This is an unsolicited testimonial. I had never met Eric and Teran Breceda prior to an estimate for a walkway I requested.

Eric arrived at my home with his master mason, Valdez, to perform a thorough examination of the work to be performed.

Subsequently, Teran emailed me the estimate which was within the averages of the other estimates. However, I was impressed with Eric's knowledge and personal character.

He also assured me that they would match the quartzite in the back patio.

Bottom line, they did everything they said. The work was timely and excellent.

Valdez chose the perfect matching quartzite and applied the cuts masterfully on the walkway and two stucco columns in the front yard.

Not only were they all professional in their work, they were all wonderfully personal and down to earth.

I don't do that many reviews, but this time I was compelled. Very honest. When you ask them questions, and they tell you how you can do it with them, or not... that is very reassuring and gracious of them. You will be charmed by Teran, and Eric Breceda is a genius. So they finished our job in 3 days, and my house looks like magnificent. HIGHLY recommended.

Breceda Landscape recently finished a complete yard re-do for me, leaving intact only most of a patio (added pavers to the perimeter), part of a sidewalk and one pine tree. Work included demo and soil removal, drainage, irrigation, concrete, pavers in concrete, natural ledger stone on columns and a barbecue, a fountain incl. electrical, hot tub, fire pit, 3 large vegetable boxes, 200+ ft of fencing with gates, low voltage lighting, boulders, planting etc. So you can consider them a one-stop shop. I had 3 bids and Breceda and another were pretty comparable price-wise, but I'm happy I chose Breceda Landscape as the project went smoothly and was professionally completed. I had a landscape design but Teran and Eric made several recommendations that were more cost-effective. It was a large project and there were lots of decisions that had to be made along the way, but I found it easy to work with the whole team. Overall I couldn't be happier with the outcome and I highly recommend them.

I wanted a drought tolerant landscape to conserve on water and maintenance. Eric Breceda is extremely knowledgeable about the native California plants and irrigation to accomplish my goal. I had in mind plants that would attract Butterfly's and Hummingbirds and that is exactly what I got! We used natural elements like decomposed granite to soften the hardscape and took advantage of the natural drainage flow line with a rock river bed. Working with Eric and Teran was a pleasure. I trusted their guidance and appreciated their attention to detail, namely watching the bottom line as my ideas needed to fit a budget. The end result is exactly what we discussed and their crews executed it beautifully and in a timely manner exceeding my expectations. I highly recommend Breceda Landscape.

We have been waiting for years to re-landscape our backyard. We contacted Kate Wiseman, a local landscape designer and she recommended Breceda Landscape.
Eric came out and viewed our backyard and general plan. Teran prepared a proposal that was right in line with our cost expectations.

His crew was outstanding. They were on time, hard working and seemed to enjoy working together. They knocked out our backyard in 3 weeks time. This included full demolition, irrigation, pavers, seat wall, turf, lighting and landscape. Everything went like clock work and the costs always were right on target.

My home has 1.5 acres of mature landscaping. I had no comprehensive system for watering, beyond constantly dragging hoses around. Eric Breceda is an expert at irrigation design and installation. I now have over 20 zones each thoughtfully designed for what is in that area, with the right kind of irrigation for that zone. A few zones were designed with future plantings and design in mind. I can now independently program and control them all from anywhere on my cell phone. This was a big job, taking over two weeks of trenching, installation, and programing. This crew was amazing. They arrived on time (early, actually) every single day of the job. (When does that happen?!). No one was leaning on a shovel, but was working every time I looked. The quality is great, as well as the support. Couldn't be happier, and I can enjoy my landscaping rather than be a slave to its care.

We had a front yard makeover by Breceda and we were extremely impressed with their work and professionalism. They were on time, considerate of our budget, and answered any questions we had quickly. The owner, Eric, was here most mornings to make sure everything was going smoothly. We had hardscape, softscape and lighting done. We love our yard and we received many compliments! We strongly recommend Breceda Landscape. They are a highly-professional company that designed and then implemented a complete re-landscape of our front-yard. Their design proposals were creative and responsive to our vision for the front-yard. In working with us, the principals were knowledgeable, answered all our questions, and listened carefully as we agreed on a final design. Breceda employs an experienced crew to implement the design. They arrived on-time consistently, were hard-working, cleaned-up the worksite at the end of each day, and the quality of the final result was excellent. We are very satisfied clients.

This is the second time I've had Eric and Teran do a landscaping remodel for our 4 unit condominium in Point Loma CA. About 8 years ago we did a minor refresh, and this time, we did a complete overhaul. Both times they were absolutely committed to perfection, professionalism, and very competitive pricing, considering the two other quotes I received were far in excess of what Eric proposed. He also has an eye for exactly what we wanted, simple, minimal, less overall maintenance, and conservation of water. The end result was just what we wanted, and the owners were very satisfied, particularly when we came under budget by about $200.00, which makes all the difference particularly for an HOA. Highly recommended, would absolutely refer them to others, and we would use them again.

Teran and Eric were great to work with on our project. They listened to and captured our thoughts in their design. The crew was there every day and on time. Our project included a fire pit, bbq grill area, rocks, plants, trees, and sod for a space that was over half an acre. Even more impressive has been their follow up. If we have sprinkler issues or need replacement lights, etc…they are responsive and always happy to help.
