This is my second time using Mission restoration services. Just like the first time they did an amazing job fixing the damage caused by a water leak. Josh / Brandon were very clear on what steps were going to take place. Everything was completed on time. Pleasure to work with, Thank you!

File this one under "Companies You Want in Your Corner." About a week ago, I had a contractor in my new home doing some floor remodel work. He discovered extensive water damage from the upstairs bathroom all the way to the kitchen below it. Of course, this happened while my husband is on a year-long deployment, leaving me with 3 little ones under 5 years old and a baby on the way. Needless to say, this put my overwhelm-meter at about a 10. My insurance agent put me in contact with Mission Restoration and Jim (I believe he is the owner?) reached out right away. Despite (or maybe because of) my lack of knowledge regarding water damage, home repairs, or anything even remotely related, Jim was kind, patient, and encouraging, promising me full support and a speedy solution. Within the hour, he sent out James O'Conner, one of his technicians. As Jim promised, James circled wagons around me! He was **extremely knowledgeable** about the claims-filing process and how to submit a successful claim (I feel like I now know enough to even walk someone else through it after one thorough conversation with him). But more importantly than being knowledgeable, he explained it all to me in a way that made it accessible for someone with my tiny knowledge-base in this area. I immediately trusted him with the job and felt 10000% confident that I had nothing to worry about with getting my claim put through. (Let's be honest, it's awesome when someone is as competent, friendly, and relatable as James was, but at the end of the day, you need that insurance claim to go through so that you're not left to foot a $7K repair bill and that's exactly why I trusted the job to James upon our first meeting). I hate to paint with a broad brush but contractors are not known for their forthrightness or integrity. Stereotypes be damned; James is the guy you want. In fact, although I had a fantastic experience with Jim upon my first connection with this company, I would go so far as to say that if you find yourself the unlucky owner of a leaky, moldy, or otherwise lacking home, specifically request James O'Conner when you contact Mission Restoration. My bottom line: he was honest about the job and the scope of the work (even if it wasn't all awesome news), and he let me know what to expect from my end as well as what I could expect from him. This is EVERYTHING when dealing with contractors! Save yourself some grief and avoid the "Contractor Run-Around" that so many of them are known for. Avoid bozos who make the job seem dramatically worse (cha-ching) or much less complicated than what will really play out. This is one business card I will be keeping for years to come (or until this guy ranks up too high or gets recognized for his excellent customer service and gets picked up by a bigger company...whichever comes first! A very big thank-you to Jim for sending me your best!

Michelle at mission restoration is amazing I dealt with her and she made me so comfortable and happy. Ritchie was my project manger during my flood and I can’t say nothing bad. He was super friendly and professional and even my 4 month old loved him, and she is super picky! And my insurance adjuster loved him. Thank you so much you guys made me so so happy!

I Was referred to Mission by my co workers husband who works in plumbing. Garage Water heater flooded entire bottom floor and entryways. Mission had a team to dry out my house that same evening. Their build team put everything back better than new and on time as promised. They even help handle all the insurance bs. Quick turn around. Quality Job Thanks Jim & Team!

I had my slab leak in my home in February and my plumber recommended I call Mission Restoration for the damages the leak had caused to my carpet and bathroom. They were amazing! They arrived to my house in 30 minutes, did a free evaluation, and helped me through the process. They were even able to save my carpet and leave it cleaner than before the leak. I would never wish water damage on anyone, but if you do have water damage...call Mission Restoration!

I had a great experience with Mission Restoration. I had a water heater leak and had a little flooding. I had to remove the dry wall in my garage and the carpet in my downstairs room. The ETA was for a week for all the restoration but everything took 3 days. Robert was a great project manager.

This company is really horrible, there's no way they average that many stars, has to be a scam.research they're licence or anybody's license you do business with don't take the word of some plumber who shows you an app.

