Great service

Did work on our house in Poway. They remodeled our master bedroom. Professional crew from start to finish. They cleaned up at the end of every workday. Thank you SS Building for amazing work.

SJ and her whole team is a delight to work with. They are passionate, knowlegeable, and professional. They truly know how to bring your vision to life. Instead of going for a cookie cutter approach, they will take the time to explore many creative options to make sure the finished result is both high quality and tailored to the needs and wants of your space. It has been so joyful to collaborate with this team!

Scott and his staff were very professional and a pleasure to work with. We had our roof replaced and a new patio cover installed. They paid close attention to detail. They made sure the surrounding yard was clean after the work was completed. Definitely would recommend them to anyone looking to have a new roof installed!

We had SS Building remodel our master bedroom and bath. We had them move walls, replace sliding doors with french doors, and a wide variety of additional upgrades. They were very professional, and were sensitive to our design wishes. Most importantly, they treated our home as if it were their own. We would definitely not hesitate to bring them again should we ever need additional work done.

Initially has some issues as there was slight cracking noted in our new stucco, assures us their work is guaranteed which is a relief. Additionally Don went above and beyond to fix the cracks and smoothie the texture of our stucco after it was completed. Shout out to Don for going above any beyond with his customer service!

Our church has now had the pleasure of working with SS building for 3+ projects! Along with their amazing design team and innovative ideas for all types of spaces we’ve been most impressed with their timelines and willingness to work around the clock and do whatever it takes to get the job done! Ben and his team are great and we will continue to work with them in the future.

SS Building did our (partial) bathroom remodel, and we could not be any happier. Max and his crew, Will and Kevin, did a great job; they stayed on budget and finished on time. Sara Jane made great choices for the shower door and matched the tiles for a seamless transition. Ben and everyone in the office made sure that we are happy with the work throughout the project. They are the best people and very professional. Highly recommend them.

Unprofessional.

Back in November of 2020 we had SS Building replace a low slope portion of our roof. After the first rain we discovered that the roof was leaking even worse than before the repair. SS Building said that they needed to replace the pitched portion of the roof and facia we agreed with their assumption. The second installation resulted in more leaks! Their roofer Mike (they no longer have a roofing department (shocker) kept coming out to “fix” the issues. Luckily he sent us pictures. It doesn’t rain a lot here in San Diego so they would do a fix and we would wait…. The next rain would come and more leaks. We can’t finish the drywall in the house because of the leaks and now have mold in one of our rooms. SS Building finally sent an actual roofer to inspect our roof. My husband walked around the roof with the roofer that SS Building sent out. The roofer told him that our roof looked much older than it was. He couldn’t believe that it was only 4 years old. He pointed out shingles that were lifting, edges that were done incorrectly, the chimney edges, etc…. We showed him the pictures that Mike took of one of his “fixes” and he said that the wrong product was used on the flat roof. It was product that was supposed to be for a pitched roof. And that they it was burned when they torched it. I will attach the pictures. When he left he told us that the only suggestion he was going to make was to replace the entire roof. Now SS Building is saying that their roofer said “We are sorry that you are experiencing these issues, we plan to remedy them. The roofer informed us that he can re-heat all necessary edges, seal around solar stands and flash the chimney with torch and counter flashing. The roofer believes that by doing this work, it should take care of any and all issues.” Completely different than what he told us…
