Working with South Bay Restoration Company was fast and easy. Every step of the way outlined up front and the team arrived on-time and not only completed the job on schedule but the left the pool area and hardscape decking in better shape than when they arrived. Our tile is better than new and if you live in Morgan Hill the hard water is a constant battle. We are very pleased with the work

My pool had a lot of calcium to include the hot tub. SBSR did a great job in removing all of the build up. I would use them again.

Talk about a gem of a kind find - South Bay Surface Restoration owned by Mike Gaines. Mike and his team completely renovated our swimming pool by sandblasting years of calcium buildup off of the tiles. Our pool now looks brand new. Not only did they do an extremely thorough job, they possessed an extensive knowledge of pool maintenance and cleaned the entire yard afterward. We highly recommend this company if you are looking for quality work in refurbishing your pool tiles.

Brought some xtra large cooling tower media thats calcified, takes me 3 days of needlegunming to do both sides, he gets it all done in two hours.....going to hav to let this man do it !

I called them for a project that I was working on. I needed the pint blasted off parts of a 747 airliner that I’m using for a project. They have me a very competitive price, came to my home to do the work, and cleaned up afterwards. I am very impressed by their customer service and work. If I have another need for blasting, they will be the only number that I call.

They just cleaned our pool tile and it is absolutely beautiful! They worked so hard, did a fantastic job and were a pleasure to work with!

I spent three hours trying to remove rust from the bed of my 90 year old truck. Mike did it plus seats from a 55 Chevy in about an hour. He did it right in my driveway. Was awesome and fun to watch too. Mike worked hard and brought everything needed to do the job. Makes me want to find other things to blast. Awesome service.

Mike did an amazing job of restoring our cement walkway, which was poured over 60 years ago! It now appears beautifully clean and smooth. South Bay Surface Restoration provides a beautiful alternative to replacing old concrete. Having worked with the owner on a different professional basis, I can confirm that he is a highly dedicated individual, who always takes pride in his work.

Mike and his team did a very good job on my garage door.
They were on time, the work was done perfectly and they cleaned up everything when they finished the job. I like the fact that they took great care when prepping the garage door and around the house by covering the areas that needed protection.

Mike and the folks from South Bay Surface Restoration did an amazing job on our pool tiles. The tiles were unreadable from decades of deposits. After Mike's crew came through, the tiles all look brand new! I wish I had taken photos before the work started to show the contrast. I highly recommend these guys if you need surface restoration.

South Bay Surface Restoration did a fantastic job removing calcium from my pool water line tile.

Mike and his team helped us clean the smoke stains on attic framing caused by a fire and sealed all the attic areas with odor killer primer. He is very professional, very easy to communicate and detail orientated. After his cleaning and sealing work, our attic looks brand new and there is no smoke smell at all.

We'd like to have a special clear primer applied, however, this primer is not available in most local paint stores. Mike called many paint stores to get the stock information, and visited a few stores to finally get all the primer that we need. Thank you Mike so that we can have such a stunning result!

Mike and crew did an outstanding job of fixing a problem someone else created for us in our backyard - a slippery and dangerous surface around our pool. They worked as efficiently and cleanly as possible (spoiler: some of these jobs are messy, so be ready), hit the target completion time, and worked with an eye on detail. I don't review companies often, but they stood out to me as a group that deserves it.

I've been looking for a company that could remove the 10 years of calcium build-up in my pool without damaging it or draining it, and I finally found South Bay Surface Restoration. "Hallelujah!!" They did a fabulous job and treated the tile to reduce and inhibit the build up. They use salt instead of glass beads that can damage tile and necessitate draining the pool. They spent as much time cleaning up the area as they did blasting the calcium. I was super impressed and will be using them every few years to keep on top of the pool. I highly recommend. (They are also very reasonably priced)

Finding someone professional and honest to clean your pool tiles is not easy. I am so pleased with the beautiful job South Bay Surface Restoration did in one day! Our pool is 21 years old so I wasn’t sure what to expect. The pool tiles look like new again. If your pool tiles need some TLC, these folks are the ones you should call.
