I hired SD Ductmaster to clean my very clogged dryer vent. The service was both professional and efficient, and the owner is highly communicative and patient. I would recommend this service to anyone in the San Diego area.

Tyler was very responsive to my inquiry and called me back right away and set up a time to go out and inspect my vent. He communicated with my tenant as to scheduling his arrival. Before he did the service he called me and gave me a report about what he found, and I appreciated that. He cleaned it right away and sent me an invoice. I would use him again because he is very responsive and does exactly what he says he will do and then reports back afterward. He's a good businessman.

I took advantage of the special promo from Instagram. When Adam came over, he quickly realized that the job was more than a regular maintenance cleaning.

I was a bit suspicious at first but he showed me everything that was wrong, down to a broken pipe that was literally pushing the air and lint into my garage instead of going outside.

Adam gave me an estimate on the spot and spent about an hour fixing the broken pipe, but also doing the cleaning. Once he was done, I was stunned to see how much the air flow outside had increased.

Before cleaning and pipe fixing, I would barely feel any air coming out (that's because that air was mostly coming out in my garage from the broken pipe). Now the air comes out very strongly.

It was not a cheap fix and visit, but we had never had the drier vent cleaned in the 5 years we've lived at our house, and who knows if it ever was done from the previous owners.

So all in all, I'm very happy with the service that Adam was able to provide. He's very friendly too, which never hurts. He also showed me a bunch of videos he recorded of the work he completed at my house. Very satisfied.

Would have been 5 stars had the pricing been upfront.
Called their number, mentioned the $69 special advertised on their website and that I wanted to schedule an appointment. Guy on the phone said that was no longer the special price and right now it was $100. Whatever still a good price. He noted though it would depend on what the tech saw once they got there and it may require a deep cleaning which was $149. Decided that was fine and still a good price. Tech arrived and was amazing. Fished out a ton of junk from our dryer vent, cleaned up our dryer, and did an amazing job so I don't want to complain about them at all. But the pricing they noted was going to be $250. Our vent needed a deep clean which I figured it would but he told me the $149 price is only for shorter vent pipes no more then a few feet in length. Ours is pretty long to the outside wall so it cost extra and would be $249. Wish the guy on the phone had been more upfront about these potential costs. From what I could find online other companies had the same $250 going rate for service so wasn't much of a deal or savings for their "special".

These guys are crooks. Vent cleaning advertised at $99. When they showed up, they talked my wife into a $388 bill. They completely took advantage of her

The Vent cleaning for $99 is just a trap.
Technician charged me $388 for cleaning a 10F dryer vent which was Not in bad condition. A 30.minute job for $388.
Also they did NOT clean the junk and dirth. Left them behind.