Terrible company to work with. They tell you a time that they will begin work and that you will sit there for hours waiting for them to show up. The job continuously gets pushed out longer and there is no communication. It would be very difficult to work with this company if you have a full time job. I would HIGHLY recommend using a different company

Very displeased with the services rendered. Project that was promised to take two months at the most still isn’t completed nearly five months later. And it is not because of the complexity of the work, it is due to constant changes in personnel and whatever other debauchery going on. Weeks go by with no work being completed. “Completed” work is subpar. The money paid is well above the whalirt of the services rendered. I recommend this company to no one and hope that anyone else who takes a gamble has a more pleasant experience.

Working for this company is by far the worst. Each project manager constantly gets fired or quits. As far as paying their subs--it takes up to 2 months to get paid, if at all. Personally I had to go after there license bond to get paid, which I still have not been paid.

mission restoration started my kitchen remodel in august. the job was to take 1 month to complete. it's now the middle of november and it's still not done. waiting for countertops and completion of other work. nearly impossible to get ahold of our project mgr. not a happy person here without a complete kitchen since august and family expected to be here for thanksgiving. that will be fun with no countertops.........

We were pretty happy with the work but not our project manager. We give them a low rating and would never use this company again because of our interaction with him. He was just not very honest with us. We had a soft clog that caused sewage water to backup into our house. After calling Rotorooter to address the plumbing problem, they quickly turned around and contacted Mission Restoration. It was quick and we probably should have been more discriminating before going through this company. But we have a young child and needed the situation remedied, so we trusted rotorooters recomendation. Mission Restoration indicated that they were willing to do the work right away and willing to wait for the insurance money to come through. That’s something we probably should have gotten in writing because they changed their minds and demanded payment. They made the bathrooms unusable so we couldn’t move back in. I ended up paying the extortion on my credit card so my son could sleep in his bedroom again.

This is one of the worst companies I have ever dealt with. They came out to my place after our water heater leaked and the home warranty company contacted them. They estimated the work would take about 2-3 weeks. The simple project took over 6 weeks.

During the course of the project they scheduled workers to come out to the house and then they simply would not show up. No call, no show FIVE TIMES, yes FIVE different times they completely blew off our appointments and left us waiting and never had anyone show up that day. I complained several times and they just say "that's not typically how we do business" and "we have so many jobs right now and yours just fell through the cracks" but they offer nothing for the hours and literally days worth of my time they have wasted. Even after reaching out to upper management and the owners becoming aware of the issues Mission Restoration still neglected us.

On top of all this they do sub par work. They will have several differnt workers come out to your house and the Mission Restoration Project Manager doesn't even know who the worker is, hopefully he is a licensed contractor but who knows. One worker will mess up and leave and then the other will have to fix it. They left permanent stains on my patio and the damaged my travertine tile, the drywall looks terrible even after I had them come out and try to fix it. Then after all this they have a very shady accounting department that asked me to do things with the insurance check USAA said not to do. This company has zero integrity and I will never do business with them again, STAY AWAY!

Mission Restoration was hired in the beginning of July due to a water leak we had that damaged a bedroom and bathroom. They said it would take one to two weeks and that they would use in house people and could start that week. It sounded great. After they were hired we heard nothing from them. We constantly called and emailed. Multiple times they would make an appointment to come by, we would miss work to meet them and they would just not show without calling. Over a month after they were hired, they sent some contractors that were not in house and that I could have hired off the street. They did a horrendous hack job repairing my house and were sub par. This went on until September when we complained to the Better Business Bureau, and then they finally sent an in house person to fix the damage. However, my wife overheard the in house worker complaining about us on the phone because he had no idea she was home! The paint still looks horrible and I am going to have to hire a professional painter to redo it. One person they sent dropped a toilet in my bathtub and broke both the toilet and damaged the bath tub (and failed to mention it happened until we had to demand they fix it!). They always apologized and provided a discount for our trouble, however this was a horrible experience for us and we were treated like we were not a priority at all. My wife is seven months pregnant and without the use of the upstairs bathroom she had to carry our toddler up and down the stairs multiple times a day. We would never recommend Mission Restoration to anybody.
