Great customer service!! Highly recommend.

Called them because my furnace was making weird noises. Colby came out, checked the unit and explained what was wrong and furnace would have to be replaced, They ordered my new furnace, called to let me know and scheduled the install. Came on time, installed my new furnace and now I have heat. I have used Advanced Comfort Control before and will continue to use them. Fantastic company.

Advance Comfort Control and Electrical replaced all the breaker boxes, breakers riser and meter for the electrical service to my house following damage done to the system due to a tree branch falling and taking them out. They were very professional and did a great job. They were on time and completed the work as scheduled. I would recommend them highly.

I just wanted to say, I've used Advanced Comfort Control for everything from service on existing units to complete new installations. I have dealt multiple times with Colby, who has always been knowledgeable and professional. He does an excellent job of explaining what the air system is doing and why, and I can really appreciate that. Keep up the awesome work!

My on demand water heater quit working. Over the past few months I had tried de-scaling the unit and wasted hours online trying to figure out the problem. After dozens of cold showers I decided it was time to give them a call. Colby came out the next day and had it handled quickly. My water heater is working flawlessly now and my only regret is not calling sooner! Give them a call and save yourself the trouble. Quality service at a low price. We had the pleasure of working with Orrin twice now and he is just awesome. We needed a quote on a full breaker box replacement, and some other minor things done, such as exposed wiring taken care of, fixing some outlets that were not working, ect

Orrin is so helpful and knowledgeable, was very kind to my family especially my children who kept invading his work space. He takes the time to explain to you whats going to work for your space and how you can turn things into a reality. Very honest, very helpful and we can't wait to work with this company again.

The gentlemen at ACC are very professional and punctual and respectful. They put in a new heating and air conditioning and mini splits upstairs. Our house is about 90 years old. They worked very hard to get our wiring off knob and tube and now we are all updated. We love our electricians and will use them in the future if we have more needs.

We really appreciated the professionalism and prompt service we received from Advanced Comfort. Our AC stopped working on a very hot summer evening, and Advanced Comfort was here the very next morning. They were honest about our options and got us up and running quickly before the afternoon heat set in! Could not be happier with their service!

In 2023, we decided to switch to a mini-split heat pump to heat our home, primarily to reduce increasing allergy issues related to wood stove heating; and to save on the expense related to the rising costs of using our kerosine heater. We chose Advance Comfort Control to install a new electric mini-split heat pump system. Bill Harkness, the owner, first came to our home to determine how much of a system would be best for our home. He spent close to an hour explaining to us how the system works, where best to place the indoor units, and the outdoor unit. He answered all our questions. He also needed to see our outdoor electric meter main panel; since the mini-split heat pump would be connected directly to it. He recommended that it be replaced with a whole new meter main panel for fire safety reasons. Ours was over 45 years old. We were happy to have ACC replace the meter panel for us also. The July 2023 installation took three working days. The installation crew were very courteous, and took the time to answer all my curious questions about the installation process. They were all very professional. The system heated our home efficiently throughout the 23/24 winter; and kept us comfortably cool during those hot 2024 summer days. In late September of 2024 Destry Harkness, Bill's son, came for the annual service check on the system. Again very courteous and professional, and all our questions were answered clearly. We highly recommend Advance Comfort Control.

Cost analysis for us:
Winter of 21/22 ~ $900.00 to heat our home entirely with the wood stove. Winter of 22/23 ~ $1500.00 to heat our home with the wood stove and the Kerosine stove (a longer and colder winter). Winter of 23/24 ~ $900.00 in extra electricity to heat home, during the whole winter in Westwood, using only the new mini-split heat pump via LMUD.

Advantage for us: no more smoke allergy problems; nor more stacking and hauling of fire wood, or cleaning out wood ash, or semi-annual cleaning of the chimney system. With the mini-split: just a monthly easy to do cleaning of the indoor filter screens.

A side note: If you switch from wood stove heat that uses a brick chimney that has no chimney cap on it, you will need to get one to keep winter's rain and snow from coming down into the home! If and when the power goes out we can still use the wood stove in the winter.

I want to thank the team at Advanced Comfort Control for their excellent service. Our furnace went out and they were able to remove the old one and install the new one. The team were professional and experts in the work they performed. It was a pleasure to have these young men in our home. Again... Thank You!

We had a problem with our instant hot water heater. I called Advanced Comfort Control and Julie was very helpful and had Colby and Colter come out. They were able to diagnose our problem. They were courteous and very helpful. We were given a bid for repair or replacement of our old heater in a timely manner. We decided to replace the hot water heater. John came and replaced the water heater. He was courteous, efficient and helpful. On each visit the mechanics from ACC kept us informed of their time of arrival and if they were going to be late. We are very pleased with the service we received. We highly recommend this company.

We're really pleased with the service from Advanced Comfort Control. We requested quotes to do some electrical maintenance, and a mini-split installation. They were on time for the quote meeting, didn't rush the process, and gave useful information. They returned the quotes via email within two weeks as they said they would. We felt the quotes were very reasonable. The technician who did the work was on time to start, and completed the work in the amount time they said they would. The price did not change from the quote to the finished job. I'd highly recommend Advanced Comfort Control. It's not that often these days you find such a reliable and trustworthy company. They made the process easy and quick.

My original review of Advanced Comfort (written after they installed a new system for me two years ago) appears below. In the original review, I described them as one of the best service companies I have ever dealt with. I continue to have that view. Since installing my system, they have been back periodically to service it, as well as to address a couple of issues that arose with the system. They have been extremely responsive, standing behind their work, and continue to be totally customer-oriented. I take a lot of comfort knowing I can call on them if ever the need arises.

I recently engaged Advanced Comfort Control for a very substantial project at a home in the Sierra Nevada mountains. It involved replacing the propane-based furnace system with a heat pump system for both heating and air; replacing the ducting for the old system; replacing the propane water heater with a heat pump water heater; and a variety of electrical upgrades necessary for the former and for new appliances we planned to install.

Their work was superb in every respect. It began with a very thoughtful analysis of my needs, extensive discussion of the alternatives, and a willingness to answer the many questions I had on the details. They then prepared fixed-price proposals that spelled out very clearly the work that would be done. One person at the company then handled the scheduling and management of the project, keeping me informed of what was going to be done by whom and when. I received a weekly email that summarized the work that had been completed that week and what was next on the list. The communication was clear, timely and extremely useful.

I have worked with many contractors over the years in a variety of locales in California. I have never seen anyone as competent, well-organized, and communicative as the people I dealt with at Advanced Comfort. Importantly, they were also up to date on the latest technology in all of the areas where I needed help. I recommend them highly and without reservation.
