out to fix it. A class act with the customer's best interest in mind. Will be the first place I call for any future fireplace related issues.

Mike, the owner of Chimney Champ, came over and arrived on time, inspected our chimney and cap, offered instruction with our top damper, and gave us information on gas log products and installation. In addition, since there was no need for a chimney sweep, he said he was already in the area and said there was no charge.

We just moved into a new home in Del Mar the house had an old dirty chimney, no chimney cap, and the chimney was slightly cracked. Chimney Champ even used some concrete to fix the crack and he did it for no additional charge.

I saw the Chimney Champ's van parked 2 doors down, so I walked over and asked for his card. He offered to come take a look at my chimney. He told me my chimney was in great shape and pointed out the design features, explained how to properly use the fireplace, and suggested several safety upgrades since we have a baby. Michael is a really great guy and he'll be my new sweep!

We purchased a home in San Diego in 2018 and my real estate agent asked Mike with Chimney Champ to do an inspection. He did a great job and recommended a couple modifications to an old natural gas artificial log system. We waited a few months and decided to convert it to a log lighter. Mike did a really nice job in record time and even threw in an adapter for free that he had in the truck. Fast forward 2 years and I called Mike to ask his opinion by phone about a fireplace mantle remodel. He generously walked me threw several critical details to keep the home fire safe. I sent him pictures and he replied with expect advice over the course of a few days as we worked out the details. He even called me back on a Sunday to answer one of my follow up questions. Bottom line, Mike is a truly reliable fireplace expert who charges very reasonable prices for excellent quality work.

We had a leaky fireplace after the rain and found Michael on Yelp. After a thorough inspection inside & out, he discovered there was a void between the chase cover & chimney pipe where water was seeping in and the silicone sealant had worn away. He installed a new storm collar and sealed up the gaps/holes. Our fireplace is now usable with no leaks from the rain a couple days ago! Michael is kind, courteous & knowledgeable. We’re so happy with his service!
