I use this company often for major plumbing issues. Although they may not be the least expensive plumbing company, they get the job done right the first time and don’t underestimate costs. Another thing that I like is they have excellent customer service.

I worked with Josh and he was absolutely incredible.
He was able to perform a significant emergency repair over the weekend.

Powers Plumbing was a pleasure to work with. Excellent customer service. Super nice employees and owners. Powers Plumbing were excellent for the work needed. I had a clogged pipe from my washing machine and Diego saw that he needed a larger piece if equipment to cut through the clogged and root buildup. He went back and picked up the machine and had the pipe cleared in no time, less than one hour including the time picking up the machine. Diego was super nice, knowledgeable and professional. Karen back at the office was very nice and professional as well. Powers Plumbing provided five star service.

Blake was very knowledgeable, efficient, and friendly. A great plumber. Power’s is lucky to employ such an exceptional person.

I have been a customer of Powers Plumbing for at least 10 years. They are popular in uptown neighborhoods, especially for their skill and knowledge in working on old houses. Today I was feeling stressed because another plumbing company, based in Kearny Mesa, had given me a huge estimate and a complicated plan for clearing one clogged drain. I knew I should turn to Powers Plumbing for professional, honest service. Two hours after my phone call, Guillermo Leon showed up. He looked at my drain, told me the other company had been upselling me, and quickly got to work to solve my problem - in about 30 minutes! I was so relieved to be dealing with an honest, dependable plumber who charged a very reasonable price. Guillermo was smart, skillful, polite, and very professional. He obviously has had excellent training and experience in his field. I will definitely return to Powers Plumbing for efficient, honest service in the future.

Diego did great at doing the work we needed. I assume he is under instructions from his employer to stretch out the bill as much as possible. For instance a $25 charge for “consumables” (possibly the plumbers teflon tape for a couple of connections), and taking at least 1/2 hour (billable hour) to type up the invoice. The invoice was then not ready and had to be revised after I told him that his arrival time had been recorded on my security camera.
The work was fine but the company is not upfront about their additional pricing they add to pad the bill.

I heard a horrible gurgling sound in my bathroom. I called Powers Plumbing and they scheduled an appointment for later that afternoon. Devin was the technician, who arrived.He was courteous and knowledgeable. He assessed the work that needed to happen and then patiently explained the work to me. I really appreciate that Devin was also the technician to complete the work. Overall Devin and Powers Plumbing got the job done in an professional manner, educating me along the way. I would use them again.

Powers always has done great work for us. Today’s tech was Guillermo, who was prompt, friendly and — most importantly — an expert and efficient plumber. He replaced our garbage disposal air switch quickly, and then tackled an old hose bib attached to the house that was full of old paint and couldn’t be removed with pipe wrenches. He removed it with power tools I’ve never seen and then installed a new copper compression coupling enabling him to install the new bib quickly. Excellent solution.

Our experience with Powers Plumbing was very positive.
The appointment was made effortlessly, the technician, Jacqui M was excellent with a tricky installation, and succeeded with perseverance.
We would use them again if needed.

A great plumber in your contacts is one of the greatest finds you will ever have and an absolute must if you own or manage a property.

Leaks happen. Typically, unexpected, on a Sunday or a holiday, or some other (typically) expensive hour. I was very fortunate to find Powers Plumbing when I did. They were not one of my typical "go-to" contacts for repairs. After having exhausted my normal contacts and being absolutely shocked by their lack of customer service, cost to simply enter the dwelling, and the hassles of dealing with automated scheduling bots, I finally found my new go-to plumber for all my needs...and these were my regular contacts (sad that times have changed). When I called to schedule with Powers Plumbing, an actual knowledgeable employee answered the phone and was extremely helpful. They charge by the hour start to finish unlike others who charge an inflated minimum amount to simply walk through the door +++ an hourly rate to be billed rounded up to each 15 min interval...as if people have no choice but to be subjected to their crazy terms and rude workers. Powers was prompt, followed instructions, called me to verify the services needed prior to starting the repair (this work was being performed at a rental unit I manage), they were very respectful of my tenants, cleaned up their work space, documented the paperwork properly for reimbursement, and VIOLA!

An excellent job, well done, with professionalism others should experience (as this seems to be a lost art these days), and a happy tenant with a kitchen sink without clogging and back up issues.

What more could you want to know? Just call them - obviously you are in need of a plumber if you are reading this. I've already deleted all the other plumbers from my contacts :)

Had a stubborn clog in a washing machine. Everything went well and with a little bit persistence, the clog was removed. Jaqui was efficient and tidy.

Jason was excellent. He arrived on time, asked good questions, answered all of my questions and was very thorough in his work and clean up. I have a better understanding of our water heater and he offered information about water filtration I didn’t know. We will be using Powers Plumbing for all future needs.

Victor did a great job in fixing a problem with water to my refrigerator that was messed up by a prior owner.
