I just want to express my appreciation to Ali's construction for his excellent service, patiently addressing all my questions in detail, advising me on  adding a room and renovating a basement I feel so good about well worth deal there.

We can't thank Ali enough for our beautiful completely remodeled house!! He is the most creative, most detailed, and most responsible contractor we have ever come across. We are so thankful that he was the one we picked. Thank you, Ali, and the team.

We called Ali with Ali's Construction for an estimate on build a new home with basement in Palo Alto, Ali came out and we spent time going through different designs before I decided what I wanted. Ali's Construction did a great job building the new custom home for us. Everything is just so perfect now.

Ali's construction helped us rebuild our home in Saratoga from scratch. There are three aspects that I want to highlight about Ali and his team.
1. He delivered great value for money. His quality is second to none. He promised and delivered our home within a budget that others couldn't match.
2. In any construction project there will be surprises. Ali was very professional, and personally addressed these type of issues and ensured that all promises that he had made to us were kept.
3. Having a physical office in the heart of Cupertino also helped. We were able to go and have a chat either in their office or at the site when needed. His team was also very responsive with emails.

Recently completed a remodeling project with Ali. kitchen + two bathrooms. The results look great. Any problems that we ran into during the process got resolved. Ali is very honest and transparent and just a genuinely nice person overall, we really enjoyed working with them. They were also very quick! They told us a timeline at the beginning and were spot on with the completion date. If to be honest as a homeowner I expected to have more obstacles and delay before we started, thank you so much for your hard work and high customer service, will definitely call you again soon.

We added two new bedrooms, a bathroom, completely rebuilt our kitchen and made several changes to other parts of the house. Ali's Construction did a good job and was very professional.

Ali is a creative person and offered solution that others didn't;
Design, structural and construction under one roof
Very economical compared to other contractors
Flexible - Works with homeowners to reduce cost. We stayed in the house while the remodel was being done
Ali is personally driven to get you good results.
Very professional.

Cons
Add a buffer when they quote you a timeline. Several times the delays are because of their third party contractors.
You sometimes get unlucky with their sub-contractors. But you can hold Ali's Construction accountable.
You will have to be on top of everything. Don't have the expectation of it being managed like a software project. It's very different.
Be sure to over communicate

Overall, we are very satisfied with the results. I would recommend them and would work with them again. We were able to get Ali's attention when we hit the bottom a couple of times and were able to resolve the issues successfully. Most issues were about time taken to complete a job and NOT the quality of the job itself.

We came across Ali‘s construction from one of the many boards that the company put up outside the houses that they build. We saw many boards across Cupertino area which made us to discover Ali. Like every individual looking to build the house, we quickly looked at Yelp reviews and Google reviews and were not sure to go with Ali after reading the reviews. But all the reviews were quite old and looking at the number of houses Ali was doing, we really didn’t think these reviews were accurate. We decided to meet Ali and get the quote. When we first met Ali, he was very professional, showed up on time and looked at the house we were interested in remodeling as well as extending . Ali was able to provide us with the quote and also took us the neighborhood houses that he built. He was able to introduce us to multiple house owners and asked us to take their opinions about their experience with Ali. He was honest and very humble . We really liked Ali’s first impression and did our due diligence by asking questions to real people and not just Yelp review. House building is not easy and many times there are ups and downs but ultimately we have yo look at the overall experience and quality. We truly feel Ali is amazing and his team is very professional. Here are some of the things we are happy with:

* We like the fact that he is always available to answer our question and concerns.
* The only things we didn’t enjoy was the electrical guys as they really gave us a hard time . But Ali and his team took care of it and we were able to move forward.
* We always talk to Ali and his team and avoid talking to contractors directly. I would recommend the same to anyone who is planning to build house. Leave the management part to Ali and his team.
* We were also very happy with Ali and his team’s many valuable suggestions, they were always looking at the floorplan and our material list and giving us realistic feedback if the idea would work or not. They provided so many good ideas for which we would always be thankful to his team.
* We also liked that he has a full team on board like architect, structural engineers etc. so we never had to go outside and look for help.
* Also, Ali provides “allowances” in his contract which no other contractor provides. So this is literally money that you will save on the total price. So do consider this before making a decision.
* As with every contractor, there are glitches here and there, but most of our issues were handled in some way shape or form.
* Overall we would highly recommend them.

We have used Ali’s Construction to remodel our San Jose home in 2024. The teams were very professional, courteous and knowledgeable of the tasks they were performing. The project completed on time and with good quality. The project had many complications and fancy designs that we demanded which were delivered well and the program managers were flexible to our needs. We have used Ali's construction to rebuild our house in Santa Clara in 2022. Overall We were very happy with the quality of the work. The company uses very professional and reputed sub contractors who know their job.
Ali's office is very proactive in connecting with customers. The manager of my Job was Nima who is very motivated to deliver a work to customer's satisfaction.
- We did not have to be involves in obtaining any permission from City, the company obtained for us. Ali's maintains cleanliness of the site through of the construction period with frequent removal of debris and trash from the site.
- Ali's financial manager Max was very professional and always helpful.
-So far in 11 months from the date of our move-in in July 30, 2022, we did not face any issue. There were few small issues at the beginning but Ali's took care fast to our satisfaction.
-Price/cost wise I think Ali's job is one of the best in the valley.

Only cons We faced was the timeline of the project. It was 6 months on paper but it took 9 months, and i ended up paying rent for 3 extras months.
Also you should not expect to meet and see Ali during the project as his firm works on many projects concurrently. But it did not impact us as his managers are very qualified and we understood that he would be busy.

I strongly recommend Ali's.

Horrible service, won't recommend to anybody. Owner is very rude and have a attitude problem.

Unprofessional and wouldn’t answer calls during business hours or return calls

I don't think it's cool to promote racism.

Rude, unprofessional, overbudget, and not to mention LATE DELAYED completion. Nightmare to do business with, heed the other reviews and find a competent business man if you need work done. How is he is still is business is a mystery to me.

Saw some of their work in person, not very impressive. They leave a lot of mess around, don't really do a good job of cleaning up and the workmanship is really poor! They even blow their debris away to the neighbors in an area they're working on so that they don't have to clean it up. Their workers are very noisy, don't speak English, well a lot of them anyways, disrespectful to neighboring neighbors and takes a real long time in finishing a job. I would not even recommend them at all to anybody! The pictures in their website are not the ones I really see in actuality!

Almost got run over by one of their employees running a stop sign at full speed, on the phone. He was going fast enough that I wasn’t able to get the plate number, just the business name plastered across the vehicle. Lo and behold, there are other reviews saying the same thing about the driving, so clearly it’s a pattern. If they can’t drive, I certainly wouldn’t trust them to work on my home!

After doing a small project I was impressed and gave them a bigger project. They totally messed up this time. Communication was horrible. Project got delayed by several months with continuous excuses of unable to find crew. Quality went down the drain as they probably sub-contracted to a cheap contractor.
Stay away from these guys. They have done several projects as they claim but I am not sure about their quality on those either. A new home can be deceiving when they show you any finished project but the real quality comes out when you live in the home and find leaks and short cuts in construction shows up.
