Milholland did a great job with the installation of the solar system on my roof. The technician was highly professional and listened to all my requests. I would definitely recommend Milholland for the solar system projects.

Did a reroof and solar with Milholland Electric. They used quality underlayment and materials for the reroof, so the roof should be good for years. They were able to route the conduit for the solar through the attic to the garage as well as mount the boxes inside the garage making for a very clean solar installation. Overall, I’m very happy with the work and price.

Milholland Electric was great to work with. They were prompt ,professional and the installed system was done cleanly with conduits run under the eaves, so there was not a lot exposed conduit across the roof. I went through a fairly comprehensive research project before getting solar. Sunpower was the most competitive and modern highly reliable option. People were all professional and courteous; they were on time; they cared about what they were doing. Whenever I had a question or a small problem arose, they were very responsive. I'd definitely recommend them.

I had solar, but since I live where they turn off power a few times each year, I decided to add a couple more panels and Tesla batteries.

I was really pleased with the responsiveness and thier delivering what I asked for. I had quotes from 3 different companies (big names in San Diego) and Milholland was the only one that quoted what I asked.

Their workers were very good at cleaning up any mess left behind, even sweeping up when I didn't notice anything.

Punctuality was a little iffy, but fortunately my job allows flexibility to manage.

We would like to share our experience with the Milholland Electrical, Roofing, and Solar teams.

We decided to add some clean energy to our home by purchasing a SunPower Equinox Home Solar System for our roof from Milholland. Our key contact at Milholland was Oscar. He was awesome to work with throughout the whole process from getting everything taken care of, to keeping us updated on what was going to happen next, and who would be coming to our home. We truly believe one of the best things that happened during the initial process was having Arturo, the roofing manager come out and look at a small water leak we had coming from our roof. Once Arturo completed the inspection of our roof, he showed us a piece of our roofing underlayment that was crumbling apart when touched. We had to decide whether or not to replace the roofing underlayment. We decided it would be in our best interest to go ahead and have the underlayment replaced to eliminate potential water leaks in the future.

Since Milholland is an Electrical, Roofing, and Solar company, it was an easy choice to have them perform the replacement of our roofing underlayment and install our SunPower Equinox Home Solar System. It was a very positive experience working with a lot of Milholland employees who made sure both projects went smoothly and were completed on time. All the employees who came to our home to work were very personable and professional. At the end of each day the crew would walk around our house to make sure everything was cleaned up and materials were put in a safe location for the evening. If they had questions during the day that they we needed us to answer, they would talk with us. They would give us an update at the end of the day on how the projects were progressing. We were very appreciative about the way they made the areas they were working in safe for us, the owners, and their co-workers. It was great to see safety came first when working. Throughout the whole process of completing our projects, we felt we became part of the Milholland family.

The team members whom we had the opportunity to get to know and work with during our projects were Oscar (Managing Director), Arturo (Roofing Manager), the office team, Maya (Project Coordinator), Silvia (Office Manager), Austin (Project Manager), the Roofing team, Jesus (Lead), Alfredo, Lucio, Kevin, Elisandro, Carlos, and Rick, the Solar System team, Isaiah (Lead), Max and Tony. One of the best things Milholland has done was to open a Solar Design Center (14777 Pomerado Rd, Poway, CA 92064). Going into their Solar Design Center was an awesome experience that gave us the opportunity to not only meet Oscar but to see the products that would be installed on our home.

We had THE BEST experience with Millholland /SunPower! We chose to bundle our new air conditioner, furnace, roof and solar with them. At each phase they were timely, kind and efficient. I definitely recommend them!

Milholland did a great job on our Solar install. They were very proactive to keep us informed on the progress. The whole process took about 6 weeks.

I'm normally really hesitant when people come up off the street to try and sell me something. But Jason with Milholland was a different story. He explained things very well. I had a smaller solar set up on my RV so I had some idea of what we were talking about to begin with. Jason was very forthright with why the set up he was proposing was the way to go. Milholland did a great job with coordinating a roofing upgrade, an electrical box upgrade, and a solar install. The system was generating ahead of schedule. All of this for less than I was paying for power from SDG&E in the first place. I'd recommend Milholland to install SunPower systems to anyone.

We had our roof replaced, solar, and a new AC added to our home. Millholland and their partner companies handled the whole job seamlessly. It’s not easy going through all this without discomfort, but they made it as painless as it could be. All of the employees for all three companies that worked here were professional, courteous, and left the place clean everyday. I’m happy we chose them to do our project. Oh, BTW the solar is working and we’re making energy!!!

Interviewed SEVERAL companies over the past year for solar/AC and Milholand was by far the best customer service and experience overall. Other companies (if they even got back to us) told us we'd have to replace our whole roof, Milholland told us to use the 8 years we still had left on the rest of the roof but that the solar area would need an update. Their AC guys were great (completed that job in less than a week from signing the paperwork). They were always punctual and tidy. Highly recommend!

Great experience working with Milholland...shout out to Maya Cvijic who kept me informed of the status every step of the way - never a delay answering my questions. I have a shake cedar shingle roof with many years of life left. Apparently, solar companies don't like shake roofs....Milholland / McKay Roofing was the go to company that found a solution. The team did a great job with the promise / guarantee of no leaks! The Sun Power panels are the one's I wanted after much research, and Milholland put those on my roof. I'm making power galore even in November. Do yourself a favor and call these folks before you decide on a Solar company.

The entire team from Milholland is top notch. They are always courteous, very patient with all our questions, and very responsive by phone or by e-mail. This made the whole experience very smooth and drama-free. The installation team is very professional and did everything to satisfy our HOA. I would recommend them to anyone who is thinking about solar.
